Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends

Fifth AnniversaryFeb 28, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsFive years ago I have released Pogostuck out into the world. Thank you to the over 300 000 people who have played the game since, including those who have tried it and decided it's not for them (although I suggest sticking with it for 30-60min at least, as quite a few people who went on to enjoy the game greatly didn't like it much initially)! Thank you to the gamers who have played Pogostuck for 1000+ hours, perfected the movement and destroyed all the game's challenges and records in leaderboards! And thank you to content creators and everyone who has watched the game on YouTube, Twitch or other streaming sites! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/10c025ac1b180709c7b0930cfcd0de0837d43f0e.png To celebrate this milestone I've added 3 new wardrobe items: A birthday cake hat (with a secret special mechanic, maybe!). A new pause effect - for Pogo Masters only. An offbeat accessory - for Pogo Legends only. To unlock the birthday cake hat boot up the game and play one of the maps for a bit during the celebration week (February 28th until March 6th). See you on Mount Pogo! SuperkuMap 3: Upside-DownOct 29, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsAn Upside-Down mode for Map 3 comes out today! Because why not. This new mode is nothing for the faint of heart as you can imagine. It's definitely up there with Map 2 and Map 2 Upside-Down in terms of challenge. It features a few unique jumps and obstacles and should keep you busy for a while. Similarly to Map 2 UD you can access the Map 3 equivalent by hopping into the portal above the mode blocks: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/6211290cb588ef729371fddfc7a5dfa2dac88687.png The only requirement to access the mode and for this portal to appear is that you've beaten Map 3 in any mode at least once (so you know the ending of the stage already and generally what the map is normally like). Many changes in code were necessary for this mode but surprisingly, only a handful of modifications to Map 3 itself. If you manage to beat this new mode without any co-op help (rubber bands or "helper friends") you will gain access to a new option in the wardrobe menu, the option to invert your character orientation. There's no new achievement for now. Good luck and have fun! SuperkuNew Bonus Map: Drakula's CastleOct 25, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsOn your way up the mountain a caveman asks you for help. Their friend has gone missing. Being the good soul that you are you do not hesitate a second and pledge your assistance. Looking around the foothills of Pogo Mountain you stumble upon an eerie place in the woods, seemingly surrounded by fog and permanent darkness. As you stand before a wall of fog a cold shiver runs down your back. However, you gather courage and step through. Enter... Drakula's Castle {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/394d657b4eb951ed6086bca6841cb690e18ed824.png It's up to you to find the missing person! Explore and climb a new smallish map in this halloween themed update (a permanent addition to the game). Unlock a few new cosmetics and achievements, compete for best times or just casually hop around this medium difficulty map. Whatever you prefer. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/ac09c35f2938cf9407324e721df6d0abd1d8125f.gif Please note that this is NOT a "Map 4", neither in scope nor lore-wise. Instead, you will find it listed as a "Bonus Map" in the main menu. Beating any of the previous maps is no requirement to access this new stage. The new update releases for free right about now. Have fun playing this new map, I hope you will enjoy! Superku Map 3: The Root Of All Evil - Out now!Jan 15, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsDestiny calls: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/350168cdea09e24e7ef1a23b19ec2af2f1479a3f.png Somewhere far out into the ocean, there is an island. A mysterious place that can only be reached... from space! After getting over the mountain in Map 1 and falling into the cauldron you find yourself high up in the sky, Before you know it you crash on an island. What will you find at its peak? Explore a map full of branching paths, shortcuts, optional areas and new obstacles and mechanics. Collect various new unlockable items to customize your character even further or make use of the new Pause Effects which expand upon co-op gameplay. This co-op is opt-in and can easily be toggled in the Multiplayer Menu, which is the new name for the Friends Menu. (Note: Map 3 co-op will not be available on launch day. Also, additional co-op Pause Effects might be added at a later point.) {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/fc744c02e9d628a28347feada93367b39372b096.png The update includes 33 new achievements of varying difficulty, indicated by the green background. Getting the Pogo Master rank will still require you to get all 29 blue achievements as it was before, no changes there. (Note: I did not have time to make a unique icon for every achievement yet, those will come at a later point.) {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/8a5482b2b1bef7ed2a84e32d0dd0ed23a7f0950f.png