This week's update brings Catalogue and Achievements improvements: Collection index page We've added a new page at the start of your Collection tab. It has shortcuts to all individual decoration sets. You no longer have to click 10+ times just to find the page you need! '92 Collection We've grouped all current decoration sets under '92 Collection and moved all small houses to their respective pages. Achievements changes We've changed current achievements to only count '92 Collection (eg. Unlock all house variants -> Unlock all house variants from '92 collection), this way we can keep adding new decorations without impacting anybody's progress. Once new collections are fully released, they will get their separate achievements added to the game. With those changes out of the way we can continue adding new decoration set, with the first ones coming later this week!What's next for Ropuka's Idle Island?Mar 4, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello! It's been over a month since Ropuka's Idle Island was released. We are overwhelmed by the number of players, positive reviews, and love our game received so far! Today, we would like to share what we have in plans for Ropuka's future. Catalogue Rework We are improving the book to make navigating and equipping your unlocked stickers a bit easier. This will also make it easier for us to add new decoration sets to the game! Frog Panel customizations We want you to have more options over how Ropuka looks and behaves. Being able to equip more than one accessory, control Ropuka's pace of work, lower his movement speed, select which grass he cuts next are among the most requested features - we want to add them all! New animations and activities Another big suggestion was to add more activities. Drinking a hot beverage, eating a delicious meal, dancing to music, sleeping under a tree - this is what you can look forward to! We want the island to feel more alive and cozier than ever. A guest arrives at the island... We've also heard that winter is ending and an old friend of Ropuka's is coming back from a faraway trip, he may even bring him some gifts! Other things And what's more? We are designing new decorations, new music and ambients for the island. We are also working on a highly requested Mac port and are actively considering other platforms. This week's update to Ropuka's Idle Island is mostly focused on technical improvements and quality-of-life features: Windowed mode We've added an option to play the game in non-transparent Windowed mode. While playing in this mode the game will display one of the game's wallpapers and the island will fit within the window's bounds. FPS Limit You can set the game's FPS limit to 30/60/75/120/144/165/240 fps to match your preferred refresh rate or limit resource usage. This week in Ropuka's Idle Island: New house variant - small We've added 12 new house stickers, a small variant of every house we had in the game so far. They are getting added to the lottery, but you can also buy each individual one - half the house for half the original price! Changes: 20 new achievements added There are now more achievements available between the game's start and reaching 100% collection. Upgrades values and costs adjusted We've added more levels to most upgrades but made them all significantly cheaper so there should be less waiting periods between being able to buy something when you are playing for longer period of time. Made Ropuka cut grass more evenly Instead of cutting a big hole in the middle of the island, Ropuka will now try to keep his lawn relatively even. Today's small update addresses some bugs and issues you've encountered with our initial version of the game Gameplay Changes Fixed grass growth rate being over 10 times higher than the displayed value. Many of you reported Ropuka only cutting grass closest to the chair and never running around the island, this should make it so the grass is actually getting cut and grass quality/growth rate upgrades matter Increased the 'Total unique stickers' collection bonus to growth rate from 0.05/min to 0.1/min To compensate for the change above we are giving a bit more free growth rate from collecting stickers Other Added option to scale UI between 50% and 300% of the initial size Music volume, Ambient volume, UI Scale, and Always on Top settings should properly save between sessions now (after playing version 1.0.10 at least once) Added option to move the island by holding left shift and using arrow keys (click on the island so the UI shows and the game is the active window for it to work) Added option to launch the game straight from the installation folder Moved wallpapers from AdditionalFiles to Wallpapers folder Various compatibility and stability improvements Thank you, everyone, for reporting the issues, we are working hard to bring even more changes, improvements, and content updates soon!Ropuka's Idle Island is available now!Jan 29, 2025 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45415883/a5a8c68a1c9e18975ed51c525240ab9fa52279ba.png Ropuka's Idle Island is available right now!
