And you can find which trait of Ego was experienced in Detailed information screen. Experience all ego and make the most effective Ego to climb the Tower! If you fight well, enemies become more strong and tough. But don’t worry! Eventually all enemies in The Tower need to follow Rule of The Tower. Understand Rules and react wisely. No one can stop you. I'm very happy to finally release the new update. Interestingly, it's been about two years since we started developing The Tower of Worth with this update. The Tower of Worth was my first Steam launch game and there were a lot of deficiencies. This update is not just about adding new features, it's about fixing a variety of deficiencies and making the game even more exciting. Thank you! Hellow, long time no see! The Tower of Worth is already released in early May. But sadly Game's reaction is not so good. Maybe just abandoning game could be good choice. Nevertheless, It's really small, but there are someone who enjoy and playing this game, and I still think The Tower of Worth have possibility. So I decide to enhance and rework The Tower of Worth. After release The Tower of Worth, I kept consider about what will need to make game more interesting and exciting. As a result, I made the plan to solve problem of The Tower of Worth and improve key features. Some contracts are easy to solve but some is very difficult and dangerous. Of course, the more difficult the contract is, the more rewards and worth it offers. Rewards have various special abilities that help game play. One of the problem in The Tower of Worth was boring repeating game play in early stage. In one stage, the only thing player have to do is just defeating enemies and go up forward and game changing factor ,like weapon or ego, is hard to give variety in early stage. Contract ,new content of this update, will suggest various handicap and condition to game play and if success contract, it provide various rewards. I expect this new content will give refresh and newly experience to game play. Ego Improvement The Tower of Worth is EgoChanging roguelike game. Player experience and understand challenger's changing ego and need to use ego trait efficiently to defeats tower's danger. This part is one of the most important feature of The Tower of Worth, Origin of the game. Player will always be able to search unlocked ego's trait in ego information screen and check which trait is unlockable. And next, I'll change some ego's unlock condition and changing factor for ego's character and purpose. As a last, I'll add some more trait and fix some status for detail ego changing. Normal Enemies system change. Execute system change and Status EXP add. Room clear action add. Challenger provoke system add. In previous version, Only 2,3 enemies spawned in one room and if number of enemies increase, battle was become too difficult. A small number of enemies make game boring and lack of exciting. With this update, Now most of enemies take stun by most of attack and react slowly against player. But execute all enemies in short time was not easy work and new enemies spawned from it was not so meaningful and just annoying. With this update, no more additional enemy from time pass and corpse do not disappear by time. And by executing enemies, you can get Status EXP. -Status EXP In previous version, player's status increasing is only enable from end point of floor. This system made hard to feel player's challenger is growing. Status EXP getting from execution is another system of status increasing. I've add some system and plan to add more system. but The Tower of Worth's most important feature is Ego Changing. In this update, Add Alteration of Ego Description UI. It explain player to what is Alteration of Ego and what player can do. Now, Most of Skills have its own special effect or other parameter changing added. -Special Ability Description You can get special ability when you execute Boss class enemies. But in previous version, There are no description about special ability. It's not my intend and so I modify some content. - some enemy's hp decreased even first stage, some enemies have too many hp(although it's strong enemy) so I slightly down enemy's hp. - vivid stamina low effect make stamina low effect more easy to notice and vivid. - boss damage buff decrease originally when boss's hp become low, his attack power increased. now still his attack power increase but not too high. (maybe more long if I add initial game design time!) The Tower of Worth is my first game to release. There have been several developments, but they've always been interrupted.ːsteamfacepalmː When I first started developing it, I never imagined that I'd be able to release a game like this. For the first time, I've post article, upload video, register game on steam And I got feedback from someone who was interested in my game! Nevertheless Studio is a one-man developer. Making a game alone was lonely and hard. Nevertheless, I was able to come all the way here without giving up thanks to people who were interested in and watching on The Tower of Worth!
