Taming the Tiger DLC released date revealedMay 22, 2025 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/16c09d0be3fc5fdb852642b49d035065c551c214.png The store page for the Taming the Tiger DLC is now live! The game will be released in August the 11th. You can check it out and add it to your wishlist here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3732510/Rise_of_the_White_Sun__Taming_the_Tigers/ The DLC is currently in its playtesting phase, and I’m working hard to ensure it’s challenging for all factions involved. So far, the battles during the Central Plains War have been incredibly dynamic, and I’m pleased with how things are shaping up. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/d55277c654cdc2bc204f473b13bddace1a009d2d.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/64e4c9dc4c7bad21df3ea7c17bb947e675d53945.png Have fun! Maestro Cinetik PS: you may have noticed many updates these days. These are all the small bugs I am correcting along the way while working on the DLC.DLC PreviewApr 25, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello, I just wanted to share with you the progress on the upcoming DLC, along with some screenshots. Given the immense amount of work, I’ve decided to split the DLC into two smaller parts, as I don’t want you to wait too long to play it. The first part will be 1929-1930, titled "Taming the Tigers," and it’s progressing well. The Central Plain War and the Sino-Soviet 1929 conflicts are almost finished. I’m currently working on the situation in Shanghai and all the underground struggles, as well as adding new actions for the Communist Party. After that, I’ll mainly need to add the dialogues and events for the different Communist groups. The content will be dense, and I’ve counted 74 new characters so far (the list keeps growing every day). My goal is to have it done before summer, if possible, or by September. I’ll try to limit myself, but I keep falling down rabbit holes, leading to compulsive book readings and tons of new content. Stay tuned! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/2d6fb4f7f86e62edbb0c1e3a66499be980fcf970.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/2ad2a8f2ad1afd5dd81611f73d4dba903dc79dbe.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/dbfb42e6ed7ae932cfff361b0282d12582ff36c4.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/20dcc16773fb34b824e0cb3479ad65a084e2ea11.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/4d1905e2e0dcbe621884e5c5236fa66b88a589ce.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/0c1b92671576092d7ebe98fd847942c633ce4df6.png Workshop at least!Apr 3, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello! I just released a patch with some gameplay fixes and two great features. Gameplay Fixes -Bandit leaders can now personally lead an army. This changes a lot of things, so let me know if it feels unbalanced. -Recruiting for an army with a sufficiently large stock of guns will no longer deplete the faction’s gun stock. I also killed tons of minor bugs you don’t even need to hear about. The Workshop is Open! You can find the documentation for it here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3456566337 At the moment, only two editor tools are available: A translation tool to provide better text in your language. A character editor to create and maintain mods like "Moe of the White Sun." This feature was a lot of hard work, and consider it a test for more editor tools. My ambition is that one day, you’ll be able to edit entire scenarios with their own dialogues. So, your feedback is crucial. Please: if you break the game while tinkering with its files, read the Steam guide I made before reaching out to me. The solution may already be available. My Latest Game is Out! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/e0054a620c019244eb8ef6551dd88d4aa4a046d8.jpg The game is available in English, French, and Chinese (even though the store might not say so). It’s an easy-to-pick-up but highly replayable Cold War 2 strategy game. It’s available at the bargain price of $4.99, so if you want to support an indie dev while enjoying hours of fun with a great game, just get it now! You can find it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3204120/Maestros_Cold_War_2/ Do you know what’s so great about this news? I can now focus again on the Rise of the White Sun DLC! (By the way, the editor tools will let players get a sneak peek at the future characters and event texts.) I hope you’ll be able to unleash your creativity with the new tools! Maestro Cinetik Quality of Life & UI 2025 Update and Korean LocalizationJan 14, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello! This new update focuses on players quality of life with some screen interractions reworked. Also: Korean language has also been added to the game, thanks to the community. Wh'os Who windows The who's who window is now more practical, and will display more informations. You can now manage more things from the who's who, like recruiting characters or delegating them to the AI. A faction tooltip has been added, and you can jump directly on that faction's diplomatic screen by clicking on the faction icon. Once a character has been selected in the who's who, it is now easy to inspect all other