Gray's Plus DLC and Aiden's Plus DLC are available! Gray's Plus DLC includes his extended epilogue, as well as a side story. Sadly, I didn't make it. I still need to write Aiden's side story before I can push out a new update for the game. Gray's side story is already finished at the very least. I didn't want to release Gray's DLC without Aiden's DLC as well. I will be aiming for early 2024 to have them both released! Again, all that's left is an Aiden side story to wrap up his full route and DLC. A lot of players mentioned that they enjoyed playing Aiden's route because they really liked the Chaos Chat interactions. They enjoyed how immersive it felt, and even if they didn't particularly liked Aiden himself, they enjoyed the chatting and interacting with friends. Moonstone Remix takes that concept and runs with it; it's a fully fledged chat simulation game. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/33749662/2b3894baf02fd9db5161dd7d1a5af42e784f8f3b.png You will end up playing a fake MMORPG (a game within a game!) where you will meet other players. You can party up with these players and eventually form friendships with them. You can then interact with them outside of the game through a chatting app called Chaos Chat. Here you can befriend or romance them - and even ask them to meet up with you in person! There will be 6 main characters to date from the start, but many more other secondary characters will be added as well. There will be a lot of character customization available, as I want the player to feel as immersed as possible. From your name, looks, gender, to the emojis you use in the chat. Everything is up to you. Gray's route opens with JOselina in her high school years, where she is the school's gang leader. Coincidentally she meets Gray from a rivaling school. While it's fully playable and all artwork is done, I am currently making Gray's route undergo some editing based on player feedback. As much as I wanted to release it in 2022, I think it's important to release a version that I'm satisfied with. This means some chapters will be slightly changed. When the editing is completed, Gray's route will be released on Steam for players to enjoy and play in full. Aiden {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/33749662/d9a8cb31c0027e76146101d707ff5006f78c801c.png Aiden's route was also being developed, though it went on a small hiatus so Gray's route could be completed. 24 chapters out of 28 are completely coded, so only 4 more to go. When Gray's route is released on Steam, Aiden's chapters 1 through 9 will be released alongside as well. This is because Aiden's route is a special case; you need the DLC to fully play his route. Why? Because after chapter 9, his route is full of 18+ content, that couldn't be released for free users. Aiden's route and DLC should be coming sometime in 2023. You can now purchase the Plus version of these characters: Neil Dimitri Caine What is Tailor Tales Plus? Tailor Tales Plus unlocks the adult content of the game, as well as any side stories for each character. The epilogue for each Plus character will have a scene containing sexual content, including the final CG for them. Some Plus characters have sexual content throughout the chapters, these are marked as "plus" in the chapter selection. As an extra perk, you can skip chapter requirements for ALL characters (even those you do not have the DLC for), though you can always turn this back on if you enjoy a challenge. What about other characters? You can access James' route by clicking the cogwheel for Settings, click Characters and select James. Here you can start a new route. James walkthrough James, just like any other character, requires important clients to be finished for specific chapters. If you need help figuring those out, you can view his walkthrough below: James Plus The last two CGs for James are Plus content only, so free users are not able to unlock those last two CGs. James' Plus will be available as DLC in the future, no ETA yet. Tailor Tales now has in-game achievements that grant you an outfit. You can wear these by going to Outfits and finding them in the appropriate categories. To view your achievements, click the Collection icon in the settings. Gray & Aiden The upcoming two routes, Gray and Aiden, are currently in development. You can try out their first chapter by rereading them in their chapter selection for a preview! Set in the 18th century, Eeyok's route deals with high society, magic and time traveling. Tailor Tales features routes with unique stories and settings, and Eeyok's route isn't any different. Technical support In the event you run into an error, such as a missing file, please validate your files before doing anything else. Sometimes the update doesn't complete 100% and Steam misses a file. You can fix this by finding Tailor Tales in your Steam library, right clicking it and selecting properties. This should render your current quick save file useless, so please make sure you load your manual save file when starting the game. You can always make a new quick save! What's been changed: - Deleting a piece of clothing no longer deletes the image on your hard drive, preventing any future issues with missing clothing files. - A warning will now display when attempting to load from a quick save file that is older than your manual save (this is your main save!), meaning you might lose progress if you continue to play from your quick save file. - Neil's gotten a new voice actor and his lines have been added, replacing the old VA! And that's it for the update! As for an update on James' route progress, I would estimate his script is about 85% finished, and playable chapters are currently sitting at 20 out of 28. Players who have completed a character route and gotten their achievements, but never got the above named achievement(s), they will have to manually unlock any achievements they may have missed out on. Please go to your main menu and click the cogwheel to open the settings. Click the gift button and enter the password "achievement" to unlock the achievements you got on Steam! This will only grant you the achievements you have legitimately unlocked, so it is not a cheat code of some sorts :) Sorry for the inconvenience! Go ahead and update your game, load your manual save file (your quick save file won't work, but it's okay, you can always create a new quick save!) and find Caine in the settings. Click on his profile and select "start new route" and you're on your way! For those curious, James' 1st chapter is available to be read as well. You can't start a new route with him, but you can reread his 1st chapter as it is unlocked for you. On March 25 the game will get updated with his full route, along with a load of improvements and bug fixes to the game. When this update happens, your quick save will become unusable, so please be sure to load your manual save. New quick saves can be made after this update. The tutorial from the intro has also been changed, so old users may run into a few tutorials here and there. Anyways, be on the lookout for Caine! He'll be there to steal your heart away. Early access was available to Patreons only. Which means that he'll be released for free in early 2020! For an exact date, be sure to follow on social media such as Twitter for any announcements. With Caine's route being completed, James' route has been underway. It is roughly one year per character, so you can expect a 2021 release for James. Patreons are already enjoying his 1st chapter. His script is about 80% finished, whereas his overall route with playable chapters is at 50% currently (only Patreon users can play him at the moment). We're halfway there! What is Caine's route like? Well, for one thing... he's a thief! And he might eventually steal your heart ;) I would say Caine's route is the steamiest of them all (Plus users will be able to experience some smut throughout the route), as he's just that kind of guy. People who like tsunderes, feisty redheads, and lots of blushing will enjoy his route. I'm aiming to finish his route this year, though when his route will get released on Steam/Itch is still TBA. Patreon users have been enjoying Caine's route already :) As for when Tailor Tales Plus will be available, it will most likely coincide with Caine's route release date. You can now see a checklist for clients, which will tell you what is correct and incorrect about your design. This way, you no longer have to wonder why the design isn't accepting, even though it looks identical. This also fixes a bug where, if you had selected a colour/pattern of an optional category such as a hemline, even though the hemline wasn't selected itself, then the design wouldn't accept it - despite looking identical to what the client wants. Neil and Dimitri's route are fully playable. To celebrate the release, there will be a bonus for early birds of the game. Go to your in-game Settings > Gift > type in the password "earlybird" to receive some extra gold and tailoring experience to start you off with! There is also a bonus preview of Caine's 1st chapter, for the curious ones. Simply go to Settings > Character > Caine > Story > Click his 1st chapter and select "reread".
