Trust No Bunny

September UpdateAug 31, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsOutside of bug fixing, the main things we wanted to tackle with this patch were 1. Improving the in-game store and 2. Giving players a way to get costume items that were no longer available. These ended up dovetailing very nicely and I think we've managed to tick both boxes. ----------------------------------------- Improved Store These are the main changes 1. We've drastically improved the store UI so that now you can, among other things, see more than 1 item at a time. 2. We've gotten rid of the old green PD icon and we've replaced it with a shiny Golden Karat! ⭐️ 3. We've added a second currency that players will be able to use for some items in the store without spending money called...Silver Karats (ok we ran out of ideas). More on this in a sec. 4. We've added _lots_ of items from previous Twitch streams, giveaways etc. This is something we heard a lot about as players would see costumes they liked but couldn't get their hands on. “Ok but how to we get Silver Karats!?” I hear you say. Now this part is interesting. Introducing..... Trust No Bunny Discord Bot Ok so we might have had a bit too much fun with this one but the bot basically works like this, there's even some lore...There's this shady Count and he shows up in Discord servers every so often. When you spot him you can have a go at maybe liberating him of some of his ill-gotten Silver Karats. Just /roll, the higher you roll the more Silver you'll escape with - just hope you don't roll a 1, I've heard bad things happen. Note: You'll have to link your Discord x TNB accounts for this to work (you can do so in-game). The bot will be in our official Discord server but other servers are welcome to add it to theirs as well. the more servers you have it in the more Silver you can pilfer. We'll also be looking to add Silver Karats as an in-game earnable currency (e.g. after winning a game), although that will take a bit of time to make sure we get it right and it doesn't impact games in any sort of negative way :eyes: September Twitch Drop Just in case you missed it we'll be dropping the Sus Samurai starting from the 4/5th (depending on your time zone) till the end of the month. Drops happen here! -> https://www.twitch.tv/ratmantnb Bug Fixes - Fixed a bug that was causing the Carpenter Steam achievement from not properly being granted - Fixed a bug that was causing Dizzying Stench wins not to count toward the relevant win stat - Fixed some issues related to text formatting - Fixed a number of under-the-hood bugs that might have caused issues related to selecting cosmetics (we’re keeping an eye on this one, let us know if you run into issues with selecting cosmetics) Miscellaneous - We've made some balance changes to the incoming wolf numbers for 5 and 8 player games. Those are currently too tough for Townsfolk at 5 and Werebunnies at 8. We'll be keeping an eye on win rates this month to see if they turn back in the right direction. - Japanese has been added we're fixing formatting issues as w...New Mutation!Aug 12, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsThis is our first new mutation since Beta - Really excited to see what people do with this one. The Mutation is called “Dizzying Stench” and it goes something like this….” When you vote NO for the first time, townsfolk card values are concealed that night.” We think this will be a fun addition to the Werebunny arsenal but we’ll be keeping an eye on it to see if it gives away too much >_> Happy gaming everyone!Trust No Bunny Launch!Aug 7, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsThe day has finally arrived, Trust No Bunny has launched!Steam Full ReleaseJul 11, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsWe're coming out of early access on August 7th! 10 months and 10s of thousands of games later we're happy to announce we've set a date for our Steam Full Release. We're really excited for what the future holds for Trust No Bunny. A huge thank you to everyone who's played the game and provided feedback and ideas so far. We had some boxes we knew we wanted to tick for v 1.0 and I think we've more or less managed to cross those off. A few of the changes coming in before Launch Day are: **Single Player vs Bots** - We want players to be able to learn the game at their own pace. Being able to get in a game right away, at any time, to learn how things like quirks and items work will be a help here. **Renown Track Rewards** - This is kind of a 2 for 1. Players will unlock custom Mayor Banner icons by completing renown tracks. Mayor banners can now be customized in the cosmetics screen. We never want to pass up an opportunity to help players flex **Dynamic Quirks** - Currently some quirks can feel significantly more punishing at lower player counts (looking at you Stubborn and Naive). We're changing how quirks work so that, depending on player count, the win conditions will scale. **Launch Festivities** - Win games as a community to unlock the Good vs Evil Launch Festival Costumes! There will be separate win goals for both the good and the evil costumes. We’ll also have an all new Horned Raider Twitch drop running from Aug 7th -31st! **Bugssss** - We've managed to hunt down and kill some annoying bugs that players have run into recently and we're looking forward to pushing the fixes ----------------------------------------- One of our main focuses for the next month, in addition to the game update, will be building our player base. We'll be working hard to get the news out there. We really appreciate everyone who has brought in players to check out the game and build this small but growing community. Community Games are the highlight of our week and we love watching people have fun playing Trust no Bunny. If you have any friends who you _haven't_ beaten over the head with a copy of TNB, remember we have a refer a friend system now!Fixing a corrupted Mac buildJun 15, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsFixing a corrupted Mac buildUpdate June 15, 2023Jun 15, 2023 - Community Announcements- Improved clarity for resolution screen - Players now earn 200 Pixie Dust for referring friends!Small bug fixesMay 29, 2023 - Community Announcements- Naive now appears in Renown - Werebunny's no longer have their chat randomly toggling between town and werebunny chatChatGPT Bot Now Available!May 22, 2023 - Community AnnouncementsPlayers can now add Pike to their lobby, a bot powered by ChatGTP.