If you manage to get all new achievements and fulfill certain other requirements you now can achieve the prestigious and exclusive rank of Pogo Legend. This title is reserved for the best of the best, and people will see your accomplishment by a green slightly sparkling nameplate in the lobby. Oh, and if you want to go undercover and roleplay as an absolute beginner you now can toggle your name color in the Misc Menu. To check your progress on getting Pogo Legend head to the Wardrobe Menu and press that green new button. The page that comes up will download and sum up all your best times and submit the result to a new competitive Pogo Legend leaderboard. The top ranked players in said leaderboard will get some additional cosmetic options in the future. The update includes various other technical improvements and smaller features, many of which have been patched in last year already. NOTE: I plan to make a few adjustments to the map over the course of the next 2 weeks presumably. These include some graphical updates but small changes to the map layout also. Most importantly though the finale of the map could change slightly, that is the last 5-10%. It is very much not forgiving or lenient right now which would be detrimental to speedrunning in particular. Frustration is what I've tried to avoid with this map. Special thanks to Bobandal for extensive consultation on the Map 3 sketch including some obstacles! Special thanks as well to izumi for the Japanese translation, Julien "UULaCrevette" Petoux & Francys "Cuttyflame" Gaudin for the French translation, Fernando Alvarez Salgado for the Spanish translation, WkaQhdwhdk_레일짬뽕 f...Notice regarding AchievementsJan 1, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsI've just added the 33 new achievements that will launch with the Map 3 content update, launching January 15th. Additional achievements will come at a later point when extra Map 3 game modes get patched in. I want to make sure all of those achievements work fine and can be unlocked at launch. Therefore it was necessary to add them to the Pogostuck Steam backend. As a result, sadly all players lose the 100% achievement completion rate for Pogostuck and will not be able to regain it for the next 14 days. Sorry, and thank you for understanding. Superku {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/b8525d9c407a5df51eb60f2dbf6de26bd7292f56.pngMap 3 Trailer - The Root Of All EvilDec 23, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsThe trailer for the upcoming free Map 3 content update is ready. Watch it here: Pogostuck: The Root Of All Evil launches January 15th, 2022, 9pm CET. For more info about the map and what else comes with the update check my previous news posts or wait for the release day write-up. Thank you, and see you at the top!Update Notice - v4 Patch 30fNov 28, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsI've just pushed a new update live for Pogostuck. It does not include new content but has been in the works for ages still. It uses a new system to establish P2P connections from lobbies. Dead lobbies where you cannot establish connections to most if not all other players (indicated by an X in the live ranking) should be a thing of the past now. Now that the lobby owner does not dictate the player list anymore it was necessary to rewrite the rubber band syncing code. Should you experience issues with this or stumble upon another major bug please let me know! Please note that the new version is incompatible with the old version, so players on different versions might not see each other and rubber bands may break or not function at all. When trying to play with friends please make sure you are all running the new version (you can check the version in the Misc Options menu). Apart from this rewrite the update includes some bug fixes, internal work to prepare for Map 3 as well as a new button in the Multiplayer (Friends) menu to join a different lobby.Map 3 Update - Pause EffectsOct 14, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsWork on Map 3 is slowly but surely coming to an end. Recently I have implemented a new type of customization, that is Pause Effects. You most likely noticed the addition to the Wardrobe menu early 2021 already. So far it only featured the ice freeze effect you unlock when you beat the Map 1 ice mode. In the future you will find 8 new pause effects: VIDEO Use them to customize your pogo character even further or to interact with other players. Point them in the right direction, rate their moves or show them your affection: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/00c93d238f1bb359e66842f641f2a56084438a87.png The Friends menu has been renamed to the Multiplayer menu and now lists an option to opt into pause effect related co-op functionality. Go ham with your friends and shortcut everything by jumping on helper blocks, grapes and even mushrooms (all indicated by eyes on said objects) or help out a stranger in need: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/b6c734fb6b63beb259085b04c718ea62111c01ce.png Note that using this feature will give time penalties as well as prevent you from getting certain if not most Map 3 achievements until you