Since launching Early Access, we've accomplished the three main goals of the game: more mechs, more weapons and a new game mode. From today, the regular patch cycle ends with this patch and we will be revising every aspect of the game to ensure that there are no bugs. While we are at it, if you encounter bugs or a must have QoL feature kindly let us know. Here are few things that we are working on for the full release. This means that per weapon damage decreased as the number of total drones spawned is now limited early game. To balance this, the damage and the critical rate was adjusted - also accounting for the need for the damage buff. Please note that while this patch is not particularly unstable, I've only had 2 days to QA. The usual interval between regular patches is about 3 weeks and I did not want to delay any further. I will be QA'ing the build for few days and it may receive some announced fixes (if required). If you come across one, kindly report it via the forum. Basically, if you have lost your progress due to save file corruption, Steam Cloud failure or anything, you can recover via this option. The recovery function doesn't recovery 100% accurate profile, but will be close enough as it is based on Steam Achievements. Stages and Mech unlocks should be accurate and Cavarium amounts will be slightly lower than the original value. Migration is happening on Jan 30th (Monday) Current Experimental RC11 will become Alpha 4 as the main version and will be the default version All Season 2 leaderboards will be wiped. Currently, it is filled with players who have tested the RC builds to hunt bugs and test stability - thank you, thank you, and thank you. If we find a critical bug between now and Monday, that requires time to investigate, the migration date may be delayed. RC11 Release Notes Improved Drake animations and related FX. It should be smoother and no stuttering legs at certain angles Decreased early elite monster speed Fixed Machine Gun Reload sound fx overlapping Fixed announcer saying "Super damage is deactivated" instead of "Dirty Fuel" Crystal rendering performance is doubled. In a bench test, the legacy rendering was only able to render 6000 crystals at 60FPS. Now, with the new optimization, it is able to render 12000 crystals at 60FPS. It will not however, improve normal gameplay performance (may be a bit smoother due to decreased CPU work load) but it will mostly impact Challenger Players leaving massive amounts of crystals in the field.
