Or follow us on twitter or Facebook for instant notifications wherever you are! *Offer ends Sunday at 10AM Pacific Time Resident Evil 4 and Remember Me added to Humble Capcom BundleOct 21, 2015 - PC GamerAs is their wont, the chaps behind the latest Humble 'Massive Publisher' Bundle have made it that bit sweeter, adding Resident Evil 4 and Remember Me to the Capcom Bundle, which was already tempting. You'll have to beat the average (currently $9.07) to net them both, alongside Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil Revelations and the excellent Devil May Cry reboot. Fork up $15 and you'll also get the Untold Stories DLC for RE5, plus Street Fighter 4. If none of those appeal, paying just $1 gets you Strider, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Lost Planet 3 and Bionic Commando Rearmed. Phew! I've lost count of the amount of games I've picked up in bundles that are gathering virtual dust in my steam library. Still, it's worth it for all the times I've had a random urge to play something and discovered I already own it. The port of RE5 was a massive improvement over the initial release of RE4, but this looks like 2014's improved HD re-release. If like me you've never actually played any of the games in the series, this seems like a good opportunity to jump in. Remember Me is also worth checking out: its time travel mechanics inspired the same team to make Life is Strange—the final episode of which came out yesterday. I love how everything about the humble bundles over the years has got less and less humble. It's kinda hard to be when last year you raised $50 million for charity alone, and goodness knows how much more since then given their relentless expansion. Not that I'm complaining: everyone seems to be winning. Humble Capcom Bundle nets you Strider for $1Oct 14, 2015 - PC GamerCapcom still has a pretty good hit rate, and that's why the latest Humble Bundle is so appealing. It discounts many of their recent hits including the DMC reboot, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and *cough* Resident Evil 5, offering them up for practically nothing. On top of that, the $1 tier is the best I've seen for ages. Chucking a single simoleon Humble's way will get you Strider, the first episode of Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, and Lost Planet 3, which isn't quite as bad as people like to make out. You might want to beat the average to get Resi Revelations 1, DmC, Resi 5 and some other, unannounced games. You might want to stump up $15 for Ultra SFIV and some Resi 5 DLC as well. And, if you're a repeat Humbler, you might want to keep an eye on its upcoming monthly subscription program, which will offer a new set of free games every lunar cycle. ReNinja: Strider Leaps In TodayFeb 19, 2014 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunAs a writer for Rock, Paper, Shotgun I am contractually obliged to know absolutely nothing about the series that Capcom are most recently rebooting. Previously consigned purely to the arcades and consoles, protagonist Strider Hiryu and his menagerie of robots was firmly beyond my grasp. I was disallowed any knowledge of his wall-hanging, ninja-running, platform-jumping ways and any investigation into the original late 80s arcade game, which this remake is based on, was redirected to Monkey Island Studies. Thank goodness for other people’s nostalgia, as from today the pyjama-clad death machine is available on Steam with a launch trailer below, if you’re quick enough. … Reviewers love Strider!Feb 18, 2014 - Community Announcements The reviews are pouring in for Strider, which is out tomorrow on Steam. Strider Hiryu, despite having been a famously lethal, acrobatic badass for over two decades, gets smack talked with astounding regularity. Even when he’s just scaled a massive satellite dish or finished slicing through a robot gorilla, there’s no shortage of naysayers waiting in the wings to call him foolish and weak. As a tribute to that disrespectful treatment and this ultra-mushy day of days, Capcom Unity has fashioned a handful of Valentine delights featuring classic Strider trash talk. Join Capcom Unity for a live Q&A session with Strider's producers!Feb 11, 2014 - Community Announcements Good news, everyone! With the release of Strider just a week away (2/19 on Steam), Producers Andrew Szymanski and James Vance have agreed to join us for an exclusive Live View Q&A over on Capcom Unity! Unity's done these in the past for other titles, but in case you're new to the concept, basically what they'll do is turn one thread of the Strider forum into a live chat for an hour so the producers can field some of your burning questions pertaining to the game.  The event will occur this Thursday, February 13th, 6-7pm PT. See the event thread for full details and ground rules. (Note: Event thread will remain locked until the event begins.) Hope to see you there!