reset your run (a new entry in the Multiplayer menu notes if you have used co-op functionality, including rubber bands, this run). Additionally, the pause effect helper functionality is only available in Map 3 and will never be added to Map 1 nor Map 2. If you paid close attention you might have noticed the pogo stick I was using. Behold, the Pro Stick: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/fc744c02e9d628a28347feada93367b39372b096.png The Pro Stick is made up of only the finest materials. A highly durable but lightweight carbon fiber hull as well as aircraft-grade aluminum reduce the weight by 37% compared to the basic pogo stick. Non-porous water-repellent rubber grips with True Gibster™ linings give the user maximum control. While lacking in comfort, the water-permeable Pro Stick foot pedals deliver ultimate grip, increasing confidence and ultimately results. Pre-order now for only 279,-Eur. Some terms and conditions may apply.Map 3 Development Blog PostAug 29, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsWork on Map 3 continues. I still don't know just yet when it will be done and released. However, I wanted to share some insight into the development of the map. As you might already know the main feature of Map 3 is branching paths and segments, multiple routes to take. One of them is a short strawberry themed precision jump area, reminiscent of the notorious Map 1 pineapples. This is what we will look at today. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/24aa2c68a22e27abfee24ddad8a5d50b7fe70eca.png Note: The screenshots do not show the final visuals of that area. In particular have I used a sprite/ texture from the internet for the grass and the tree leaves which I yet have to replace with my own. The idea sort of came from a pineapple wall obstacle I sketched back in 2019 for a then theoretical Map 2. It was thought to be across and opposing the crocodile and dragon jumps that made it into the map later on. Have a look at that part of my larger Map 2 sketch file from back then (and you'll recognize other areas of said level): {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/bbf843ffb8f6b06f83bba64d1ec09ce637dd2c05.png While I prototyped the new Map 3 (over the course of 5 months, every now and then) I found the following alignment of small obstacles to be best, in terms of challenge, flow and general layout: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/55e49094f5df2f773b0b7cc70e90ba0f2e8c1503.png I had strawberries in mind but some other object also (for example for more spikey things, or have only the left side of that area be strawberries), however I do not recall my exact thoughts anymore. Either way, when I was confident with the map layout I ported the level into Blender, my choice of modeling program, where I turned the (skewed) block based level sketch into actual game geometry. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/a96b1a5dd5bc7129742f96cbdd5955c93c49e8d2.png You can see that the rendering of Map 3 is similar to that of Map 2, in contrast to the more simplistic materials and lighting in Map 1. Taking on the strawberries I started with a basic 3D shape of a strawberry and then figured I have to create the normal map right away. For that purpose I created the monstrosity which can be seen below, with the sole purpose of generating the small blueish normal map in the lower right corner of the image: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/4e7c6629e1fe3660b96f4f3370e85ab06a3c1908.png Using that normal map I could create my first strawberries, move them in position and deform them slightly here and there to fit the level editor sketch as well as for visual reasons. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/84c7079404eec16ad948f203c915d8ad1a20e952.png I realized quickly the polygon count was exploding so I had to "fake" all of the other instances with 2D strawberries, which caused a whole heap of other problems and additional work. The idea now was to create 8 generic and multipurpose 2D strawberries which I would then be able to place into the level and only use up a few polygons for each. This included various steps, some of the...AnnouncementJun 22, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsYes. A new map has been in development for quite some time now. The name of the map as well as the title of the update will be revealed at a later point, for now this teaser image shall suffice: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/c780a1f8179d48d271376b4d48fb4caa80d38011.png The map is very much in development still. I've started designing it in July 2020 already, as a thing on the side while working on new games (and my own new engine). January 4th I called the block based level editor sketch done as I was happy with it. Ever since I've been working on turning that prototype into an actual polished map, either full time or working on other games every now and then. The main reason for map 3 being more work than map 1 and map 2 combined is not an absurd length - it is in fact a bit shorter than map 2 - but its core design principle: Multiple routes, long and short. When you climb the island that is map 3 you choose your own path (at least most of the time). Every segment