The team is hard at work getting all the awesome new features coming in the next patch ready for you. Not sure what we’re talking about? Don’t forget to check out our Living Roadmap to see what’s on the horizon! While we wait, let’s talk Tems. Specifically, let’s take a look at one of the beefiest tanks currently stomping around in Temtem: Swarm, our shiny-shelled friend, Crystle, and its evolutions, Sherald and Tortenite. Crystle 101 {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/4ba774146958a1c77efecc7782f0063fc635ce70.png Crystle isn’t just a beginner Tem anymore. In Swarm, Crystle’s passive toughness becomes a full-on playstyle. Early on, it's your frontline wall, soaking up hits, anchoring your team, and generally refusing to die. It’s the type of Tem you want by your side when things get spicy. Let's Talk Techs The Crystle line pulls double duty in Swarm, tapping into both Crystal and Toxic technique pools. That means you’re not just tough, you’re tricky. Whether you’re slicing through enemies with razor-sharp crystal attacks or leaving behind toxic pools of chaos, this Tem line is all about holding the line and punishing overreach. Let’s break down what they bring to the battlefield. Crystal Techniques Glass Blade: A sharp horizontal strike—quick and clean. Quartz Shield: A protective barrier that turns taking damage into a boost in armor. Crystal Spikes: Random AoE burst to zone or punish clusters. Mineral Hail: Rains down pain over a wide area. Great for crowd control. https://i.imgur.com/bcrbE9c.gif Toxic Techniques Toxic Waste: Leaves behind a trail of gooey poison. Great for kiting. Toxic Ink: Splat attack that sticks and poisons. Pollution: A toxic breath attack that poisons in an arc and can be manually aimed. Noxious Bomb: Drops heavy, explodes hard. Satisfying and effective. Venom Spread: If your target is already poisoned, this projectile detonates for AoE chaos. https://i.imgur.com/MnPOJdJ.gif What about that Ultimate? Crystle’s ultimate technique is absolutely terrifying. It plants a massive crystalline garden across the battlefield. Any enemies caught in the crystal bloom are Doomed, literally. They’ve got a timer on their heads, and when it hits zero, it’s game over. And here’s the kicker: Crystle heals for each enemy taken out by the Doom. It’s the gift that keeps on giving (and decimating the Swarm). https://i.imgur.com/f88Sfis.gif Whether you’re queuing up with friends or fighting the swarm solo, Crystle’s line is a great backbone for any team. Early on, Crystle helps you survive tight corners. Midgame, Sherald adds tactical depth and zoning potential. And when you finally evolve into Tortenite? You become a walking win condition. Pair them with fast poisoners or support Tems who can buff or heal, and you’ve got a squad that just won’t quit. How do you play with Crystle? Let us know in the comments! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2510960/Temtem_Swarm/?utm_source=post&utm_campaign=evergreen&utm_medium=steam See you in the Swar...Temtem: Swarm and Asgard’s Fall - Viking Survivors Team Up for New Bundle – 10%Apr 9, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHey Tamers! We're once again asking for your feedback on Temtem: Swarm! This time on the currently available playable Temtem. All you have to do is fill in this Google form before April 18th! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/d5b88635f73efb81f475b16b3a123fbe2e82875d.png We want to use this information to make future balance changes and detect any glaring issue that we might not have caught. And while you can always share your thoughts on Temtem on our forums, we'd love for you to fill out this form as well so we can get a global image involving as many players as possible. Do both, if that suits you best! Thank you so much for helping us make Temtem: Swarm better! ːtemloveːNew update in our Living Roadmap! Catch a glimpse of the future of Temtem: SwarmApr 3, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello, Tamers! How's the swarm-decimating going? We hope you've been enjoying patch 0.6, Zephyruff, Kinu and Omninesia! While we simmer in all the recent additions and improvements, let's place our eyes on the future for a moment, shall we? Although we're still hard at work correcting issues and pushing out fixes on 0.6.4, we never stop working on the next step in Temtem: Swarm! You might still remember the first instance of our living roadmap, which we shared close to our launch. This time, and with the first big content update live for all of you to play and enjoy, we're ready to show you the updated version of the roadmap! It covers some of the more substantial changes coming in the next big content update, 0.7! Please be aware that, while we're posting it and it is totally official, everything here is still subject to change, be replaced or be rescheduled. