One weeks has passed since the release of Summertime Madness and it has been a really busy yet exciting week for us! There's a bunch of news, so let's go over check them out: Summer Sales : 15% discount until July 8th To celebrate the Summer Sales we decided to keep Summertime Madness on sale at a -15% discounted price! The game will remain at a discounted rate for another two weeks! If you haven't done it yet, this is a good chance to check it out :) Patch 1.2 is out! Patch 1.2 is now out and it includes some major and minor quality of life changes, which are: Final Puzzles Rework *SPOILER ALERT* {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38340145/4a235b0997215a39364da158abced571f0d46b02.jpg The Time Void has been completely reworked, introducing new elements to the game mechanics and, above all, completely removing the 15 minutes limitation. This initial choice turned out to be very unwelcome, especially from a those who (rightly) had arrived there with a lot of time available. Problem solved. Now you will have all the time you saved up to there, but ...watch out! I'm sure I heard a strange noise of something ticking and black holes somewhere.... The Twisted Corridor solution has also been reworked. It was way too cryptic and we saw very few players getting it. It is now reworked as well in a new cool fashion, which we hope will more fun (and smart) to play with. Memories From The Future Updates. Memories from the Future turned out to be a part of the game where players were too stressed. Among the most important adjustments we have solved an issue for which, after an eventual GAME OVER, the in game clock was no longer usable until a complete restart of the game. Problem is now solved. As final note, the DEMO of Summertime Madness has now been removed. A demo should be a showcase of what the full experience is, but there have been so many changes, improvements, major bug fix and complete level rework over the last 6 months to the point that this old DEMO is far below the quality of the full game. Once again, all of your feedbacks were really useful for us, and your suggestions are helping us to make Summertime Madness a better gaming experience day after day. We are excited about how things are going and we have carefully monitored all the initial feedback you had for us. For this reason, the first official patch is now live! Working on the development of our debut title was a fantastic yet challenging experience, full of ups and downs, moments when everything went smoothly and others when everything seemed lost. Working on our independent title was one of our biggest dreams, which we had to forge keeping in mind what was our experience, the tight schedule, the resources and the expectations that each of us had. It was exciting to see the game grow from a 5 minutes-prototype to a complete experience, filled by the feedback and support of the testers, friends and players who were indispensable in helping us keep the right direction. Sometimes we managed to do more than we could have hoped for. Other times we have had to compromise and accept our limits without them weighing on the players. It has been a fantastic journey overall. The player, in the role of a painter who has made a deal with the devil, has to find his way back to the real world after being cheated and trapped into one of his canvases. At the same time, the past year was perhaps one of the most important of my life, just as like a phoenix rising from its ashes, after years spent working in the video game industry as a formerly 3D artist, I finally had the opportunity to fulfill my dream of developing my own game. It was a challenge as difficult as exciting, working hard 24/7 to develop something as dreamlike as I had imagined it, with a small team of 3 who dedicated all their time, their efforts and their passion to help me get accomplish this achievement. After one year of development, the game is now almost completed, it looks better than ever and it is moving his last steps into the testings phase.