plays differently and offers a unique challenge, so if you get pogo-stuck try your luck somewhere else. While this new map is rather difficult still, I've tried to enable and allow for "saves" wherever I could. All routes and segments and platforms are as close together as possible without allowing major skips - minor skips are encouraged and have been proactively implemented into the design of the map. As a result, the challenge remains without being as punishing as falls in map 2. The update will include new unlockables, a bunch of achievements, a new Pogo Legend rank and more. Some things which were originally meant to be included in the map 3 update have been patched into the game already, for example the reworked and improved replay system. Additional (for now) experimental extra modes for map 3 and an additional outro might be released at a later point, post map 3 launch. The focus for now solely is on getting the new level done. This however can and will take a bunch of time still. I'll let you know more when I have an estimate for a release date. As before with prior content patches this will again be a free update to the game. I only ask you for your patience, in case you are looking forward to it.Happy Second Anniversary, Patch 22Feb 28, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsTwo years ago Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends released on Steam, so today marks the day of its second anniversary! My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has played the game! ːwinter2019happybulbː {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/0e7f61e74bfe529c3315dfb4dd68d41ff15818cd.png To celebrate both map 1 and map 2 now feature some more or less subtle birthday decoration for one week. Let's have a look at what else has changed in the most recent and the previous two patches: The Sleepy Hat had been temporarily replaced with a red Santa Hat over the festive season. As some people enjoyed differently colored hats I've implemented an item color system, allowing players to choose their own hat colors. This only works for the Sleepy Hat for now but might be expanded to other items in the future. Additionally, you can now set the background color in the video options menu if you prefer to play with background rendering switched off: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/38b8cb8ba7b0fefb5c8999001feaf1960e0e4a52.png The replay interface (which can be found by selecting a replay from the leaderboard while playing map 1 or map 2) has been reworked and improved. It now features the ability to easily toggle between multiple replays and to even manipulate them in sync: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/46d8209e0c4a63456e2b5f8487749901a509529d.png The matchmaking usually only looks for lobbies halfway around the globe. In some scenarios this could lead to players from certain regions to only be able to play with a handful of other players unless they manually joined lobbies. To combat this a so called Lobby distance filter (to be found in the in-game Friends menu) has been introduced where players can choose between standard and now world-wide searches. The downside of being matched with players from all around the globe is potentially fluctuating ping or even packet loss, leading to other players seemingly teleporting around the map. For multiple weeks before the release of map 2 I was trying to add an object or a mechanic at 650m+ and onward that prevented many of the deep falls (in particular those from 800m down to 550m or 450m even). The issue was that all of those conflicted with the general gameplay and intended route going up in that section. At launch a big but invisible jellyfish from the loot mode was in the map still, stemming from my last attempt of trying to prevent said falls. With patch 20 I finally added a helping wind similar to that in map 1 next to the moais: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/e10b157e736667c26fd68ce4f0f1374950ca55f9.png This wind slightly guides you onto the pillar below falling down, possibly allowing for a recovery jump. It's very well possible still to fall in the gap between. Please note from my previous paragraph that this has always been the intended design of that area, I just didn't know how to implement it gracefully. Also, the movement of the ladybugs in the early slopes area of map 2 has been adjusted so they no longer block the view on the player ...Patch 16 - Map 2 Upside-Down Mode, Wardrobe SetupsSep 12, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsPatch 16 just went live. It includes a new game mode for Map 2, the Upside-Down mode: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/6bd9bb43a56b3e0f36fb6f0a23e0dd1fb3093a4b.png That ominous portal only appears once you've completed map 2 at least once. Hop into it and your world will turn upside down, meanwhile teleporting you to the end of the level. If you manage to climb back to the bed at the start of map 2 you will be awarded a new option in the wardrobe menu, the ability to turn your head upside down: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/0f23a2d0f62332f480024843f975e0c0f5b65e55.png Be warned though, this mode is extremely difficult and suited for experts