[OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT] Road to Season 1Jan 20, 2025 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44947709/fa308d8efd02ea30e0eef36eb72721b35cc2e322.png Road to Season 1 Our next target on Roadmap is to release Season 1, as part of the making game available to the wider audience. This is something we’re planning to achieve in the next three months. Below is a short roadmap outline of what to expect in the next three to four months: Missions: We’re planning to finalize testing and proofing and releasing around 100+ missions and quests for you to enjoy. Seasons Duration: Each Season will last 4 months and will end with a full wipe and reset before the next Season starts. Free Accounts Upgrades: To say thank you to players who supported us on our journey to Season 1, we will UPGRADE all active game accounts (not banned or refunded) as following: Accounts will be upgraded to the next Tier (For example, Standard Accounts will become Ghost Operator, No Man’s Land accounts will become Accession). Accession accounts will receive 2,500 A-Notes, effectively giving as much real money value as most people paid for those accounts in the first place. At Start of the Season 1, all active accounts that have been registered before the start of the Season 1 will get 7 days of PRIME account status. What kind of content and new functionality of the game will be included in a Season 1 Two new maps At the start of Season 1 we will release two new maps, both are medium to large size outdoor maps, we’re working on right now. Please expect to get a glimpse on those maps in early February, when we will be releasing initial information on the maps content. Community Events Every few weeks we will launch a Community Event - mission that will require all players to participate for a common goal. Every time each individual player completes part of the common goal, he will receive a small Reward. As soon as the community as a whole group will complete Event’s goal everyone who has participated will receive an Ultimate Event reward. Season Pass This is our own take on a battle pass with a few twists. First of all - you don’t need to buy anything or unlock any “premium tiers” for the rewards. Everything is unlockable by playing the game and available to every player. For doing your normal game activities such as surviving expeditions, leveling up, completing quests and missions you will earn Season Tokens. You will use those tokens to unlock rewards split among 20 “rewards cells”. Cells are connected to each other and to unlock Cell you will need to spend a certain amount of Tokens in bordering Cells. This way Season Pass allows you to concentrate on unlocking rewards that are important to you. Most rewards are purely cosmetic, but some will allow you to get experience faster, PRIME status, added Global Vault Slots, etc. Inter Season Storage Box Basically think of it as a special secure container that is not wiped at the end of the Season. New and updated features Account Upgrades Following your suggestions, we have added an ingame “store” that allows players to upgrade their game editions completely or partially, by purchasing extra global vault slots, Cosmetic Tickets without having to exit the game and access through the browser. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44947709/1989092fd25527e1717c8447c6e97730e6f66790.png Gear Buffs/Debuffs We have now added some gear item that will have buffs and debuffs. For instance, heavier armors may cause you to be slower, while ergonomic backpacks will allow you to carry more weight without penalties based on its current content weight. Healing UI Update Based on your feedback, we've added a tooltip ribbon to the Health menu. When you hover over an injury, it will display the medications you have that can treat that specific injury. You can unlock them by looting items from expeditions or completing missions and challenges. New Cosmetic Items We have added over 40 new cosmetic items and skin patterns to the game. We have also lowered the prices on some cosmetics, based on your feedback. Balancing Changes Gear, Meds and foods We have made major changes to the meds system. All meds now heal all injuries as soon as the progress on using them ends. Previously, it would take a few seconds to use it, then it would have an effect after some more few seconds, making it confusing and unclear to players when using them during battles Most meds have had their “delayed action” removed and consume-time adjusted accordingly. Food items on the other hand have been adjusted to always restore SOME health over time. This is all work in progress and we will continue balancing out these items and time values based on your feedback as we are marching towards a “stable release” of the game in 2025. Gunplay We have made major changes to the way gunplay feels based on your feedback. Recoil patterns and dynamics have been reworked in a major way. Overall, we aimed to keep guns feeling more or less authentic in comparison to what real world gun enthusiasts would expect from them, however we still wanted to make sure the gun feels “right” to the majority of gamers and what they are used to. Please give us feedback and tell us what you think of their current state! We are working on fixing multiple bugs related to muzzle flashes that have caused them to display brighter and larger than expected to players. Here's a recap of the main changes we've made, including the Hotfix rolled