I'm excited to be able to offer this sneak peek of Super Rocket Ride--my collaboration with European developer Unruly Games--in advance of its release on October 16th. Super Rocket Ride is our attempt at mashing up classic lander style gameplay with platform games of the NES and SNES eras. It's truly a labour of love--we've been working on this in our spare time for the past year or so--and we're happy to be able to finally share it with the world! For the Steam Game Festival, we've prepared a demo that contains the first two worlds (16 levels). This should give you a pretty good idea of what the game is all about. If you enjoy a challenge then we're certain you'll especially like the rest of the game: the difficulty really ramps up in the final worlds. What is your stance on ? What's your credit card number? Super Rocket Ride is a collaboration between Cosmocat and Unruly Games. It can best be described as a cross between old school lander games and classic platformers of the SNES era: a simple control scheme, lush pixel art, and challenging levels fraught with obstacles and hazards.
