Sail opening issues on some costume ships have been resolved. Speed inconsistency between pirate and merchant ship types when using costumes has been fixed. The costume now adopts the speed of the ship it's equipped on. UI Some UI elements added in the last update no longer shift with different HUD scales. Channel information has been added to the watch button for clan wars. Action Coin & Item Issues The issue where Action Coin purchases sometimes cost more than shown has been resolved. The “Comfortable Chair” item can now be placed properly for affected players. Clan Wars Clan war interval has been reduced from once per hour to once every 30 minutes. Additional measures were implemented to prevent spectator entry into the battlefield. Spectator mode is reactivated. Issues with pull and knockdown abilities not working during clan wars have been fixed. Special frames have been added to clan banners for those who receive rewards in the final phase of clan wars. Clan Quests The issue where each delivery in sea trade quests counted as 1 regardless of package count has been fixed. The required amount for land and monster hunting quests has been reduced. Dungeon treasure collection is now properly counted in clan quests. Resource gathering counts in hunting-related clan quests now register correctly. Gameplay and Quest Adjustments Increased the chance of obtaining valuable equipment from Production Workbenches (+60%), Dungeon Bosses (+60%), World Bosses (+60%), Dungeon Treasure Rooms (+90%), and Normal Treasure Rooms (+130%). Fixed naming errors in the chain skills of the Meteor Strike skill on Staff weapons. Prevented the arena flag from being moved to unreachable locations. The flag now returns to the center when entering a safe zone. Gathering profession EXP gain from allied ships is now disabled. This update contains various fixes and gives a preview of what's coming next. Connection and Server Improvements Significant improvements have been made to connection issues. A scalable new server infrastructure has been completed. Server capacities have been significantly increased. Locked channels can now be activated and new channels can be added as needed. Each channel increases capacity while allowing players to play on the same server. Fixed an issue where characters would not be in their previous location when reconnecting after disconnecting from Arena battles or dungeons. Gameplay and Mechanics Updates Dungeon daily point increase raised to 300. Automatic chat language detection reactivated. Shared gatherable resources between channels are now channel-specific. Previously, a tree cut down in one channel was also cut down in another. Ships are now limited to a maximum of 5 pieces for chanels while in the water. Previously it was limited to 5 total. Also, ships will no longer appear in your list in different channels while on the water, but may appear in other channels when they are towed to port. Fixed an issue where ship capt...The Quinfall - Update Notes (05.03.2025)Mar 5, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsServer and Performance Improvements Server performance improvements were made for large-scale multiplayer environments. Infrastructure enhancements were specifically applied to the European server. Improvements were made to address the "Server not responding 01" error caused by weak connections or sudden connection fluctuations. Fixes were applied to resolve the AppSign error and the issue where the "AntiCheat Loading" screen would not close upon game entry. An AI-supported control system has been added to the in-game chat and PM system to filter out messages containing coin sales, advertisements, or offensive language. Since all messages in General Chat and PM are now filtered through the AI system, they will be delivered with an average delay of 1-2 seconds. Combat and Skill Balancing The EXP rates in Party monster zones have been significantly increased. Additionally, their movement speed has been increased by 25%. The strength and drop rates of Party monsters on islands have also been adjusted accordingly. Magic AP attacks can now deal damage to structures. Fixed an issue where Staff/LifeStaff skills sometimes failed to deal damage due to server-side protections. The issue where using the Invisible Strike dagger skill caused bosses to drop their aggro on the character has been resolved. Skill stones now deplete based on the number of skill uses rather than the amount of damage dealt. Gameplay and User Experience Improvements The mount summon cooldown is now reset when using a skill. Improvements were made to the Q shortcut command, which allows automatic running, mount control, and ship steering, ensuring it does not interfere with certain combat situations. The command will no longer be canceled during UI interactions or chat usage. The daily quest requiring horse feeding can now also be completed by feeding pets. Fixed an issue where secondary characters could not properly mount or appeared underneath their mounts. Friend List and Block List capacities have been increased to 200/200. Fixed a bug where sending a friend request to a non-friend player resulted in a message stating the player was already on the list. Also, fixed an issue where the Friend List sometimes failed to display. Fixed an issue preventing clan officers (below the clan leader) from kicking regular members from the clan. The Quinfall - Transparency Announcement (01.03.2025)Feb 28, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsDear Players, First and foremost, we acknowledge that the past few weeks have been challenging for all of us. We are aware that the technical issues, cheating problems, and delayed updates have shaken your trust in us. With this in mind, we want to be completely transparent with you and share the challenges we’ve faced, the actions we’ve taken, and our plans moving forward. When we first implemented our anti-cheat system, we believed we could quickly and effectively address known issues. We engaged with reputable companies to find the best solution, but we soon realized that developing a strong and permanent anti-cheat system would take longer than expected. As a result, after extensive discussions and planning, we have reached an agreement with XIGNCODE3. With this new anti-cheat system, cheat detection will be much faster and more efficient. Thanks to your reports, we are committed to making Quinfall a fair and cheat-free gaming environment. At the same time, we acknowledge that our response to in-game bugs and technical issues has been slower than anticipated due to our team’s limited resources. We understand that our inability to release updates