We want to thank everyone for their love and support for the game, we heard you all loud and clear - so we have some fixes and changes for you. Progression: - Fixed an issue with the Break Through quest getting blocked if the player had made an essence with the Acidic property before the appropriate objective appeared. - Fixed an issue with the Inelmo's Playground quest getting blocked if the player has talked with Wrae during the Playground's construction. NOTE: The fixes above are retroactive, which means that loading a save affected by any of those two issues should progress the game properly. - Fixed an issue with the Cultivation Problem quest progressing after destroying the wrong instance of Fulminalith Outcrop. Encyclopedia: - Added 'Any' icon to Properties, which indicates that X amount of Tiles needed to obtain a Property can belong to any Family (be of any colour). Economy: - Lowered Insight costs of constructing Furniture. Movement: - Slightly reworked the movement system which should result in The Alchemist not getting stuck in the environment. Machines/Furniture: - Reworked the structures' placement system so the objects can now be placed closer to walls and each other. If you've seen our previous post you now know how to gather materials, so we're going to show you what comes next in The Last Alchemist! We won't give too much away, you should still encounter surprises and fun puzzles along the way as well as additional tools and activities, but we are going to show you some basics! Say, one day, you're walking around the beautiful mountains and this stubborn pile of rocks is in your way - you will need a formula that will break down this blocker to your path! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42847124/34fb02317c0e48846ff70f1c52bf44d1569061f3.jpg This is where your machines and tools come into play. For instance, some constructions can help you break down the materials you gather into essences or help you forge new essences and you can use tools like the sprayer to spray these and help you break the rocks. To build new constructions you'll need to gather the right resources and then place a blueprint - once all the ingredients are in place you must wait for the construction to finish and then 🎉 you have a new machine! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42847124/a35dcdb322927543bb15fe9bd2c4faf597a1b42a.gif In this case, using the grinder you just built, you can extract the essence from materials you've gathered and then with the fusion machine you can create a new, fused essence that has the quality of both materials to help you break down the stone. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42847124/7ed21f9d5f8d5abe189a5768d263141664f4c12f.gif Once you have the essence you need, you must now find away to get this all over the pesky rocks! However your eyes and hands aren't what they used to be and tools may be too difficult for you to construct now, but have no fear - Hapalo is here to help! We're continuing the series of sneak peeks with a little look at exploration in The Last Alchemist! When you arrive at the Observatory after your years of travel and studies you'll find it a bit.. different than what you may remember. Some areas are in need of some love and might have even become inaccessible due to passage of time. Among other items the following have been updated: The camera and movement have been improved - please also have a look in the options for the sliders that will help you create your perfect experience; A quick sell feature is available - you can use E to sell items from inventory, in addition to the drag and drop option; An autofill feature is available - you can use E to fill slots automatically, in addition to the drag and drop option; Some of the objectives have been re-worked so they are easier to follow; An introduction was added and the tutorial has been re-worked; Additional visual cues have been added to help with the display of the time system and your energy; The time and length of monologues displayed has been optimized; Steam Cloud saves have been added; And a few other UI/UX changes, lighting, animation and VFXs have been added or updated as well as bug fixes, performance optimisation updates and improvements have been made!