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/1d05eea6b4a8fc89b467d21f71446f815e1f4000.jpg If you're familiar with us and our future plans, you know we don't include any sort of dates, and we try to keep things open to possible changes. We're all too familiar with wanting to include a super neat idea halfway in, and we also know issues can arise in the dev process, be it technical or human. But if you're familiar with our vibes, you know there'll be many spoilers as the time gets closer! For now, what do you think about the title of patch 0.7? Endless Inferno It seems like things are heating up around here! What Arena do you think we'll unveil in this patch, and which Temtem will be its main character? Let us know your guesses in the comments! Of course, we're also adding new Techniques, Synergies and Gears, but that's not all! We're working hard on some community-requested features (you can spot them thanks to the little 👥 icon!) like clarity improvements to matchmaking, reworks to some Synergies that aren't feeling all that bopping right now, and one of the biggest issues our players face nowadays: the RNG in the perk pools. But we've been doing work on our side too, and we're developing the first step in the Challenge Modes, with more modes and improvements added in further patches, as well as a totally new ping system to help you play co-op more cooperatively, flashy new cinematics for pivotal moments in the run, and new Kudos and achievements! Remember Temtem: Swarm is still in Early Access, and as such, open to your feedback and suggestions! Please let us know in our Discord server, although please search around first to see if someone has proposed the same thing. We do our best to read everything, even though we cannot reply to the majority of it, and it helps us shape Temtem: Swarm into a fantastic game. Thank you for your energy and help! We hope you'll continue to enjoy Temtem: Swarm and support it as we progress in its development and get closer to a bombastic game. Until then, see you soon Tamers, and… Temtem Up! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/a3e869301b89dc77ace67219038980f178f4dc88.pngMeet Kinu: The newly-arrived Fairy Godparent in Temtem: Swarm!Mar 26, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello, Tamers! Patch 0.6 launched at the start of the month, and we can now safely talk about it without spoiling anybody! Get ready to know more about Kinu, the forest protector that will keep you and your team safe and sound! Kinu 101 https://i.imgur.com/F69qOh5.png Let's Talk Moves Kinu’s playstyle is all about helping others around it, and itself, by keeping the Swarm controlled and under wraps and the health bars topped up. Albeit squishy, every time it revives it becomes more durable by increasing its Max HP, so you can be a bit daring even despite its fragility. With Kinu’s introduction into the game, that also brought a slew of Nature techniques, so let’s dive into those: Resin Trap A gooey nightmare for enemies where Kinu scatters resin that deals damage and locks the swarm in place, making them an easier target for Kinu and its allies. Not the kind of sticky situation they were hoping for! https://i.imgur.com/vmAPRRQ.gif Roots A tangle of trouble! These creeping roots slow down enemies and deal constant damage. Kinu’s way of saying, “Take it easy... or else.” https://i.imgur.com/GwGFYZ1.gif Revitalize Kinu’s signature support move! A healing zone that restores health to both Kinu and any allies inside. Because teamwork makes the dream work. Don’t miss out on its powerful synergy that knocks enemies out of the healing area, giving you and your teammates some respite. https://i.imgur.com/vZgAjeN.gif Sharp Leaf When healing isn’t enough, Kinu hurls a razor-sharp leaf at enemies. Remember, never underestimate the dangers of Nature! https://i.imgur.com/LLrDu2k.gif Being a dual type Tem, Kinu has access to techniques from the Mental side of things. So, it can also be a pure powerhouse of damage using techniques like Ignis Fatuus and Psy Wave. What about that Ultimate? The ultimate gamble, and the move that really drives Kinu’s playstyle home, Vital Power! Kinu sacrifices most of its own health, dropping to 15%, but in return, it unleashes a devastating blast that hits everything in sight. Risky? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Plan carefully, as with great power comes great responsibility. https://i.imgur.com/mRO2F5n.gif We hope we piqued your interest towards this particular forest guardian and its tremendous value against the Swarm! This is all we’re sharing about Kinu today, but we definitely encourage you to take Nature into your own hands by choosing Kinu in your next Temtem: Swarm match. Will you be your teammates’ angle, or the Swarm’s devil? See you next time when we crack open the Temtem vault and unleash another awesome Tem for you to master in Temtem: Swarm! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2510960/Temtem_Swarm/?utm_source=post&utm_campaign=evergreen&utm_medium=steam As always… Temtem Up! Bug Fixes 👥Fixed Revitalize+ Kudo not tracking correctly. Fixed Revitalize Kudo not being configured with the correct healing amount. 👥Fixed Kinu not getting access to some Skill Tree nodes even after completing the right Kudo for it. Fixed Chimurian appearing alone instead of in a three-pack in Saipark. Fixed one Saipark configuration having two Gyalis bosses. 👥Fixed some bosses' techniques from Oceara and Aohi always aiming north. 👥Fixed Asteroid Belt disappearing into the ground after evolving Smazee. Fixed Tornado+ having only one projectile. 