at the pace we initially intended has disappointed many of you. However, despite all these challenges, we have been working hard to resolve these issues and improve the overall game experience. Since the beginning of the Early Access period, we have made significant progress in stabilizing our servers, and while things are in better shape now, we will continue to work on further improvements. Players who have been caught using cheats have been punished, and our detection efforts are ongoing. With our new anti-cheat system in place, we are taking stronger security measures and will continue to improve in a professional and structured manner. We also recognize the disappointment caused by the dupe/coin issues over the past few weeks. Based on your feedback, we have decided to apply a rollback system when critical violations occur, even in the full release of the game. This will help minimize potential losses and maintain the integrity of the game’s economy. Additionally, we want to clarify our stance on wipes. At this time, our current plan is to avoid a full wipe at the end of Early Access, unless a severe technical issue arises. During this time, the servers will be temporarily unavailable as we implement updates and improvements. General Changes The portal providing access to the forbidden swamp area has been removed. Material decay requirements in altars and ships have been halved. Ship decay system now only applies to interior objects. Ship hull decay has been removed. Ships can now be repaired and recalled at the harbor after being destroyed. If a caravan package is on board at the time of destruction, it will drop into the water. No other ship contents will be lost. Ship production requirements have been increased. Party System Updates Party Weapon EXP/Pet EXP will now be evenly distributed among party members instead of being granted to the player landing the final hit. Party Drop system now randomly selects a party member to receive the loot instead of the player delivering the final blow. Party EXP/Random Drop gains are now limited to a 150-meter radius. Bug Fixes Fixed an issue where cloth pieces on armor and costumes were invisible in close-up camera angles. Fixed an issue where required materials for clan altar upgrades would not appear in certain situations. Daily rewards will no longer reset when a day is missed. Anti-Cheat Measures Additional server-side measures have been implemented to detect and prevent identified cheats. Continued development on client-side anti-cheat solutions is ongoing. New Storage System An External Storage system has been added to storage NPCs for special event rewards and specific system items. Items placed in External Storage by the system can be transferred to the inventory or regular storage, but players cannot manually place items into External Storage. Server Mergers Europe 2 / America 2 / Asia 2 servers have been merged into their respective regional servers. Exceptions: Character Name Conflicts: Both characters with the same name have been granted a name change option. Altar Conflicts: All materials used and all structures/items within conflicting altar areas have been transferred to the External Storage system. This applies to both individual and clan altars. Storage Merges: If two storage units from the same player were merged and exceeded capacity, excess items were transferred to the Individual External Storage. Character Slot Adjustments: When merging characters from different accounts of the same player, additional character slots were provided to accommodate the total number of merged characters. Lately, there has been a lot of misinformation and misconceptions about our game. To ensure transparency, we’ve accepted interview requests from a few content creators so more people can hear directly from us. As we say in Turkish, "Listen to the wolf, but also to the lamb." it’s important to hear both sides before making a judgment. Vawraek Technology started in early 2020 as a small indie studio. Back then, we worked on a different MMORPG project, Kayra Online, which was always a small-scale game. There’s been a lot of confusion about its closure, so let’s be clear: Kayra Online didn’t shut down while it still had a big player base. In its last four months, the player count dropped to around 50-100 active users, and the server costs outweighed what the game could sustain. We made the difficult decision to close it down, informing players two months in advance so they had time to say their goodbyes. Quinfall, on the other hand, is a completely different project, built from scratch by a new team. Even though we are still a small core group of 10 people, we have poured everything into creating this world. When we first shared Quinfall, we never expected such a massive reaction. As excitement grew, our small indie dream turned into something much bigger. That said, we know there have been misunderstandings along the way. Language barriers and being a Turkish studio sometimes made it harder for us to communicate our vision properly. But at its heart, Quinfall is a passion project, built by MMORPG players for MMORPG players. One of the most common questions we get is about Kickstarter. We chose not to go that route because, over the years, we’ve seen too many projects fail to deliver on their promises. While the process has taken a bit longer than anticipated due to licensing and discussions with various firms, we’ve now set the latest completion date for February 10th. However, we may be able to roll out the anti-cheat system sooner after performing some final checks and tests. In the meantime, we’ve gathered feedback from many of you regarding certain adjustments. Specifically, some issues were identified around the drop rates of materials from monsters and the production process on the Lifeskill side. To address this, we’ve made several adjustments to the item drops from monsters. Regarding the server-side capacity, we’ve made significant progress, but we’re not quite there yet. While some servers are more stable, we are still working to resolve occasional issues on others. Rest assured, we’ll continue fixing and improving this as we move forward. Here are the latest updates in their respective categories: Gameplay Adjustments: Build System: Fixed an issue where players were unable to place or remove parts in certain situations. Two-Handed Sword: Fixed an issue where the Ground Smash ability also knocked down friendly players. Crossbow: Fixed the Pushback Bolt ability to no longer deal more damage than intended. Life Staff: Fixed the issue where Healing Ground and Team Health abilities were not affected by the healing skill stone.