only! Additionally, the update adds Save and Load Setup options to the wardrobe menu, allowing you to store 5 of your favorite character customization setups. As always, have fun and good luck! Patch 14 - New Ice Mode, Tech ImprovementsAug 16, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsPatch 14 just went live. It includes a new game mode for Map 1, the Ice mode: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/401311a443b947a9a2c52b799acfd68310171305.png In that one, as you might have guessed already, 99% of all surfaces are slippery. A true challenge for everyone who has beaten Map 1 previously! You can however play the Map 1 extra modes now as well even if you've never reached the finish line (they appear once you reach experience level 10, or if you type POGO in the main menu). {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/00b38d2baaa2359b050c727197c226f019ae7505.png Activating the ice mode switches the level's theme to a snowy landscape until you reload the level. This means you can play regular modes (i.e. without surfaces being slippery) in that winter landscape if you so desire. Beating the ice mode unlocks a special ability to show off, you freeze when you press pause. This does not count as an unlockable item and it does not contribute to Pogo Mastery. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/52d3f3c39500583701dd8b5838df13030028a8ff.png The update includes some other tech improvements: For as long as the game existed there has been an issue with the movement code where you could get stuck and potentially even glitch into geometry slightly while turning around acute angles/ objects (such as for example a pointy branch). This may be fixed now, or at least should barely ever happen anymore. Not being able to rotate when you're right next to a wall or some other geometry is not a bug. Because of performance problems on multiple machines the ice and flower particles on Map 1 have been replaced by single GPU animated objects each which try to emulate the old behavior. You can always go back to the old style by selecting the corresponding option in the Video options menu. Fixed/ circumvented an engine related issue that could cut down performance drastically when you had a Steam Input device plugged in (such as a Switch Pro Controller or a PS4 gamepad, unless you specifically told Steam to not recognize those). General code related performance improvements on Map 1. Have fun and see you around! ☃️Map 2: The Monolith Of Perseverance - Extra modes now live!Jul 10, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsA new version v4 - Patch 6 just went live. It includes three new extra modes outlined in the previous post. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/0500c2c83c1fbaf120418fcab69f74933b8748a2.png The first of them is the Double Jump (+1) mode. In that mode you receive a charge after every valid pogo stick wall contact. Fire it mid-air by pressing the Action button. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/ee7d2a74448e82b7edfacfb4c092701cb2c6aedc.gif In the 720° Boost mode you can perform a super powered boost jump after doing a 720° turn (645° effectively). This mode and the jumps can be tricky to pull off but when you get it right you can do continuous 720° jumps and fly through sections of the map (for example make it from coconuts to the caterpillar in only 3 jumps). The Puzzle (?) mode allows for even stronger and bigger jumps. In that mode you have full jump power on each wall contact, no 360° flip necessary. The character does not pogo automatically, instead you stick to surfaces and can take your time aiming the next jump. All modes are available right away, beating map 2 prior is not required. Both the Double Jump and the 720 Boost modes are compatible with the rubber band co-op. Note that you can only collect the map 2 specific unlockable wardrobe items in the regular game mode, and most progress based map 2 achievements are tied to the regular game mode as well. The updates includes some bug fixes as well as performance improvements and some new menu options, including a new background rendering toggle option to improve performance on weaker computers. The main feature is a completely new map called Map 2: The Monolith Of Perseverance. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/f24857a87f33199d3355aa59fde1a31b3a4014ab.png You wake up in a comfy bed, surrounded by considerate sunflowers and the calming sound of nature's serenity. A sudden urge to pogo overcomes you, and the only way to go is up. Climb your way up a mysterious 1000 meters deep chasm, overcome unprecedented obstacles and dangers and show the Monolith who's boss! