Game too difficult? Thoughts welcome :)Aug 11, 2019 - Community AnnouncementsI have stood by my stance of keeping the game at the difficulty it is, that being it is hard for some and easy for others. However I’ve recently looked back on it, and while I am proud with many things, I do see ways that the puzzles, maps, and even the story could be refined. I’m specifically worried about the story since it’s the whole reason I made the game. I’d like to come back and fix it, but I don’t know when or if I’ll have the time, but perhaps sometime it’ll happen. ☺️ Meanwhile feel free to leave your thoughts for fun.Look For New Lower Price! First off, I'd like to thank everyone who's played my game so far, apologies for the slew of fixes I had to make during the initial release. I added a video clip at the end so the gameplay shouldn't be altered all that much. Unfortunately, I've been so busy lately, I don't know if I shall ever find the time to release the animated version I so wanted to release ever since I started this project. With that in mind, I've decided to lower the price of the game. It should change to $5.99 as soon as Steam approves the change. I hope those who bought the game before did so during sales (Most of my revenue came in during those times and the price was the same), if not I'm sorry you did not get this at a lower price. It's been pretty crazy on the other side so I haven't really had a chance to get back to this. If I do end up adding the animation, the price will remain the same.Look For New Lower Price! I simplified some of the gameplay in the final area as well as taking further precautions to ensure the player doesn't get "trapped". Additional information is added and more detailed clues can be found within the secret library near the end. The sheep's request has been simplified to ensure success and some areas have been made less dark. I think further simplification at this point would make the game too easy so I hope to avoid that. I will also post a walkthrough soon now that I'm confident this is my final change to the gameplay. 9/28/2017 Update. Easier/Simpler Game-play. If you have a save file in certain areas, they may be affected. I'm sorry I can't do anything about it but I promise to release a detailed walkthrough soon. "The Hunt" should automatically update the next time you open it. Your save files should still be available and shouldn't be affected by this update. With any luck, there won't be any more nasty glitches hiding in the game, but again, if there are do not hesitate to let us know and we will have them fixed within a 24-hour period. P.S. For those who have a save file in the Five Trees area, the deer may repeat the falling animation even though he's standing next to the fox. Don't worry about it, this is just a side effect of the update. Once you make a new save, this will go away.GLITCHES FIXED!!!! I mimicked his gameplay process the way it was described to me and got the same result. However, I myself was able to exit out of the game completely, re-open it, and the error was no longer present. My advice, don't use the F12 key to make screenshots. I know you can make a screenshot with the windows key + PrtSc button. If any other errors come up, please alert me.F12 WARNING!
