Thanks! 1.2.0 - Steam Notifications, Easy AIFeb 16, 2017 - Community AnnouncementsVersion 1.2 went live today with a couple of major changes: Steam Notifications and an easy AI setting. When you start the game next time (or for the first time) Steam will ask you to enable notifications and if you allow these you will be notified every time someone takes a turn in online matches. We know the current interface is a bit lacking in keeping track of open and on-going matches and we are working on an improved UI as well but that will come in a later update. For now this should enable you to have a few matches on the go at any time and take new turns whenever it suits you. If you leave the match open any new turns will show up automatically so still fine to play out a match in one sitting if both players are online too. The new easy AI should help new players understand the game a bit better without being too aggressive, but it will still go for your base if it sees an opportunity so make sure you keep the spaces next to your own base free and try to occupy the spaces next to the city as often as you can to threaten the AI. For experiences players we're also working on a hard AI as the normal one can be a bit formulaic at the moment. Enjoy and let us know of any bugs or suggestions in the comments!1.2.0 - Steam Notifications, Easy AIFeb 16, 2017 - Community AnnouncementsVersion 1.2 went live today with a couple of major changes: Steam Notifications and an easy AI setting. This applies for people who already bought Sector 219 as well and since Doomstar is currently on a lunch sale this basically means anyone who already own Sector 219 can snag it up for almost 50% off. Store page Doomstar is a digital board game that plays a bit like Stratego but with other units and a different board which means it is much more fluid and shorter. It is quite a bit meatier than Sector 219 with fleet customisations and a little single-player campaign as well so if you enjoyed Sector 219 at all you will love this one. Let us know what you think if you pick it up! We tried to make it so anyone who already had an account registered will be automatically get their account linked to their Steam login but please let us know if you experience any issues. Playing an human opponent is really recommended as the tactics you will have to use will change a lot compared to playing the AI who is pretty predictable at the moment. We're still looking at improving the AI and maybe add some different "personalities" to how it plays but for now the main focus is on online and hopefully we can enable Steam notifications next. We are also well aware that people who never played The Battle for Hill 218 (or who are new to this sort of game in general) have had a hard time getting to grips with the rules and have added a new in-game tutorial/manual which is available either from the main menu or from the settings menu at any time when playing a game. The manual goes through all the basics of supply, attack and support fire and also illustrates how some of the special units operate. Any questions or problems please let us know. Reviews are also super appreciated!1.1.0 - Steam login, In-game manual, Updated UI and bug fixesJun 13, 2016 - Community AnnouncementsVersion 1.1 went live today which among other things feature a new improved game UI plus Steam logins so you don't have to register an account or log in manually any longer.