out earlier this week: MAPS Port Fixed missing loot spawns Fixed Office Building obstables Fixed most of the maps Obstacles Added more mobs (Grunts only) in patrols and single patrols (practice your takedowns) Ozersk-3 Fixed the loot around the Construction Yard Reworked the Underground Entrance (ADU)/Military Base and rebalanced the loot Fixed flying objects and bushes Reworked paths to fix colliisions and obstacles blocking it Mob respawn timer increased at the Military Base/Underground Entrance GAMEPLAY Meds Changed the use time on meds: Meds are not used instantly and they have a slight delay on effect removal, which is then instant. Changed the meds to make them more unique: Meds now will only help with specific debuffs. For example, Tourniquet will only remove Heavy Bleeding, but not light bleeding and cut. Changed meds availability on Vendors: We have made adjustments on new design changes as to make it easier for players to be able to buy basic meds for any condition. Attachments Rebalanced most attachments: This is a work in progress and we will keep refining this throughout the next patches. Fixed attachment spawns in the world: We have added more attachments to the lood, including more magazines for SMGs, Rifles and Handguns. Added low profile Vintorez Rails Adapter. Gunplay Through your feedback on our Discord and on Steam, we have made some adjustments to gunplay in general to make it feel more natural. Changed recoil patterns and gun handling: These changes aim to make all guns usage more comfortable and shooting to be more skill based and less random. The major change was on the gun control/recoil code that were tailored to replicate behavior of real world guns in the game. However we have noticed this does not necessarily work well in a videogame, making the gunplay mediocre for players actively playing the game and forcing them to choose gun categories based on that. So now we've made it so all guns feel better and the choice between gun categories becomes more of a situation/preference rather than a good/bad case. This is still work in progress, so we will continue refining it throughout the next patches. Gear Changed vests values and stats: More plate-carriers have side slots, making side armor plates more useful in the game. Improved item usage interface: We have made adjustments to it to make it less obstrusive. Fixed display stats bugs: We had some bugs with items having incorrect/inacurate stats displayed and usage in the inventory. Gunsmith Fixed the calculation of weapon assembly cost: The cost will now make more mathematical sense. Fixed UX bugs: This is the bug that was causing attachments to be lost in your inventory after using the Gunsmith. Here are some major UI/UX changes we have made to improve overall Quality of Life for players. UI / UX / QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES The item tooltip now shows the approximate value of the item for selling. That should make it easier for you to decide if you want to keep it or not. Ammo for the selected gun is now highlighted in your Inventory Slot, making it easier and faster to find the appropriate ammo. Items have different colors based on rarity/value, but without making it too colorful. Keybind/controls helper is displayed in strategic moments. They can also be disabled completely through the Options. HUD is now highly customizable, giving you the ability to toggle different parts of the UI. Character statistics and statuses are more clearly displayed in different interfaces/screens, making it easier for players to evaluate character conditions and what to do about it. Added a “Pickup everything” and “drop everything from the backpack” actions to the Inventory. “Quick Sale” option from your inventory and backpack is now active, which should save you time when trading with NPCs. Ammo now show which armor level they will penetrate in a clear way, alongside the traditional penetration value. Quick Heal menu has been added, making it possible for you to configure it to your liking and set up specific medications with a single hotkey. Quick Select wheel menu has been added, which you can select grenades and medication for quick use. Added an automatic sorting and stacking system for ammo. Added a function to place “minimap navigation points” in the HUD view without having to open the map interface. Just aim where you want to set it and use the hotkey. If you don’t have ammo for a specific gun you choose for the raid, the game will ask if you want to equip the ammo. Improved interface for healing and eating. It doesn’t fully block your screen anymore and players are able to WALK (you still can’t run, jump, duck, etc..) while using items. Improved the gun disassembly interface. It shows you in more detail what you will get. Leaning (left and right) - Animations have been reworked and it is now less pronounced and smoother, allowing you to use it more tactically. Patch 0.3.6.6 - Game Overhaul and New MapsNov 27, 2024 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44947709/ef97421ee17b496c2e757d3bb92a9d491716cc57.png Greetings everyone, As you were aware, we have been working on a major overhaul for the game, on all game systems based on feedback received from Early Access players and now are ready to launch Season 1 of the game, making it available to a larger audience. Below is a recap of everything that’s been changed and what is available today in our first major patch. PvE GAME MODE By popular demand we have created a