characters from that faction, thanks to the side arrows I added. Diplomacy and government panel The navigation has been simplified, and factions tooltips added everywhere. Districts management screen Hovering the faction flag will now display a tooltip, so you don't have to click the flag to get more informations. Army screen I added the same faction tooltip as everywhere, and you can now jump right into a unit faction's window by clicking on the unit icon. Province screen (that's the screen you access from the left button on the map view) I added more informations on characters, like the origine province and if they are southerners or northerners. End turn reports The end turn reports panel will now automatically pop up at each new turn. That festures has been requested several times, and now you have it! If like me, it annoys you, you can simply descativate that feature from the options menu. I hope this update will make things more simple for new players not familar with the warlord era. Have fun! PS: If you want to see what I am working on these days, there is a demo available containing 6 scenarios. It is a strategy game about the cold war, much more easy to play than Rise of the White Sun. The demo can be found here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3361850/Maestros_Cold_War_2_Demo/Bandit nerf patchDec 21, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello, As you now, I am working on next DLC, and I am doing some invisible heavy work (like making the game's resources lighter to support all the new content). But I am also adding some new small but awaitd features: You can now set the level of banditry to "low" That feature is in playtest, so it is only on Windows builds for the moment. If everybody likes it, I will keep it and extend it to Linux and Mac. To set the Banditry level to low, just push the button in the scenario selection screen. Beware the impact may be well beyond just the bandit activity: for exemple, the AI loves recruiting new armies directly from bandits. So less bandits may sometimes make the game easier (or more difficult, depending upon your playstyle) Tell me if you like it and have fun! Maestro Cinetik Post scriptum 1: Have you tested the demo for my next game? They already are 3 playable scenarios in it! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3361850/Maestros_Cold_War_2_Demo/ (this game is about the Cold War, and is much more simple than Rise of the White Sun, and it plays faster) Post scriptum 2: I made the first scenario of the next DLC appear in the scenario list so you can have an idea about what it will be.Thunder on the plain - insights about the incoming dlcNov 5, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsAs I progress in the development of the 1929-1933 DLC, I can share with you some screenshots and informations. The First scenario of the DLC will cover 1929-1930, and will be called "Taming the tigers" January 1929, The victory of the Guomindang (GMD) in the Northern Expedition was supposed to bring an end to warlordism in China. But has it really? As discussions on general disarmament continue, many regional factions within the victorious coalition grow increasingly wary of Jiang Jieshi's expanding power. The Guomindang strongman is now relying more heavily on a close-knit circle of supporters from Zhejiang and Jiangsu. Meanwhile, the Communist Party is swiftly reorganizing. Though its strongholds remain scattered, they are steadily growing in influence... {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/f0c6cee25133703a010f5d0e1ae7b8059a5e250f.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/09b3a6378399561f467b0cd127b94fda2ca850da.png It will play on the whole map (save Mongolia), and feature more than 50 new characters. Some major Characters will have evolved and gained new traits and a new portrait. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/e17d77155e420a13102961a0fe3ee3d1ecb1e8fd.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/21054a621f2f5ee4cb07ea6c6dddcc489bd3f3c3.png Feel free to ask me any questions you have about that dlc, I will answer with pleasure. Have fun! Maestro Cinetik PS: What else? Last Windows patch That patch fix some minor issues, including triggering conditions for the new achievements. Linux and Mac build will follow later October content PatchOct 19, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello there! Here is the October content patch. In it: -A new 1923 sandbox scenario -Zhili AI improved in the 1920 scenario -UI reworkd for 1280-800 px and 1280-700px Resolutions -A famous spy gained the new badass portrait he deserved -Last week save bug is fixed I also reorganized the scenarios to make room for new ones in the future. On this occasion, a small Guangxi scenario made its return in the tutorial section. I also added 7 new achievements. Some scenarios may seem daunting (like having all of China under your control or that of your allies), but remember, a skilled diplomat is all it takes to secure allies across the country. Diplomats are the most underutilized yet powerful role in the game. 1929-1933 DLC ETA No release date yet, but here’s my progress so far: The characters and factions have been defined for the first large scenario of the DLC. Expect over 50 new characters