👥Fixed Pollution always aiming north, instead if being an aimed Technique as it should be. Fixed an underlying issue that could cause lag or performance problems when playing multiple runs in the same session. Fixes, features, and improvements marked with the 👥 icon are originally suggested, inspired by, or reported by our community in our Discord server, Steam Forums and subreddit. Patch 0.6.2Mar 17, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsNew Stuff 👥We have increased the total number of Blocks and Rerolls you can have through the Skill Tree. We've added one more level to these two Nodes, meaning you can now get one more Block and one more Reroll per match if you level these nodes up. We plan to keep increasing Blocks and Rerolls in the future as we continue adding new content to the game, so finding the right pieces for your build doesn't get harder with more content. We're aware of the concerns surrounding the diluting of the pool as we add, and players unlock, new perks. We've got a couple of improvements for it that will be included in patch 0.7, but in the meantime we believe increasing Blocks and Rerolls definitely helps. 👥You can now select if you want to create a public or private lobby right from the Lobby creation screen. You will still be able to change the nature of the lobby using the checkbox, but this should give you even more control when creating lobbies. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/662be32fa136e5209cb7639e345bcac418a7b394.jpg We've added a new setting option: Show player HUD You can turn it on and off from the Settings menu. We've added a new setting option: Show game status HUD You can turn it on and off from the Settings menu.  Improvements 👥We've added varying percentages of armor to Eggs: This will make the Egg more resistant and durable across all maps, but the Eggs will have different armor percentages depending on the map. Harder maps or maps that are completed later down the row will have a more protected and resistant Eggs to combat the increase in difficulty. We've adjusted the way the Pansuns and exp magnets work: Instead of pulling in all the pieces scattered across the map onto your character all at once, we've now set a speed for pieces that will take into account how far from you they are. This way you will first receive the ones closer to you, and so on, as in a scale. We've adjusted the description of Traits and Ultimate Techniques so it shows a dynamic number calculated taking into account the upgrades on the Skill Tree We've adjusted the way upgrades to Techs and Gears appear when you receive them from a reward chest. It will no longer show the description for said Gear or Tech. Instead, it'll display only the stat changes that are taking place with the upgrade. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/37a14d9cfeab45582a26cea19d89d96ce2cca1d1.png We've adjusted the speed at which your Temtem stops after picking up a Glitch so it's more immediate. We've placed the marker for your co-op parners at the front of the markers so it can never be covered by any other marker. We've removed the block and reroll option once your build is completed and you start getting offered fruit and Pansuns. We've slightly delayed the appearance of the UIs for level up and reward chests until all the visual effects for Techniques or Spots have been completed. We've adjusted some world elements where players could get stuck. We've included the Steam Timeline feature in the game so y...Temtem: Swarm is 20% off for the Steam Spring Sale!Mar 14, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHi Tamers! We've gotten feedback that it was a bit chaotic trying to play with your friends and having random players enter the lobby.  Balance We've adjusted the Pansun rewards for the Boxes Galore and Mistery Box spots, which were a bit over the top.  Bug fixes 👥Fixed the sudden disconnections while playing co-op in Saipark and Omninesia, caused by enemies with the Teleporter or Shy behavior. 👥Fixed being unable to level up after hatching an egg in co-op. 👥Fixed getting the Dodge Racer spot automatically completed when playing co-op. 👥Fixed some Kudos that weren't working properly (using Kinu and Zephy's Ultimates, reviving x times in a match, and some more). We're aware some other Kudos have issues and will fix them in future hotfixes, apologies for the inconveniences. Fixed the spot Summoning Circle not working properly in the Saipark.  Important Notice We're aware that more issues have popped up, and some are already in our radar. We're commited to fix them as soon as possible and are investigating them. We're really grateful for your reports here, and sorry for the inconveniences these bugs might have caused you. Here's a list of known issues so you are well informed: Some guest players cannot properly see the circle in the Acid Rain spot when playing co-op. The Kudo to heal 10000 HP with Revitalize isn't working properly. You can get stuck on Omninesia while playing with Zephyruff. You're not getting the Pansun reward for skipping certain Glitches. Fixes, features, and improvements marked with the 👥 icon are originally suggested, inspired by, or reported by our community in our Discord server, Steam Forums and subreddit. Meet Zephyruff: The Speedy New Threat in Temtem: Swarm!Feb 27, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHey Tamers! Launch day for Patch 0.6 is just around the corner, and you know what that means - spoilers! Get ready to meet Zephyruff, the speedy floof that's joining the Temtem: Swarm roster. Zephyruff 101 https://i.imgur.com/d4pfxzb.png Let's Talk Moves Zephyruff's playstyle is all about speed. Their Trait converts a percentage of speed into damage, and