We fixed a lot of Windows bugs as well as made the Mac version compatible with Mac OS Catalina notarization, what was a real challenge;) The new version includes also: - Channel and master input / output level display - Opacity editing for GUI controls - Multi-languages GUI - New headphone presets - 7.1 routing and save/recall function Still on the list is to run the SSC without Steam in the background. But this is not easy to do because of we use the Steam copy protection until now. We have an own one but it's not compatible with steam store administration. However, we still discuss options with Steam. We're certain to find a solution for this too in later upgrades. Thank you so much for your patience, we know this update took too long. We try to be faster with the next one. Meanwhile, we're happy about any comment to get aware of unfound issues and to include more cool features soon. Kind regards from the New Audio Technology Team. Spatial Sound Card on MacOS 10.13+ supported.Apr 26, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsHello all Spatial Sound Card users on MacOS 10.13+ Apple created an issue with its resent kernel extension restrictions while installation of the SSC up from MacOS High Sierra. We like to offer a quick workaround in the new SSC readme on pages 3-4 you can find here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R011gaMZwXQg_CJIgm3otspSuNdyMieJ/view?usp=sharing We try to fix it as best as Apple allows in the next installer update. We're calling this new functionality "Latency Target". You'll find it in the options menu and there you can choose how much audio latency is tolerable for you. For example, when you're watching a cinema movie ( = 30 fps ) on your laptop during a train ride, you probably want good battery life and you just don't need a 60 fps audio responsiveness, because it's a 30 fps movie anyway. Or on the other end, if you're an absolute shooter fanatic, you probably don't give a hug about CPU usage, but you want the lowest possible latency. Personally, we enjoy both movies on the train and shooters at home, which is why there's this new configuration popup for you too select what you want. We also added Windows 10 and OS X Sierra compatibility, alongside with a re-worked minimize to tray functionality, just like you requested on the forums. New are also the value popups for the speaker levels, so that you can fine-tine your sound experience numerically.