PvE-only Mode, which is included for FREE for all players who have purchased Project L33T. The PvE Mode concept is pretty clear - Play the game exclusively in PvE mode alone or in coop where you can take your time to learn and not go through the stress of playing online against people who may have more experience in the game genre/gaming in general. For those who are interested, we will also be offering Private Server rental for the PvE Game Mode allowing you further tweak game parameters and server settings and install server mods. Another significant difference between PvE and PvPvE modes is that you will have a separate character for this game mode, with their own Global Vault and Character Progression. For the new players who are interested in the PvE version of the game only and have not purchased Project L33T, the PvE Version of Project L33T will be available at a low price (US$9.99 - prices may vary per region), with its own separate Game SKU available on Steam in December. Now meds clearly show what they heal and their purpose and medical conditions also have a more profound and clear effect, which will be much more practical to understand. SECURED CONTAINER REDESIGN Another system that has been redesigned based on feedback is the Secure Container System, here’s a quick breakdown of the changes. This aims to help you figure out which items to extract with. More stastistics have been added to the inventory and the Health Stats Screen. Here's a Summary of these maps: PORT: A small map on the south part of the map. This map is designed for Close-Quarter Combat and a more action-driven PVP. COSMODROME: A mid-sized map set up around a spaceship launchpad. PRIMORSK: A mid-sized map of a beach-side town with an ocean front promenade and a park and the town's downtown area. CROSSING: A small map around a river, with a bridge connecting two sides. OVERSEER: A mid-sized Radar Installation Map with multiple Points of Interest. CROSSROADS: A large map in a valley connecting to the OZERSK-3 Map. SILO: A small indoor map, inside an underground ICBM Complex map, accessible through a portal entry from and to the Crossroads Map. These random points are activated randomly between sessions from a predefined pool. All available extraction points are marked on the map. Each point will display its timer or the specific conditions that must be met to use that extraction point. Active extraction points will have a green icon while inactive ones will be displayed with a red icon; Selecting them on the map will show a pop up window with more information on them, including their location and in case they require something, what is required to use them. The requirements may be in the form of G. Coins (which are exclusively obtainable through certain NPCs missions and ingame), Union Dollars or even some specific item(s). Reading these descriptions will make it clearer for you to understand where exactly it's located. Most of the ones remaining are related to known issues with Unreal Engine and Nvidia drivers that both Nvidia and Epic are aware of and affect many other running the engine. Our Anticheat systems (all three layers) have been fully activated with all features and we are in the process of tweaking paraments to exclude any false-positives. We understand that being kicked out of the game for no reason sucks, but we are making sure that we eliminate those false-positives are cleared out while also keeping cheaters at bay. The personal Homebase meta gameplay is close to being ready to be launched. More information on this later. Full Missions journal has been enabled in game, which allows you to take on multiple missions, track progress and so on. Gun skins painting kits have been added as part of the loot in the world. That means you will be able to unlock gun skins from items found in game. Added new vendors and made changes to the way you unlock them. We have also added more items for them to sell and to barter. You can now access the Black market vendor ZOTOV, who will exclusively trade with G. Coins. G. Coins are an exclusive ingame currency that you can acquire by finding them in the world, completing missions for Zotov or selling items to Zotov. You can also now skip Marauder Expedition Cooldown using the G. Coin currency. World Map {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44947709/239dc138941b5584b34a99ec67d13d6adc431085.png Added a map selection screen. It shows all the maps we have currently planned for releases in 2024-2025. Some of these maps are connected to each other, which will allow players to navigate freely between them without requiring an extraction or loading into the Social Hub from the Prologue map when they are released. This intend to bring in a bigger Open-World feeling to the game. Map Expansion Unlocked more floors in the Ozersk-3 City Hall. A new area will soon replace the "Construction Yard", adding a Close-Quarters Battle maze to a half-finished office building. Extraction Improvements Added more extraction points to the map. More will continue to come, with random locations. Every extraction point is now clearly marked on the map along information on them, including requirements and if they are unlocked/available or not. Some of the afore mentioned Extraction Points will require an extraction fee in Dollars or G. Coins or specific item(s). Quality of Life improvements You can now see an estimated value of the items looted in the popup description (hover your mouse over the item icon).