you can increase that percentage through their Skill Tree. Zephyruff’s starting technique, Wind Trail, is the perfect move to take advantage of their need for speed. As you Speed Racer your way through the Swarm, any Tems that try to follow you will get hit with constant wind damage as they move through the trail. Here’s a sneak peek at Wind Trail: https://i.imgur.com/uP1wYZt.gif Zephyruff also gets access to all the Toxic and Wind techniques already in the game, which you can unlock by playing matches with Platypet, Pigepic, and Crystle. And in Patch 0.6, there's a new Toxic technique: Venom Spread! This new Toxic technique adds a whole new dimension to attacking the Swarm. The priority here is to make sure as many enemy Tems around you as possible have the poison status effect applied to them, so that when Venom Spread hits it causes a chain reaction of explosions and more instances of poisoned Tems. The more Tems that have the Poisoned status effect, the more likely you are to cover the screen in contaminated Tems. https://i.imgur.com/SpnPntF.gif New Techniques mean new Synergies, so don’t forget to discover what Gear pairs up perfectly with these new Techniques and unlocks their powerful Synergies! Not seeing the synergy option pop up? You know the drill by now - make sure to check the Skill trees and Kudos board to find out how to unlock them! What about that Ultimate? Zephyruff and Volarend's Ultimate, Wind Burst, takes their speed to the next level. Watch them dash through the swarm and leave a trail of defeated Tems in their wake! https://i.imgur.com/TrIITJM.gif Zephyruff and Volarend bring a whole new speed-based strategy to Temtem: Swarm. Whether you like fast assassins or controlling the battlefield with Wind and Poison, this duo is ready to shake things up. Are you ready to take Zephyruff for a spin when Patch 0.6 drops? Let us know what you think of these new moves! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2510960/Temtem_Swarm/?utm_source=post&utm_campaign=evergreen&utm_medium=steam See you in the Swarm, Tamers! Patch 0.6 to release on the first half of March!Feb 20, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello, Tamers! We have some news regarding the launch of patch 0.6 for Temtem: Swarm, which is a content update and not a polish one! Our goal is to release patch 0.6 in the first half of March, which means we're aiming at the first or second week! With all the new content and changes to major features in this patch, we want to be optimistic, but have to keep the possibility open for delays in case something unexpected happens during this final stage of testing, polishing and re-balancing. We're not planning to go any further than the month of March, though! We're, of course, working on a specific date, and as soon as we have it we'll provide it! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/dd1ea5a4042e985aed89c59d63ae15015f2ac1b4.jpg  Content update means new things! If you've been following around for a bit, you already know of two big things coming with patch 0.6: a new Arena, Omninesia, and random Matchmaking. With this new Arena you'll be able to enjoy two new playable Tems! We'll be spoiling one of them in the upcoming days, so I'd keep an eye out on our communication avenues if I were you. We're also trying out the new minimum match duration that you voted for, 20 minutes, so the experience is surely going to be different from what you've played so far! But there's something else we've come to share spoilers for today: Spots! Patch 0.6 comes with a handful of completely new spots, many of them suggested by the community itself! But beyond adding new Spots that players can enjoy, we've also reworked three of the old ones to make them more fun, more rewarding and/or more challenging, also following community feedback. Want to see a very relevant spot that got changed? Peep this:  The Swarm is getting closer, Tamers! We're already working on the bug-fixing and polishing stages of patch 0.6, and we're eager to conquer these feats and present you the newest level of Temtem Swarming. You're going to love it! Get your Skill Trees reviewed and gear up with your co-op mates, for Temtem: Swarm's next patch is coming next month! Temtem up, Tamers! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/e4751f14bcaf93c5c336c7278e8ecf4947e5d1d0.pngNew minimum match length: 20 minutes!Feb 13, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHi Tamers! We're here with the announcement that the minimum match length in Temtem: Swarm has been updated from 15 minutes to 20 minutes. Let's talk about it! