Versus Squad 1.32 is now live on Steam!Jun 11, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsHello everyone, New languages added! Versus Squad is now available in French and Polish. Thanks to Noodle Master for translating the whole game into Polish! Every boss will now always drop money when killed Regular zombies will drop 30% more money in the first 30 minutes, and 20% more in the first hour of a game Added a new hardcore difficulty level: Ultra Violence Difficulty. Faster enemy spawning, more money drops and extra Xp, enemies do 50% more damage. This is for experienced players who want to score higher with shorter games but with more chance to die sooner as well. Be warned: Ultra is 50% more difficult than 'Hard' difficulty, but also gives 50% more Xp! Clamped maximum damage you can receive in one time, even in highest difficulty you won't die from a single hit if your health was >50%. In unlimited ammo mode, all weapons picked up will have a full ammo clip, there's no chance of a random ammo amount Coop: Death Clock shows for non-host players (red shield around player during 30 seconds of invulnerability) The grenade counter now shows correctly if non-host players have more than 15 grenades (Tactical Perk) Skip build phase for gamepad: to prevent accidental left trigger grenade explosion from skipping build phase for everyone else, you now need to hold down the left trigger for 2 seconds to skip the build phase Optimizations! (You can press Space again to force start the next round if you really don't want to wait for the other players) This will make it less likely that a host starts a new wave while other players are still building. You can now pickup/sell damaged objects as well. For example if a sentry gun is 25% damaged, you will get back 75% of its value when you remove it from the map. Added a new option: Player kicking On/Off in the game's 'Control Options' section. If you're out of grenades and wish to keep moving instead of slowing down and kick, you can now turn kicking Off. Strategic Perk mode now shows the number of strategic perk picks you have and how many you have left to pick. New Random powerup choice in Random Perk Mode. When playing in Random Perk mode you will now always get a 6th 'Get a Random Powerup' option in case you don't like any listed perks or when you've gotten all perks. This will drop a random powerup a few meters away from you. In online coop you can also let another player pick up this powerup. 'Static Attack' Bosses like the Rotor, Mortar and M61 Gatling Bosses will try not to linger just outside the edges of the map anymore. Added 'Host Dominion' in on-line coop: when a player leaves, the host will get access to that player's objects so you can remove them if needed. 'Player has joined the lobby' and 'Player has joined the game' messages will now be in your set language and not in the language set by the player who's joining. Physics collisions with flares, exploded gas canisters, empty weapon magazines etc. have been removed since they sometimes blocked the player. Easy Difficulty now has 20% less damage done to the player and 10% less chance of enemies running. 10% extra coin drops in the first 30 minutes of a game. Added armor-based Boss XP: Since bosses will increase their armor up to 2.5X their original during the game, you will now get up to 2.5X their XP per kill, allowing you to move up the leaderboard faster. Added the weapon's associated achievement "Fired Up" Building/Waves Increased Wave build time in coop to 60 seconds to allow more repair time. (Remember you can skip the build phase with Space/Left Trigger). Unified wave enemy numbers. Waves now ramp up from 25 enemies (instead of 50) at wave 1, 50 in wave 2, 75 wave 3, etc. To offset, there's 20% more chance of running enemies in earlier waves. Being a heavy weapon it will slow you down a little though. Added the weapon's associated achievements: Hammered In a game use the Jackhammer to kill 5 Demolition Bosses Hammer And Nail For 20 minutes kill bosses only with a Nailgun, others only with a Jackhammer For Hammer And Nail make sure you remember to switch to the correct weapon when killing any boss - and back again for regular enemies - otherwise your achievement time is reset ;) Misc: Seekers now target the nearest enemies much more effectively. They will always try to target the nearest enemy and avoid targeting some enemy far across the map. This strongly reduces the chance of any wasted seekers. I've also increased their final explosion range more so that they will kill enemies even when not too close. When playing Tactical Wave game, extra wave information is shown before each wave starts, including the maximum number of simultaneous bosses on this wave, and the current enemy armor multiplier. Here's what has been added since version 1.19: You can now repair barricades during build phases! To do this, stand near a damaged barricade and repair will automatically kick in after 1 second. Repairs cost up to 90% of the cost of the item. For example if you repair a barricade that costs 500 new and it is 50% damaged, the repair will cost 225 coins. So repairing is a bit cheaper than rebuying the item, but it takes time Bonus: You can now also repair all types of sentry guns. Increased the size of the Battlefield map by 20% and the Campsite map by 40% for those who like Run n Gunning. Increased powerup drop rate by 10% during the first 30 minutes of a game. This will make a few achievements a little easier to hunt down. For the M61, Mortar and Flamer Bosses: Increased their attack frequency by 25% but only if they are the only boss left on the map. There is no change when there are multiple bosses active. Increased camera height by 5 meters (15 feet) so you can see more of the battlefield. Frequency of money (coins) dropped increased by 20%. You should quickly be able to pick up 1000+ coins per wave and more in waves 10+. Increased cooldown speed of regular sentry by 10% Achievements: Added 5 new achievements: Drone Strike, Burst, Serial Kill, Massacre and Intruder. Multiplayer: In on-line coop games, clients can now tell the host/server they are ready to begin the next wave by hitting Space or Left Trigger during a build phase. The host will see a 'READY!' indicator mark above the players who are ready. The host/server now updates 30% faster which should reduce lag (enemies and the state of the game gets updated more often) Decreased damage from the Flamethrower boss 30% and added a small delay so that you're less likely to get damaged when the flamethrower weapon is just starting up. Armor of enemies is reduced by 10% which makes enemies a little easier to kill in online games.