in this scenario alone. It will be titled 'Taming the Tigers,' covering events from January 1929 to the end of the Central Plains War. The Communist faction will use the same group system as in the 1927 scenario, with groups in Hubei, Shaanxi, Guangxi, Jiangxi, and more. Expect significantly more officer characters for this faction. I am currently working on the map and army data for the scenario's start. After that, I will write the introductory texts, victory conditions, and AI. Then I’ll focus on the dialogues and events. Once all of this is complete, I will begin playtesting and shift my attention to the second giant DLC scenario, which will focus on the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. From now on, expect fewer updates until the DLC release, though I’ll share regular news on development progress. Have Fun!Save Bug -- Solved!Oct 16, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsEdit: You can ignore the message below now, the problem has been solved --- --- --- --- ---- Hello everyone, I was planning to share some exciting news about new content, but instead, I regret to inform you of the less exciting news below. Some of you have encountered a very annoying bug that affects the save files. Here’s the good news: -The bug was easy to fix. -Your old save files will work again, and you will be able to finish your current game. However, here’s the bad news: -I’m unable to update the game at the moment (so your saves will stay broken) -It has been three days now. -The issue is on Steam’s end, and I can't say when it will be resolved. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from their support team, and I don’t know if anyone at Steam is actively working on the support ticket I submitted. I will keep you updated as soon as I have more information. Thank you for your understanding. Maestro CinetikThe 6th CongressSep 6, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsAs you may know, I am working on an exciting 1929-1933 DLC. While it is quite a heavy workload, I won’t keep you waiting too long for new content—I will ship smaller updates like this one from time to time! The 6th Congress Content Update This update brings new content to the 1927 Red Bases scenario: 2 new events related to the 6th Congress of the Communist Party 2 new Communist Characters (they enter the game after the 6th congress) 5 new actions to developp your Red Bases! A reworked AI for the Guomindang in this particular scenario New historical portraits for Liu Xing(刘铏) and Zang Zhiping 2 new cheat codes 4 new achievements In July 1928, the Communist Party gathered in Moscow to discuss the aftermath of the breakdown of the First United Front between the CCP and the Kuomintang. A new direction was set, and this is reflected in the new actions available for the Communist factions to develop their districts. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/58fdd338fbfbd9ff789c5e492c44caa9f7b6784e.png The new actions are: Red Base The Party begins the process of establishing executive committees in every district, town, and village. These committees are tasked with assisting in the creation of soviets by local assemblies. This endeavor is far from straightforward. Not only does the population harbor fears of a resurgence of the Guomindang or warlord troops, but it is also challenging to find competent locals who fully grasp the new organizational structure. To overcome these obstacles, the Party must rely on the support of local associations to continuously communicate and clarify its actions. There are no shortcuts: achieving transformation into a genuine Red base, backed by the people, demands persistent and audacious political effort. ==>Upon the successful implementation of this policy, your influence across all social classes will rise by 10, while the influence of other factions will diminish by 20. ==>Additionally, Peasant Self-Defense Corps summoned in this district will be reinforced with more members, and recruitment actions will be more efficient. Young vanguard Young men from this district are organized into young vanguard units. In the event of a crisis, the regular army will be supported by these groups, who are intimately familiar with the terrain. Tasks such as scouting enemy movements, supplying the army, and securing the rear can confidently be entrusted to these enthusiastic vanguard groups. ==>Upon the completion of this policy, the Peasant Defense Corps summoned in this district will have higher morale, and enemy troops will face a higher chance of being ambushed. ==>Enemies in this district are automatically spied upon Land Refrom Land Reform is a critically necessary policy, yet lessons have been learned from past local, clumsy attempts: it is now understood that rallying all peasants into a broad front is essential. While leadership of the peasant associations must be entrusted to the poor peasants, it is crucial not to alienate the medium p...Summer update 3Aug 15, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsIn this update: I fixed a lot of bugs. I won't bore you with all the details, but, for example, the 1927 scenario for the Guangxi CCP group has been significantly cleaned up. I reworked the mini-map. It's not a huge change, but it now looks much nicer. I added the ability