Below are the patch notes for update 1.2, shipped on 12 December 2024. New Venues - Added Cambrian Hall. Located in the heart of England’s Capital and draped in rich boxing history, fighting at this venue is every prospect’s dream. - Added Atlantis, an underwater aquarium-like venue, located on the ocean bed. New Cosmetics - All players will receive an additional free outfit for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk – recreate their historic first fight in all its glory with their fight-accurate outfits. Career Mode - Introduced the ability for players to move up and down a weight class from their starting weight class. We know this is one a lot of you have been asking for and we’re excited to see you step up to the challenge of becoming Undisputed in not one, not two, but three weight classes with the same fighter! - Introduced the esteemed boxing correspondent Gareth A Davies to the Career Mode media feed, the first in a series of real-life media figures and brands. - Made a range of quality-of-life improvements to the career mode’s UI. General Changes - Introduced Cruiserweight, Bantamweight, and Light Heavyweight queues to online quick fight and online ranked. - Added new knockdown and knockout animations. - Added an animation that plays when a fighter’s block health has been depleted, giving players better visual feedback during gameplay. - Slightly reduced stamina cost on missed punches and on power punches to make combination and pressure fighting a more viable option. - Made a range of quality-of-life improvements to game audio and commentary. - Made performance optimisations to custom characters. - Fixed an issue that meant players that quit out of online games on PlayStation weren’t being punished, and the win was not being correctly awarded to the remaining player. This now works as expected. - Plenty of other bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.Undisputed Update 1.1.3 - Patch NotesNov 14, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHey fight fans, Thank you for your support since the launch of Undisputed. We know that some critical issues are having an impact on the game experience, particularly for our online players, and we appreciate how frustrating they can be. We shared an update with you a few weeks ago on some of those key issues, outlining a plan to resolve them in our first scheduled update in mid-December. We’re happy to share that, after several weeks of work on some of these critical issues, we’re able to deliver an interim update today, with the list of changes below, while maintaining our plans for December and future updates. Patch Notes for Update 1.1.3: - Changes to the block colliders to ensure that block functions as expected and the number of power punches that break through the block is greatly reduced. - Deontay Wilder’s stats have been reduced, and we’ve removed a trait. His power hooks should now be less impactful. - Increased max stamina cost of hooks and straights. - Increased the cost of power punches to both short-term and max stamina. - Introduced a threshold on the number of power punches that can be thrown within a single fight before the stamina cost per power punch is increased further. - Increased the stamina cost of pushing, which should reduce the amount of people spamming the push mechanic. - Temporarily removed the critical stumble reaction from the game as it was too punishing. - Reduced the effectiveness and chainability of hooks by further slowing them down when a fighter is gassed. - Fixed an issue that would prevent players from moving if they entered flat-footed movement while fighting on the inside. - On Xbox and PC Steam: Ranked quitters should now receive a loss on their record, and the remaining player should receive a win. The fix for PlayStation is taking longer than we’d like and will hopefully be part of the December update. As mentioned, another update will be released in mid-December, which will contain further bug fixes as well as new features, improvements, and content for you to enjoy. There will also be plenty more to come in 2025. Thank you again for your support and patience. We’ll see you in the ring! Undisputed 1.0 Out Now - Launch Trailer + Patch Notes!Oct 8, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsUndisputed is OUT NOW on Steam! Watch the full launch trailer below. All players that joined us on our early access journey now have access to the full launch of Undisputed, as well as the Roy Jones Jr. '93 pre-order bonus. Players can purchase access the Deluxe WBC Edition upgrade in the Steam store. Patch Notes Gameplay - We’ve replaced gassed, dazed, and fatigue punch animations. Previously, these punches were slowed/increasingly slowed animations. This felt and looked clunky. We’ve now replaced these so that instead of slowing the animations, the time needed between punches is increased, so players can’t throw as many punches within the same period of time as when not dazed or gassed. - We’ve increased the short and the long-term stamina cost for punches, and further increased the stamina cost of missed punches – meaning you should pick your shots carefully and ensure you time your punches for accuracy if you want to prolong your stamina into those championship rounds. - We’ve balanced our between-round stamina recovery so that players can now directly impact the amount of stamina they’ll recover. The between-round stamina recovery is heavily tied to your activity in the latest round, so in rounds where you’re using lots of stamina, you’ll also recover less overall when the round ends, and vice versa. - We’ve increased the damage dealt by power punches, and we’ve also increased the damage dealt by a punch being a counter punch, so if you’re able to catch your opponent slacking and land a clean power punch with the likes of Wilder or Frank Bruno, your opponent will feel it. - We’ve also reduced the counter window, meaning your punches must be even more well-timed to score a counter punch – so read your opponent and time your shots well if you want to maximise damage. - We’ve introduced directional damage, which means that forward moving punches now do more damage than backwards moving punches. - We’ve increased the speed of health regeneration for short term head and body health, while increasing the damage dealt to max head and body health. The goal being to ensure players and AI can have high-pace, high-action rounds without them leading to an excessive number of knockdowns. - We have updated our stationary jabs and stationary straights so those ones and twos will come out cleaner than ever. - We've updated the body straight so that fighters properly bend their knees. This looks a bit more natural and can also help you get underneath certain punches if your timing is on point. - We’ve shortened the maximum range of body uppercuts so that they can’t be used as a lead punch; get inside to use uppercuts effectively. - We’ve updated the step-in straight and step-in body jab, giving players more options to get inside or chase down an opponent who is on the back foot. - We've updated blocking poses in Undisputed to improve the consistency of all blocks, but in particular body blocks, so you won't see as many punches bleeding through when you feel ...Now Broadcasting: UndisputedOct 8, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsBecome Undisputed in the most authentic boxing game to date! We want to thank all our early access players for not only having faith in Undisputed and joining us on our journey to full launch. We also want to thank you for being critical to the development journey by providing consistent and quality feedback that has helped us shape the game for full launch and that will continue to shape our priorities for future updates to Undisputed. The transition from early access to full release comes with a few changes, most notably for our early access audience, the full reset of online ranked. When the game enters full release on October 8th all player ranks will be reset, meaning players will start fresh and must earn a new place in the rankings. Your player level, which is separate from your rank, will not be reset. The opening season of the full launch of Undisputed, season 0, will act as a sort of pre-season, giving us time to further balance gameplay and finesse our ranking system, and giving new players a chance to familiarise themselves with the game ahead of season 1 sometime in 2025. As a sidenote, within a few weeks of full launch we will be shutting down online services for any players that have not updated their game to the full launch version. That’s all we have to share around ranked right now – we’ll look to share more about season 1 closer to the time. As a reminder, all PC early access players will be able to play the full launch of Undisputed on Tuesday the 8th of October, and will also automatically receive access to the pre-order bonus Roy Jones Jr. ’93.
