Fixed: Crash when assigning a pad in Joypad Config. Patch Notes: v1.7.2.1Mar 16, 2025 - Community Announcementsːufocampː UFO 50 Various performance optimizations. Fixed: Speed records for completing Avianos and for completing the whole collection inadvertently shared the same variable. Note: Players who already completed all 50 games likely have incorrect times for Avianos speedruns. Unfortunately, we're unable to recover that data. Sorry about that. :( Fixed: Interface for viewing your whole collection completion times was inconsistent with how it's handled elsewhere. Fixed: Changing language in profile settings didn't change the language of the Mood setting. New: You can now reset joypad controls back to the defaults by holding both shoulder buttons on the Joy Config menu for 2 seconds. This was needed for Steam Deck players especially. Some attract modes that were broken were re-recorded. Attactics Tweak: The first campaign scenario now shows a single grunt instead of a row of grunts, since it was confusing when juxtaposed against the tip about forming columns. Fixed: Hit boxes on enraged grunts were too large, causing them to sometimes get hit by assassin daggers that should miss them. Fixed: It was possible to glitch the SLOW-DOWN cheat and get unlimited moves. Avianos Fixed: The AI was making some minor reasoning errors in its building logic when gods were scrambled. Bug Hunter Fixed: When a Dragonfloosh turned into an egg, its drone did not die right away and could be rescued by a new Dragonfloosh spawning in. Fixed: Pushing a drone into anti-energy produced a larvae that could still fly. Fixed: Pushing an invincible Dragonfloosh onto bug spray caused a repeating audio glitch. Fixed: In making movement predictions, the game didn't properly account for pushing Dragonflooshes in or out of invincibility range. Balance: Dragonflooshes no longer will spawn a drone if a preexisting drone already protects them. Fixed: Using Resupply to add a third anti-energy created an explosion instead of an egg. Fixed: There were inconsistencies in what would happen if you pushed an egg into anti-energy. Now, it should always cause eggs to hatch. Balance: Cost of Burst lowered to 3. Fixed: Maximize now applies its effect to Maneuver and Engage. Cyber Owls Fixed: Crash after entering the line-of-sight of a destroyed Spiderbot in Guin's Antarctica mission. Lords of Diskonia Balance: Now ensures that in Streak mode and 2P Full War mode, both players will receive the same 3 initial skill options. Memory optimizations for potential performance gains. Elfazar's Hat Prevented the minigame from generating unwinnable maps. Fixed a statistics inconsistency. Grimstone Fixed: Dying and reviving in Santonio church would sometimes cause "invisible walls" to appear in town until you left town. Fixed: Spaces missing between "STAT UP!" text during level up. Keyboard glyphs won't be displayed in prompts while using Steam Deck. You can now reroute different controller devices to different players from Joypad Config. Dynamic controller reassignment automatically ensures that connected controllers are paired efficiently. For example, if only 1 controller is connected, it will always be assigned to player 1 and not player 2. Various small adjustments. The Big Bell Race Made UFOs explode if they go off-screen, in the rare case they clip out of bounds. Bushido Ball Fixed: Crash when charge bar tried to charge more than 3 bars. Campanella 2 Ironed out a number of level generation edge case bugs. Shortened attract mode. Campanella 3 Fixed a minor graphical glitch with the wave score display. Prevented certain transitions from being able to cancel out of a Game Over state. Cyber Owls Fixed: Game did not continue to Part 2 after rescuing a captured owl even if all the missions were complete. Fixed: Could get stuck in an infinite death loop in the final area of Octavio's Antarctica mission. Golfaria Fixed: Crash when water strider enemy fell into pits or drowned. Grimstone Fixed: An issue with floor heights would sometimes cause the player to bump into "invisible walls" on the map. Fixed some localization issues: Equipped items were only being displayed in English and some stats weren't lining up properly in non-English languages. Fixed: Dead players could still use their skills from the map menu. Fixed: Healing dead players from the map menu would revive them. Fixed: At level 40, Rufus wasn't actually getting his SURVIVE Level 3 perk. Fixed: Certain enemy attacks that inflicted BLINDNESS, POISON, PARALYSIS, and CONFUSION on the player were always resisted, regardless of the player's RES stat. (Fixing this does make some enemies trickier to fight... but also more interesting?) There was a staircase that appeared after a certain boss was defeated but would disappear if you left the dungeon and returned. This led people to believe they were softlocked if they left before using the staircase, even though they weren't. Now the staircase never disappears. Rail Heist On Rescue Mission, if you freed Brand by breaking the floor below him, it did not count as a rescue. It is now possible to replay the ending so that you can see improvements in your star count and associated ranking. Vainger Fixed: Issues with boss and player getting pushed out of the arena during final boss fight. Fixed: Flickering on orbs and head when final boss' final form moves. Fixed: Flickering on certain objects when respawning on final boss' final form. Change: Made final boss fight's final form arena slightly narrower (2¼ screens wide instead of 3). Valbrace Fixed: Crash when attempting to move the Formid Head warp cursor out of the level bounds to the East or South. Fixed: Enemies could initiate combat while making a wish. Made some slight tweaks to marked letters in our fonts to make them read better in non-English languages. Fixed: Enemies would sometimes stop moving and reacting. Hot Foot Fixed: Sometimes still crashed at the start of a match. Fixed: Yet another crash bug, related to Jerry's wavy bag ability. Hyper Contender Tweak: On new profiles, Brazz's controls will default to consistent instead of reversed. Magic Garden Fixed: Sometimes a jump would stop short and you'd land on the adjacent tile. When placing potions, the game will more thoroughly search for an empty tile and actively avoids the player's position. Also, potions will not get activated by the player while the potion is appearing. This way, the player has more control over when they activate potions. Mini & Max Fixed: If you collected an item immediately after breaking it out of a rock, then the item would always look like a backpack regardless of what it actually was. Fixed: If you put a train robber in your backpack, it had no icon in the top left. Fixed: Prior patches could corrupt items saved in Mini's backpack so that they would spawn the wrong secondary item. For example a fungal block might spawn a random object instead of the mushroom it is supposed to. Fixed: Amoebas could eat Gearface. On the one hand this was very funny and cool, on the other hand, it allowed players to bypass the entire final level. Fixed: Because of an error in a prior patch, Mini could no longer shrink directly on the doorknob (post opening the way to doorknob palace). Pilot Quest Slard will push you off of him if you get stuck on him after he moves. In the Wild Zone, the "NOTHING HERE" textbox is replaced with a floating text. (This is partly because this textbox was being exploited to destroy bombs, which is funny but...) Pingolf Fixed a rare softlock where you could get stuck rolling back and forth on top of a pin.