to load games while in-game You no longer need to return to the main menu. (Many of you requested this quality of life feature.) What's next? I'm working on a massive content DLC covering the years 1929 to 1933: *Sino-Soviet War in Manchuria *Central Plains War *Japanese invasion of Manchuria These are just a few of the major events included, as these were turbulent years. No ETA yet, as this is a huge update, and I'm also heavily committed to the Cold War 2 project. (And yes, Japan will be playable!) Have fun!Summer Patch 2 / Mini mapAug 2, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsYou now have a minimap of China. You can display it or hide it, change its side, drag it where you want it, etc... It is clickable to open provinces map. Navigating between provinces has never been so easy! As for all my summer patches, it is for windows only. Linux and Mac versions will have to wait for September to be updated. Have a nice summer! Maestro CinetikSummer Patch 1Jul 14, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsThis is summer time, and I am both far from my historical documentation and working on my next project. Therefore, I will take this occasion to ship only small updates to fix minor issues, instead of more content. These summer patches are for Windows only; Mac and Linux users will have to wait until September. In today's patch: * I reworked the Zhili clique AI for better defense of the Beijing Area. * I changed the cost of the new relief actions (those that cost 4 QI now only cost 3). * I fixed the behavior of the "escape" key, taking into account players' feedback. If you were wondering about my next project, you can play its free browser draft here. I am actually remaking that Cold War game for PC. The aim is not only to make a more polished version but also to create a highly moddable game. Have a nice summer! Where have my colors gone? / 我的颜色去哪儿了?Jun 25, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsThe changes in that patch only apply to Windows. If players like them, Mac OS and Linux will receive them too. Did you know that the game's author was color-blind? One might have guessed it given the audacious color choices in the game's UI. Well... I finally acknowledged that this needed a rework. The game now has sober colors. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41622060/8637ea82c361f8109e08a0cb46dba9c26839c7de.png But don't worry, you can still revert to the original UI by selecting the option "Make my eyes bleed!" in the options menu. I took the opportunity of that patch to add a long-requested feature: the ability to search for a character by name in the Who's Who menu (the one you use to display lists of characters). That's all for today. Famine Relief UpdateJun 23, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsThe latest patch includes: 5 new actions related to drought and famine management. A reworked 1920 AI, enhancing the defense of Shanghai. New Famine Relief Actions Responding to your requests for more options to combat drought, I've introduced 5 new district policies and actions. Most of these actions incur an upkeep cost and are unlocked via the Chamber of Commerce upgrade. Temporary Relief Societies: Officials and philanthropists will participate in this initiative, undertaking charity and relief efforts. This policy will unlock additional options and reduce the number of bandits generated by drought. Discounted Sales Granaries: An effective method to supply the district with grain and manage prices. These granaries will reduce the duration of droughts each turn and help restore vitality if it has dropped too low. Like the Temporary Relief Societies, these granaries also reduce the number of bandits created by drought. Soup Kitchens: Easier to set up than granaries, they will reduce the duration of famine, albeit with lower efficiency and maintenance costs. Dragon King Rituals: In the game, when the population implores the Dragon King for rain, it never works. However, this action will increase your Face (reputation), tradition, and influence over peasants. Speculate on Grain: Another action that allows for quick, albeit unethical, earnings by exploiting a district's resources. Another great change is that from time to time, private initiative will provide relief to a district in distress. 1920 AI Reworked The AI in the 1920 scenario was ineffective at defending Shanghai. With this rework, the AI will now be more proactive and strategic in its defense. What's Next? I have started coding for the 1929-1932 DLC. While I cannot provide a release date yet, progress is underway. Enjoy the game! Maestro CinetikThe Yellow Way - New (free) DLCJun 2, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello! I have been frantically patching the game recently to improve the quality of life, add new features, and release a free DLC. I hope you will be as satisfied with the result as I am! The Yellow Way (Free DLC) This DLC unlocks a new faction in the Little Model China and 1920 Sandboxes. The Yellow Way society is very similar to the later Heavenly Gate Society, but its victory conditions are designed for bolder players. In Henan, drought, floods, and banditry have led to a resurgence of secret society activities. Near Anyang, an alliance between a Yellow Way