We're here to let you know that the jerky boys are back in a new Kickstarter to fund the official XOXO Droplets spin-off. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ XOXO Blood Droplets is a cute, comedic, and creepy Visual Novel. The goal is to somehow romance a murderous boy without having the crazy dudes you didn't pick (or even the one you did) end your life. It doesn't tend to go well. In fact, usually it's pretty horrific. Along with six others, she’s forced to join an after-school group created for students that are deemed ‘unfriendable’. JB is fine with that, especially ‘cause one of the awful people there is her special someone. It doesn’t matter that he has trouble getting along with people and is a murderer; he’s still perfect to her! Well maybe. No matter how many sparkly hearts consume her vision at the beginning, anything can happen in this place. The amount of twisted, winding ways the story can unfold is frightening. All you can count on for sure is that it will be crazy. We never would have gotten this far without you ❤The Lucas Kaiser Route Has Been Released!Oct 11, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsYes, the Lucas Kaiser route of XOXO Droplets is out! We promised you a romance route for that strange Halloween-haired party man and we’ve officially delivered. If you have the extended addition of the game already then you’ve got access to the route. It’s a completely free addition so you only have to let the game update. If you’ve been playing the basic version of XOD, now would be a good time to pick up the whole thing. It’s 32% until October 17th! We chose that number because the overall word count went from a massive 290,000 to a whopping 320,000, haha. https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/28431405/ece14b7a7c5b8f2552e8f19f6acbd5074584fb1c.gif It’s important to note that originally you could get the first few events of the Lucas route in either version of XOXO Droplets. Now all the Lucas content is included just in the extended version of the game. If you're all set to woo that boy, here's some insight into how it works. The Luke Route isn’t gameplay based. You don’t have to rack up Affection Points, or buy certain items, or anything. His events happen at specific, automatic points throughout the game. There are a few chances where you can choose jump off of his route, but other than that all you have to do is get through the days. Our recommended method is- • Start a new file from the beginning • Turn events you don’t want off using the events setting page in the More section • Use cheats to get Reputation and Swifty Taffy • Set the taffy to Weekly Equip • Sleep away the days • On October 11th, Year 1 you will be invited to a party, be sure attend • Keep sleeping through the months and enjoy all the lovely Lucas Kaiser content If you find any issues with this route, please let us know by posting in the bugs/errors thread! We’ve also made some other improvements; fixing typos and removing bugs and the like. Plus we added a brand new cheat code! i-want-it-all That code works in the extended addition of the game. It instantly unlocks all the unlockable gallery/list content. The outfits, CGs, phone backgrounds, and the Guy List. Lucas isn't included on the Guy List because he functions so differently from the other boyfriend options. The one downside is that if you use this code you won’t get the achievement for filling out the Guy List on your own. You’ll have to clear your data from the More Section and start from scratch. And that about wraps things up. This will be our final major addition to XOXO Droplets. It’s been wonderful sharing this project with all of you. I hope that you’ll continue to enjoy it! While moving on is always sad, at least there’s that spin-off to look forwards to. Lastly, we’ve got one more bit of news; GB Patch Games has started a Patreon account! The jerk squad is back in a brand new game and now they’re not only unnecessarily difficult annoyances, they’re also obsessive murderers. You play as JB (renameable) and get to romance the six main boyfriend options from XOXO Droplets: Pran Taylor, Jeremy King, Bae Pyoun, Shiloh Fields, Nate Lawson, and Everett Gray. There’s an array of side characters running around as well, both old and new. One route will be released for free, the other five will be included in a paid “full version”. In the normal XOXO Droplets the boys have trouble admitting how they feel and don’t actively try to romance the MC. That is not the case here. All six of them openly want to be with JB and are willing to get rid of the competition if that’s what it’ll take. If you'd like to know what it’s like to have the tables turned and be pursued by these guys, do check out the demo we just released! We've updated XOXO Droplets. The changes are: -Grammar/Spelling fixes -Changed a few sentences to make things clearer -Got rid of a couple formatting issues that caused an error report to appear -Fixed an issue that stopped some people from being able to get Davis as their boyfriend -Made it so you'll get a tiny comment from the MC if you have a Clique at Max Reputation at the end of the game -Fixed an issue with how Kam's boyfriend info was displayed on the Relationship Info screen -Added a few more details to the Tip Screens -Made it so you can get up to 5 Tickets through the Tic-Tak-SMACK mini-game. It was accidentally set to give 4 at the max -Fixed an error that labeled Kam as someone you didn't know during the Silver/Gold Necklace accessory scene -Removed the option to get a main guy as your boyfriend right before the field trip. That was done because the relationship announcement event and field trip events aren't compatible.
