Updates for 1.1.2 patchJun 10, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsWe are back with some balance changes and bug fixes in the 1.1.2 patch! Balance: - Lucid buff: Many of you have said that Lucid feels very under powered compared to the others and we agree. This tends to happen with starter characters but now Lucid has an extra ability of removing heat if a defense card is played on a ship. - The boss Astra (giant starfish) AOE attack damage is now reduced from 6 to 4. Fixes: - Modifiers that were offering free repairs are now removed from the reward pool since all repairs are free now by default. - Artifact names were not showing sometimes in the shop. - Evade stacks on Payload weren’t getting removed - Energy Spike text updated - Temporal Overload costing energy when the condition is met. - Overflow now removes heat at the end of the attack, not before. - Silo can now salvage ship upgrades as well. - Clean Build triggers correctly when a ship is upgraded - Cluster Mines preview now shows correct mines damage. - Sharpshooter not scaling damage using the correct values. - Worm dying mid attack softlock. - Quantum Swap on Star Eater no longer causes Star Eater to “extend” - Slime on Ship and Siren pull attack no longer cause a bug with Slime - It is no longer possible to click on a reward then quickly click on salvage Stay tuned for more updates in the future! -- konafa Lovecraft inspired tactical roguelike Starless Abyss is now even more rewardingMay 11, 2025 - PCGamesNI'm not sure what makes the unknowable so irresistibly compelling, but there's no questioning the allure of Lovecraft style eldritch horror. Here are our victims heroes Proximae: Lucid Proxima {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45246516/ce121ff8c1cd68cd81b9cb321a85e76101a09b99.gif As a Commander struggling for his memories amidst the tides of war, Lucid works to grasp his place in this new conflict. With the Eldritch pushing on the boundaries, known and unknown, he must separate what is real from what lies purely in the Dreaming. Can he find a way forward through the complexities of reality? You begin your adventure into the Starless Abyss as Lucid, who, thanks to his previous combat experience, has a few perks to help guide his fleet to victory. Lucid can control a full 3 ship fleet, upgrading or replacing them as he encounters stores throughout space. While this costs money, having three ships will allow you to out-manoeuvre bosses, trap your opponents and share heat from your weaponry effectively, and each ship heals 1 at the end of each combat. His team also get 3 D.I.C.E to make crucial decisions at events, and 75 Credits to spend on upgrades, new cards, new ships or repairs. Silo Proxima {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45246516/78da4e479e34376b78ae065ba385f578bbe7bef9.gif Donated to science upon death, Silo Proxima may be the only brain in a jar across the entirety of the abyss, almost all alone in their sensory deprivation. Almost. Now, 400 years post-life, humanity may have another use for Silo, though their methods are neither ethical nor kind. But time is running out, and that very humanity is in short supply. Silo commands an impressive ship that can only travel alone rather than be part of a fleet. A state-of-the-art prototype that can teleport as it begins to run hot, and deals extra damage as the ship falls into an overheated state. Though of course, if your own ship is on fire, that presents problems. Bound Proxima {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45246516/05c96fea2f0e6daad6cbeb7dc3ea2fcafee1bc52.gif Bound has ambition. Unfortunately, Bound is also cursed. Indebted to a higher, Eldritch being, misfortune and calamity seem to follow her wherever she goes. Can debts to higher powers be repaid? Tricked? Or are cosmic powers simply too great to wield with Credits alone? Bound's curse follows wherever she goes, and she must pay up to it every time she reaches a boss, or fleet damage will occur. She starts with a debt of 50 credits, shops will refuse to give her a discount and can only travel with a fleet of two ships. Credits are always available though, as long as you're happy to destroy all the corpses she leaves in her wake.