master and a mysterious man claiming to be a ninth-generation descendant of the Ming dynasty has sparked an outright rebellion against the Republic. The rebels aim to restore the Ming Dynasty! Though underarmed, their ranks are rapidly growing, and they are now able to besiege local garrisons. The rebels know the area well and have so far resisted all attempts by the authorities to take them down. Why a free DLC instead of just new content for the game? Two reasons: -I made this faction stronger than it was historically for the sake of fun, so it does not entirely fit into the original game. -I am experimenting with Steam DLCs for the future development of the game. Quality of Life Improvements *I reworked the "Escape" navigate back feature so it now works as players expect. *I fixed some issues that used to slow the game. *I added some useful tooltips when you hover over armies on the map. I plan to keep adding quality of life features between major content updates. Also, check the options menu—there are settings that may significantly improve your experience! Achievements! I realize now how silly it was to add them so late in the game's life, but here they are. ^^ I will continue adding achievements from time to time as completion scores rise. Enjoy! Maestro Cinetik Experimenting with Achievements / 实验成就系统May 24, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsYou may have noticed that the game now has some few achievements. This is only the begining, as I am testing the feature. There will be much more achievements (and they will be translated into Chinese) Stay tuned, more informations about what is next will come soon. Maestro CinetikUnited Front (large content and feature update)May 11, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsDear players, I am pleased to announce a fantastic new update! Playtesters were highly satisfied with it, so I believe you will love it too! The main contents of this update are: A better (by far) automation system A large new scenario set in 1923, called United Front A difficulty system reworked and balanced (thanks to 1 month of playtests) A better (by far) automation system Tired of repetitive actions? Bored with province development? Overwhelmed by managing a large empire? Just delegate these tasks to the AI! In fact, you're not delegating tasks directly to the AI, but whole characters management. While this feature existed previously, it has been enhanced and expanded. What as changed? 1) Now, you can delegate even your active characters to the AI. This can be reverted at any time, and if the AI hasn't utilized all of a character's QI, you can still utilize them during your turn to complete actions with the remaining QI. 2) The loyalty cost of delegating a character to the AI has been significantly reduced, so you no longer need to worry about using this feature. 3) You can still delegate characters from your reserve pool to the AI, which is essential for managing large multi-province domains. However, I've introduced two useful improvements. (For those new to the game, the option to delegate characters from your reserve pool to the AI unlocks when you have 5 active characters.) You can now assign these characters to specific provinces. These characters will appear in the province HQ panel, allowing you to interact with them directly. Additionally, I've implemented actions to facilitate the transfer of resources to them effortlessly. How to decide what kind of action the AI should perform? The behavior of characters when controlled by the AI depends entirely on their roles. I invite you to read this Steam guide about roles. If you aim for province development, employ a statesman character. For combating banditry, deploy a police character, and so on. A warlord character will prioritize cultivating opium and building the largest army imaginable. How competent is the AI? The AI's competence level is decent. Playtesters were generally satisfied with it. However, it's worth noting that I deliberately toned down its capabilities to ensure it doesn't match the opponent's AI. Additionally, characters in the reserve pool will exhibit less responsiveness compared to your active characters when delegated to the AI. United Front scenario The new scenario spans from Sun Yat Sen's return to Guangzhou in 1923 until his death in 1925. Key events of this scenario include: -The Beijing-Hankow railway strike -The formation of the United Front between the Guomindang and the Communists -The establishment of the Whampoa Academy and the presence of Soviet advisors in Guangzhou -A merchant uprising in Guangzhou -Conflict between Jiangsu and Zhejiang over control of Shanghai -A new Zhili-Fengtian war leading to the collapse of the Zhili clique -Feng Yuxiang's betra...Difficulty levels & new cheat codesApr 15, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello, The work on the 1923 scenario is progressing smoothly, and I am correcting bugs and adding features along the way. When I have cool stuff that can be published before the next content patch, I will release small updates like this one. Today's update only applies to the Windows version. Versions for Linux and Mac will follow later. Today's Update: Difficulty Levels You can now select a difficulty level when you launch a scenario. There