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/124fb3976864ab4584a0b57fd63c0a4e150b4c8e.jpg A decision based on your feedback Ever since Temtem: Swarm launched in Early Access we've made it clear that we wanted to integrate your feedback into the game as often as possible, and that we were aware of how much fine-tuning a game in this genre requires. We're committed to it, and so we'd been paying attention to feedback provided by players that 15-minute matches were falling on the shorter side, ending just as players were feeling the rush of excitement from finished builds and OP strategies. However, we also had received many opinions on how good the 15-minute matches were, how refreshing compared to the genre standard of 30 minutes, and that it was perfect for a quick run before heading out. To that end, we conducted internal tests with matches that lasted 20 minutes to assess the situation, and we found it efficiently solved the feedback points raised that matches ended just as you were starting to really enjoy yourself. We consider match brevity a unique part of Temtem: Swarm, one that sets it apart from the rest of the genre, so we weren't considering 30-minute matches, but this middle ground felt like a great compromise between our ideas and the feedback we had received. However, since the topic was so important and would end up affecting every match played on Temtem: Swarm, we didn't think it was a decision we should make on our own. We extended the question to you through this Google Form (that has since stopped receiving answers, please don't try to vote now!) and shared it across all our communication avenues. You answered our call and responses poured in, up to 1.576 by the time we closed the poll on February 11th! You also gave us a lot of arguments, pros and cons of each decision, and we did our best to read them all. The result The result was that 64.4% of the Tamers who answered our call want to give the 20-minute matches a try, and we're ready to follow that and actually try it! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/d826b9b916801c522d360906af02509967077230.png With a change like this, some other pieces had to be adjusted as well. The first mini-bosses will appear at 5 and 10 minutes respectively, while the final boss of the arena will spawn at 20 minutes. The final boss is what marks the minimum duration of a match, since it has to be defeated for the match to conclude. The actual length of the match will depend on how long you take to defeat the boss, so we can only talk guarantee a minimum of 20 minutes. As for minute 15, we didn't want to leave it hanging because the run could end up feeling monotonous. We've decided to introduce special waves at minute 15 that change the flow of the game and alter the mood a little. Every arena has a different wave 15, so players can experience extra diversity between...Matchmaking in Temtem: Swarm — everything you need to know!Feb 5, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHelloooooo Tamers! After months of requests for it, we are glad to officially announce online Matchmaking is coming to Temtem: Swarm soon! We initially did not support, or consider including random matchmaking for two main reasons: it was a huge technical feat, or so it seemed. Work on it was tough, and it required a ton of effort on GGTech's and our side. Once on the task, we realized it was something we could manage and lead to fruition; the second reason, we didn't believe playing with other random players would be cooperative enough, and we feared it would lead to disgruntling situations. This, you'll have to tell us yourselves once you try it out in patch 0.6. All that said, after the overwhelming feedback we've received, we've decided to give it a try! That's what Early Access is all about after all: being able to make changes based on players' feedback. How is it going to work? Very simple! First, let's look at how it will work if you're the one creating the lobby:First you'll have to select whether you want your lobby to be public or private. It will be set to public by default, but you can simply untick the checkbox to make it private. The host of the match will still be the only one who can make changes to the lobby, like choosing a map or turning experience share on and off. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/298ecfda655c91cc29e96e48a1344e1f2ea826de.png If you'd rather play your match only with people you have invited or shared the code with, simply uncheck the box and invite your friends the traditional ways! If you have set the lobby to public, other players looking for a match will be added to your lobby automatically! The game prioritizes people who are close to you, and then broadens out the range as it goes. This system was set in place to ensure you have the best possible experience in terms of connection, and to minimize lag issues. The game will also try to match you with other players that have a similar level of experience to yours. This is measured by how many maps they have completed! If you're the one looking to play a quick match of Swarm with Strangers, you just have to choose to find a match instead of joining a lobby. The game, following the rules mentioned before, will match you with a fitting player who has a public lobby open! If you're looking to play with someone you know, or if you have been provided a code, choose join lobby and enter the code as you were doing before. If you end up changing your mind and prefer to pair up with unknown people, you can still choose to find a match on the same screen, instead of entering a code. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/494a40545ec8d17f1b45ed8e2f2a408e13790be8.jpg If you are, for whatever reason, kicked out of a lobby, you will not be matched into that lobby again. When!!!???!?!?! We've been working extra hard on this feature, since it was the most requested one by our players, and because we believe cooperative playing is really enjoyable, and want everyone to have every chance to e...Surprise!Jan 28, 2025 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44890008/5bdd157414f78d972af77a0b54d57c3d276c5919.jpg More info soon! ːswburnː
