Update 3: The BalanceningFeb 24, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsHowdy! It's been a minute hasn't it? I wanted to update the game to spice the gameplay up. Some players thought the game was a bit too easy before, so Goose has had some things to say about that. Things could also be a bit one dimensional being able to bet all of your money. I've done my best to make items / strategies more viable than they were before, details below if you're interested. Also, the Zever Games Discord is back! The old one was in an unfortunate volcanic incident. Changes: Betting odds have been added. After the first couple of rounds, odds can change every two turns. Item prices have been reduced. Max wager amount has been limited to 50% Most passives have been changed to scale with coins rather than fixed amounts Ransom amounts have changed. Rare card, tiger item values lowered. Ransom rounds are now visible in the top right part of the screen. Update 2: Heard you like more itemsDec 17, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsHey everyone, Got a fresh update for ya! Here's what's new: NEW ITEMS Smoke Bomb - 30% chance of blinding your opponent causing them to lose a die on the next roll. Katana - Reduce opponent's max roll by 1-3 on the next turn. Safety Net - Reroll 1s you roll in the same turn. Ladder - Use to add 1-2 to minimum roll of each die. Mysterious Orb - If you roll matching numbers, an hour is added to the ransom time. Passivo - Randomly eats one of your passives to add 5% of total coins to value. 6 turn cool down Magic Candy - Eat to reduce item cooldowns by 2 turns. Gauntlet - Throw to double your next wager return if you win the roll. If lost, lose twice your wager. NEW PASSIVE Dark Magic - When you subtract from your own dice roll, get 1% of coins added to your bank. FIXES & CHANGES Fixed bug with new game item randomization Added 3 new messages from Goose Added new notification system with additional notifications when certain items are used. The reception to the game has been really great - big thanks to everyone that's picked it up and challenged Goose to win their files back. My priority for the next few updates is adding more items, with some new passives too. I have some mechanics in mind that will be in the game eventually. NEW ITEMS Magic Marble - Adds 20% of lost wagers to its value every time you lose a roll. Portal - Use your previous roll again this turn. Collapses on use. Tiki Totem - Sacrifice 1 from your current roll. Get 1-3 added to one of your dice next roll. Can use every 2 turns. Lag Switch - Skip the current roll for 25% of your coins. Can be used every 6 turns. Blowgun - When used shoots a dart that prevents Goose from using any items for 3 turns. Sweater - Increases winning wagers by 25% four times before coming undone. FIXES & CHANGES Fixed a possible bug with upper left coin amount not updating in certain circumstances. Fixed events displaying after a game over. Fixed bug with incorrect buttons showing on a game over past a certain point. Added commas to item values for readability. Repositioned cooldown notification images/text on items. Changed default sound effect volumes. Added sound effect for winning the game. Added sound effect for losing the game. Added sound effect for winning rounds. Added status effects. Added item type indicator in shop. Changed tool tip text positioning slightly for easier reading. Changed trader item randomization code for more variance.