are four difficulty levels: Green Difficulty Level: This is the default difficulty level. It is perfect for playing as an underdog faction or for discovering the game. Seasoned Difficulty Level: This difficulty level is intended to raise the challenge when you play as one of the major factions. Your opponents will be able to grow and maintain larger armies. Elite Difficulty Level: Not only will your opponents be able to grow and maintain larger armies, but the game will also shamelessly cheat by giving random resources each turn to characters controlled by your opponents. Dare Death Difficulty Level: Not only will your opponents get all the bonuses of the Elite difficulty levels, but your troops will also have a malus at their morale checks during fights. New Cheat Codes "endwar" will disband a unit. "flowerpower" will send all weapons of the selected unit into your faction stockpile. "oneguntwoarms" will send rifles from the selected unit, but will leave 1 rifle per man (if there are enough guns). For those new to the game: just press the "c" key to open the cheat console. Annoying Bug Fixed You won't be able to use to trigger the action buttons anymore. That will prevent a free multiple action exploit. I hope you will have a lot of fun playing with this update. I also need your feedback about the difficulty setting, as it certainly needs balance. Maestro Cinetik Content Poll result : what's next - Chinese Community Translation 90% completeApr 3, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsRise of the White Sun will participate in the Turn-Based Fest, and it's truly an honor. On this occasion, I've updated the game to reflect the latest advancements in the Simplified Chinese Community Translation. All materials in the game, up to the year 1927, should now be accurately translated. This amounts to approximately 90% of the game's content being translated by the community. I cannot thank them enough for their patient and diligent efforts. Some minor, albeit rare, bugs have also been addressed in the latest patch, though none were significant enough to warrant a detailed discussion here. So what's next? You cast your votes here to decide the focus of the next content update. The winner is: -A 1923 scenario about the United Front And a close second is: -More content for the 1927 scenario Given the tight race, I've decided to tackle both updates in the order they were voted for. Following these updates, my attention will likely turn towards improving the game's manual or enhancing the wiki. I'm excited to share that the 1923 scenario will encompass all of China except Mongolia, introduce more than 30 factions, and feature many new characters. The GMD, the Chinese Communist Party, and the Fengtian Clique will be the primary factions, enriched with their own events and dialogues. The GMD's challenges will include: -Forming a United Front with the CCP, securing aid from the USSR, and transforming the Party and its Army. -Establishing a new government in Guangzhou after once again ousting Chen Jiongming and setting the groundwork for the future. -Navigating relationships with its unpredictable allies. The Chinese Communist Party's challenges will involve: -Organizing strikes and unions along the Beijing-Hankou railway. -Joining the United Front. -Expanding their influence in Guangdong. The Fengtian Clique's challenges will focus on: -Modernizing the Army. -Enhancing their supply and industrial capabilities. -Seeking revenge on the Zhili Clique. The additional content for 1927 will revolve around new strategies to establish Red Bases, following the VIth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party. Given the Communist faction's lack of statesman characters, these new actions will offer opportunities to develop districts with peasant leaders and political workers. We'll also likely introduce more upgrades for the Communist armies and militias. Enjoy! Maestro Cinetik First March patch notes and poll about next content patchMar 2, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsHello, I'm seizing the opportunity presented by this patch announcement to seek your input on the game's future content. Please spare a moment to cast your vote for the upcoming content here https://strawpoll.com/3RnYl59Yxye What's new this week? This content patch is currently available for the Windows version only. Versions for Linux and Mac will be released at a later date. Minor bugs: -n the 1925 scenarios, an issue where the Comintern Compound's "Propaganda Department" action inadvertently removed the option to undertake the "Military Committee" action has been resolved. -The issue of disappearing refugees in Xinjiang upon loading a saved game has been fixed (applies only to new saves made from this point forward). Typos and proofreading: -The poorly written English texts and typos identified in the Steam forums have been addressed. Content: -Two characters, Dai Kemin and Pan Zhongru, have been added to the Hubei CCP faction in 1927, as requested by a player. Currently, they are represented with default portraits, but I have commissioned the artist to create historical portraits. -The "split army" action has been slightly nerfed, and a quick action button for this action has been introduced. Have fun! Maestro Cinetik
