You can select your character (across over 25 options!) and practice your controls, and you can also test your mettle at the obstacle course, improve your combat prowess, check out the game's various abilities and items, and so much more! Over time, Cypress Reel will expand with new content and special events! Manage your resources and inventory, defeat menacing zombies, solve puzzles, and find notes as you explore colossal maps with awesome set-pieces and challenging encounters. Each episode will play out in explosive fashion, with multiple routes and many secrets to discover. You'll face down endless enemy hordes as you attempt to both live and protect innocents. Before the game begins, you have a small period of time to fortify your base with turrets, traps, and more. Once the creatures appear, you'll need to annihilate hundreds of them without losing all of your lives or your civilians in the heat of battle. Multiple maps will be available! Raid mode This arcade-style experience is a blast. Scout sprawling, tight maps, take on the undead masses, and rescue trapped civilians before time runs out! As with the rest of Outbreak: Shades of Horror, Raid mode will be updated with new content and maps over time. Fans of our previous games may even find some fun nods to our history. This patch brings some meaty graphical enhancements to the game, and brings the title up to the 12GB size that was advertised on the store page since launch. If you encounter any instability, just reduce the Texture Quality setting in the Video Settings menu as that area received the biggest upgrade across the game. Patch 3 - Significant graphics improvements across the entire game. Hard drive space usage increased, however run-time RAM usage only appears slightly higher in-game as per our testing. Patch 2 - Added a "Compile Shaders" button to the Settings menu. - Added the Update Notes screen. - High scores now properly save in all parts of the game. - Added an option in Audio Settings to allow you to set the character's voice volume level independently. - Fixed numerous infrequent softlocks on Acts 2, 4, 5, and 6. - Added an option in Game Settings to allow you to specify additional wait time before moving to another area to make it easier to collect items. - Added an option to the Screen Filter Override in the Game Settings menu called "Never Switch", which will ensure no game overlays ever appear on screen. - Added an option to the Game Settings to specify larger bounding boxes on item pickups. This can only be set at the Main Menu. - Items can now only be picked up if they're visible to the player, and cannot be collected through walls or other surfaces anymore. - Improvements to eliminate a very infrequent situation where being grabbed by a zombie would remove your gun. - Additional performance improvements across the title. - Item highlights now appear at greater range.Railbreak is available NOW!
