Fix rare issue were some vehicle based achievements were not being awarded correctly. Players who have been affected should be able to load the game and drive / boost / glide for a few moments to unlock the achievements. Fix rare issue which caused the auto-save system to become blocked. Fix the "Hey Boss" popping from not fully dismissing in some rare cases. Fix the election rally crowd SFX from leaking into the rest of the game once the rally has completed. Fix for the collection progress tracker incorrectly limiting the display to 99%. Added map markers to help 100% collecting litter, billboards and katashiro. Markers appear when reaching 97%, 97% and 96% respectively. Fix typos in credits and some localisations. Devil May Cry, Dragon Age, Mortal Kombat; all amazing franchises in their own rights, each of which defined my childhood in many different ways. But, since I began working in this industry - and at PCGamesN specifically - I've fallen in love with indie games, happily casting aside big open-world, narrative-driven triple-A games for gems like Animal Well, Indika, and, now, Promise Mascot Agency. Thank you all SO much for playing. 💖 We know there are so many demos to choose from, so the fact that you spent time with our mascots in Kaso-Machi means the world to us! We kept our limited-time Steam Next Fest demo up for longer than we intended due to popular demand, but the demo build is months old now and has been untouched since. We have noticeably improved every aspect of the game (including framerate!), so the demo is no longer an accurate reflection of the quality of the final product. We have made the decision to take the demo down so that we can focus on development of the main game branch for patches rather than spending development time upgrading the demo. He believes that he is an ancient warlord, and he is very confused by the modern world. His only desire in life is to conquer a castle fit for a great warlord of his (believed) stature, where he will rule for the rest of his days. On his journey, Michi’s patience will be put to the test dealing with all the various mascot related mayhem, and none will push him to the limit more than the headstrong Tanukin! Developer notes: I really like Tanukin’s design. He communicates so much about himself with just a single glance at him. For a while, I wasn’t entirely sure how to write him, but without revealing too much, his Life Satisfaction quest was really fun to write and I always get a chuckle out of Michi’s attitude at the end of it. All vibes. Koke-Maru is a marimo moss ball creature that just hangs around in the rice fields and baths, keeping moist and staying out of the limelight. They have the power to magically craft objects, they can also turn invisible. Don’t ask how or why. But this has led some scumbags to try to harvest his mossy body, believing it has ‘godly powers’. Koke-Maru has lived in the town for their entire life, but an incident many years ago caused him to go deep into hiding. But when Michi and Pinky☆ offer them a role at the agency, Koke-Maru jumps at the chance to work with others and make some new, sentient friends. Developer notes: I like Koke because he just wants to do his thing and chill. He doesn't want to be bothered, he just wants to focus on his craft. HIGHLY RELATABLE. Sometimes described as a ghost, for others, they swear whatever haunts the tunnel is the Grim Reaper himself. In reality, it’s just a very tired boy called Karoushi, who happens to exist in the space between life and death, and can commune with the spirits of Kaso-Machi. No big deal. Karoushi is a cautionary tale of burnout. He teaches about the danger of overworking yourself for any corporation, and empowers workers to stand up for their rights. Ultimately, he wants everyone to enjoy the life they have, while they have it, lest they end up bitter and alone like he is. Developer notes: I gave him his weird room in the haunted tunnel because I loved the creepiness of Highway Star’s tunnel room in Jojo Part 4. Previously employed to promote unagi bowls, but he doesn’t want to do this anymore due to the endangerment of Japanese eels, we love a sustainable king! He now passionately advocates for respecting all the living creatures that we eat and conservation in general. All of his favourite things begin with the letter ‘U’, maybe linked to the fact that during summer in Japan, some people like to eat food that begins with ‘u’ in the belief that it helps with the heat. Developer notes: Kabaya King is one of my favourite mascot designs in the game, visually. He's cute in some regards but his abdomen is horrifying. While she visually presents as a traditional cutesy mascot, she wants to rebel against being type-cast and limited by her looks. There is more to her than being cute you know! Neko Roll wants to do fun events and not be limited by the mascot industry in Kyoto. She also wants to save up enough money to buy a tea farm and Kaso-Machi has an abandoned farm that would be perfect. Cats seem to be drawn to this town as it almost exists in a kind of spiritual limbo. Whenever something spooky is happening, you can bet there’ll be a cat nearby. Meow. Developer notes: Neko Roll is such a sweetheart. When we got the concept back there was a note attached to it, saying “she meows when you poke the sponge part” and we thought that was so cute. Sometimes mascots just need to be cute.