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/5de64b38227e188e9b3976cf16f4fc7585f8c976.png I encourage you and anyone to try and get as far up the 1000m climb as you can, on your own or with friends or strangers in the rubber band co-op mode. Be warned though, this level is harder and longer than map 1 and will pose a formidable challenge to everyone, including the very best. It's the definitive master challenge of playing pogo. If the difficulty is too much or you just want some variety you can try your luck at one of the extra modes instead. In those you will either have a double jump ability (similar to the one in the loot mode) or have super powered boost jumps in the 720° boosts mode. Both modes are easier than playing map 2 normally - they will however unlock only on July 10th, after the first 2 weeks have passed. Until then replays for map 2 will be unavailable as well. (The third extra mode, an experimental puzzle mode where the player does not jump automatically and you can load up super jumps each time, might be up for removal, depending on how it works it.) {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/0500c2c83c1fbaf120418fcab69f74933b8748a2.png If you play the regular map 2 mode you will have the chance of getting 10 new unlockable items/ cosmetics, 6 hats, 2 pogo sticks, one piece of clothing (the doctor's outfit is not related to current events) and a new boost effect. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/21b77b0ed1f10fdd403f679b8bb391e9a074f257.png You get the final item, the master crown, for beating map 2. The player who finishes map 2 first as well as the current world record holders of map 1 and map 2 will get a special colored crown each with a stronger animated glow compared to the regular master crown. The differentiation between those and the implementation will be improved in an upcoming minor update. The other 9 new items you get by collecting them in the level this time, instead of leveling up as you did in map 1: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/2da7cc1ed503d3d0099ee4f5f13e3914a5d29ede.png Given the severity of this update and on popular demand, I've added 14 new achievements to the game. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/3507d397a37e4cd256645bc2a9184500f18fe8be.png My apologies to people who had 100%'ed the game previously on the old achievement count and don't feel like doing it again, to all the others I say good luck! If you manage to unlock all but the final achievement, unlock all cosmetic items and reach at least level 200 you will be added to the new Hall Of Fame leaderboard....Map 2 TrailerJun 2, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsMap 2: The Monolith Of Perseverance releases on June 26th, 2020. It's both a sequel and prequel to map 1, it's longer, harder, the master challenge if you will, following a mostly vertical approach. This free 4th content update will mark the conclusion to Pogostuck. It will include various technical improvements, 10 new unlockable items/ cosmetics as well as multiple ways to play map 2. Extra modes such as "double jump" or "720° boosts" - which are easier than playing it normally this time - will unlock 14 days later, on July 10th. Map 2 will be available to everyone, beating map 1 is not a requirement. The main feature is a new game mode titled Skate With Your Friends. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/96842eaf0177ff38c9a0375b901af7faf95f83e5.gif A short gameplay trailer (the same as on the Steam store page): ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFW8dBfVTEM Skate for fun or chain all kinds of tricks into crazy minute-long combos and compete in leaderboards or live rankings. There's Flip and Grab tricks, Grinds, Manuals, Wallrides, Wallplants and Spine Transfers. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/4ae35559dd32d0ab2edb3d5a390097fea8e8ae45.png There's three new unlockables, Bunny Ears, a Sleepyhead night cap and Wings (+ robe). Make 50k, 150k and 500k point combos to unlock them. (Pressing and holding down the Special button is the key to making long combos, as well as doing grab tricks in pipes to ramp up the base score.) {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/2fb35b31fd56e36c1744e0cc149f8618620a80d8.png The update includes some other smaller changes, such as the usual bug fixes as well as a redesigned mode selection for the Adventure mode for people who have beaten the game at least once. You now select the Skipless or Invisible mode by jumping against the corresponding block from below. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/1472c6c76d7990ca562eb06b737741692f27d963.png Have fun and good luck! :)v2 - Patch 12: Major bug fix addressing random crashesJan 29, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsI have found and fixed a rather severe memory leak in my sound engine where some memory was not being freed after it had been streamed in. Apart from some files such as the ambient loops in Loot With Your Friends this mainly affected music tracks. The game then would crash for anyone with in-game music on just playing long enough (depending on how often music played) and the game window would just either close silently/ immediately or a DirectX error message would appear. This bug has been in the game ever since and probably caused hundreds and thousands of crashes for all kinds of players. Sorry for not finding it sooner! It has been fixed in the recent version v2 - Patch 12. The patch includes some other minor changes, mostly in preparation for the next update called Skate With Your Friends, coming very soon: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/19ccdb2cddd63f06108552ff4073f709d50291a4.png {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34023786/4ae35559dd32d0ab2edb3d5a390097fea8e8ae45.png
