Maybe you d rather clotheshorse your opponent onto the safety mat. Or batterslap them into a Willy Nelson, before delivering a final heel storm? The possibilities are many in WWE 2K18 , which came out yesterday. As an expert in wrestling, I can tell you it is the roughest, toughest and buffest since *checks filing cabinet* WWE 2K17. (more…) Now Available on Steam - WWE 2K18Oct 17, 2017 - Product ReleaseWWE 2K18 is Now Available on Steam! WWE fans, sports gamers, and fighting game fanatics - the biggest video game franchise in WWE history is back with WWE 2K18! WWE 2K18 won't have paid microtransactions, says 2KOct 4, 2017 - PC GamerLast week, 2K revealed this year's WWE entry is coming to PC in October—on the same day as its console counterparts for the first time ever. We then learned the ins and outs of its season pass, and now the publisher has affirmed paid microtransactions will not feature in the incoming installment. NBA 2K18's focus on virtual currency was not received well by would-be players, and left many to assume the latest WWE venture would follow suit. It won't, so told 2K via Twitter, before linking to the game's official website. The wording there is pretty explicit. The above featured link, however, takes you to the game's official site wherein loot cases are discussed in relation to the game's MyPlayer, MyCareer and new Road to Glory modes. They're discussed thusly: Along with upgrading your MyPlayer comes deeper customization. This year, you’ll be able to unlock hundreds of moves and Superstar parts to customize your MyPlayers as you see fit.  Unlocks can be earned through loot cases and progression in both MyCareer and Road to Glory. Most Superstar parts and moves are locked from the start. Once an item is unlocked, it is then purchasable with VC.  There are three levels of loot cases: Bronze, Silver and Gold. You have a higher chance of unlocking more rare items in Silver and Gold cases. You can purchase loot cases in MyPlayer, MyCareer and Road to Glory. You will also earn loot cases through progression in both MyCareer and Road To Glory. That last paragraph is a little misleading in that it seems to suggest two ways for unlocking loot cases. But 2K's tweet is nevertheless clear. WWE 2K18 is due on October 13, 2017.  WWE 2K18 season pass includes the Hardy Boyz and the 'Pumphandle Death Valley Driver'Sep 27, 2017 - PC Gamer2K Games announced a couple of days ago that the upcoming table-smashing sim WWE 2K18 will be released for the PC on the same day that it comes out for consoles—a first for the series. It also made mention of the Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes a few bonus rasslers—RVD, the Beast, and a couple of alt-Cenas—and the season pass, details of which weren't available but would be announced "soon." Which, as it turns out, means "today."  The pass will include the Enduring Icons Pack, with the Hardy Boyz, Beth Phoenix, and The Rock 'n' Roll Express; the New Moves Pack, which adds new in-game moves including the Tie Breaker, the Crash Landing, the Swinging Sleeper Slam, and the Pumphandle Death Valley Driver (here's a video, in case you don't believe that's an Actual Thing); the NXT Generation Pack, with Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, Elias, Lars Sullivan, and Ruby Riot; a MyPlayer Kick Start, which will provide "access to unlock and boost MyPlayer ratings and attributes made available at launch as part of the game’s MyCareer mode"; and an Accelerator that provides immediate access to all unlockable content (excluding DLC) at launch.    The season pass will go for $30. and the contents will also be available for purchase separately:  * Enduring Icons: $10; * New Moves: $4; * NXT Generation: $10; * MyPlayer Kick Start: $10; * Accelerator: $5; WWE 2K18 comes out on October 17. And now, here's a clip of the Rock 'n' Roll Express arriving at Matt Hardy's house for Apocalypto. Because rasslin. WWE 2K18 is coming to the PC in OctoberSep 25, 2017 - PC Gamer2K Games has announced that the upcoming pro rasslin' game WWE 2K18 will be released for the PC on October 17, the same day as the PS4 and Xbox One editions of the game. That makes it the first game in the series to come out for the PC on the same day as the console releases.  Previous WWE 2K games have made their way onto the PC, but it's always been after a delay. 2K15 came to the PC in April 2015 after the October 2014 console release, 2K16 arrived on PC in March 2016 after debuting on consoles in October 2015, and 2K17 kept up the pattern by coming to PC in February 2017, after first showing on consoles in October 2016.   It's still possible for the console crowd to get a bit of a head start on PC players, as the four-day early access "perk" that comes with preorders of the Deluxe Edition isn't being offered on the PC. The Deluxe Edition includes the season pass (details of which will be announced "soon"), playable John Cena characters from ECW One Night Stand (2006) and Wrestlemania 26 (2010), and playable "John Cena rivals" Batista and Rob Van Dam. Preordering either edition will also net you two playable Kurt Angle personas: WWE "American Hero," and ECW "Wrestling Machine." Oddly enough, the announcement didn't come with any images of Angle, so here's Samoa Joe and some other guys.   WWE 2K18 will slam into PC alongside console launchSep 25, 2017 - Rock, Paper, Shotgun
