Monster Girl Dungeon

September 20th, 2022 UpdateSep 20, 2022 - Community Announcements• I've begun adding some autonomy to the girls; if their bladder need is high enough, they'll try to find a toilet themselves • I added a milking machine that you can buy and added the respective milking animations for each girl currently in the game • I added a pregnancy component to each girl so that they will give birth to the chibi version of themselves after mating • I also changed the design of the main level2022 UpdateSep 13, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsThere's now a building system, you can queue up tasks for girls to do, you can buy various items for the girls to use, character customization system, etcJanuary 2022 Progress Report (no new build; just a development log)Jan 25, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsNew sci-fi level, working on user interface, the Possession system consistently returns the girl back to her original AI controller after unpossessing her, and grabbing mechanic Completely Revamped New Game, New Game Design, Redesigned Monster GirlsOct 29, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsNot much else to say, please stay tuned – I will be in the meantime frantically trying to add much, much more content to the game. Let me know what you all think! Thank you. Sincerely, Sclavus.Small update #2 April 6th, 2021Apr 6, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsA reticule will appear when you look at a journal entry and disappear afterwards (I'll add a setting at some point where you can just turn it on and off as desired / as necessary, but I'll have to get to that later) As for the NPCs, I have them all using a collision box that you have to overlap before you can interact with them, but I'll see what I can do about using a line trace (the same as the journal entry) to interact with them instead, as that would be a way more tactile / smoother / more natural form of engaging the NPCs I added music to the gallery When you click the "End episode" button at the end of Episode 9, it is now possible to go back into the menu and end the game from there, rather than having to Alt + F4 or ⊞ Windows Key + X out of the game. Also, I just now noticed Mini (the squirrel girl) has a bald spot on the back of her head, I'll get that in the next build On to the myriad other issuesSmall update April 6th, 2021Apr 6, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsSomebody mentioned a gallery in the reviews, so I added a gallery – now, it's not at the Fallen Doll level of gallery, it's just a linear cycle-through-all-the-monster-girls'-idle-animations-with-one-button thing, very bare-bones (Also, it's not the same type of gallery as in MGI where it takes you to that particular scene in the game – this is just an empty map where you can see all the girls' idle animations) But from this, I hope to be able to build it into a much more advanced gallery (be able to play different animations at runtime, be able to play different dialogues at runtime, be able to take the girls' clothes on and off, etc) This is just to get the gallery started. Also, I just forgot that I didn't add any music to the gallery level, hahahaha On to the myriad other issuesSmall update April 5th, 2021Apr 5, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsI moved all of the girls so they all now live in this one little village It's a new level, I don't think it looks too bad, check it out I wanted to get this build out as soon as possible, so for this build right now, there is no main menuSmall update April 4th, 2021Apr 4, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsI closed up Tsuchi's mouth (the naked tree girl) using the facial rig so that her mouth doesn't just hang wide open which looked kind of uncanny / ugly I think that itself improved her appearance quite a bitSmall update April 3rd, 2021Apr 3, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsI changed Mini's (the squirrel girl) appearance a bit so she looks less uncannySuper small update April 2nd, 2021Apr 2, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsI forgot that I had reset the default UE4 mannequin, which causes all the animations of the girls to reset, so I had to reimport all the animations again. All the animations of the girls should work properly again.Small Update April 2nd, 2021Apr 2, 2021 - Community Announcements• Iterated on Nakayubi's (the mouse girl) design a bit – let me know if she looks any better (I'm trying to get all the girls out of uncanny valley) • I added blinking + a blinking sound effect to Hitsuji's (the sheep girl) idle animation • The player should no longer spawn on top of the door when leaving Debi's (the slime girl) house Unfortunately, this is all that I'm able to do at this time because my hands are completely shot right now (I have some pretty serious overuse injury in both hands from working so much, so it severely limits what I can focus on and how much work I can do at a time, otherwise I'd just keep working indefinitely like a robot) It will be maybe another few weeks before I release another (major) build because there are so many different things that I have to fix or improve on: • Redo all the level design so that it doesn't look like crap, and also so that each level coherently meshes together when traveling between them • Redo and iterate upon most / all the character designs so that they don't look so uncanny, as has been mentioned in the reviews • Implement more than just the bare minimum of content and functionality so that the player doesn't get funneled into a completely linear gameplay • As well as fix / improve upon all of the other things that were mentioned in the reviews, screenshots, comments, etc I suppose that 2 and a ¼ years isn't so bad for the amount of progress that I have made so far – I wish I could do more, but I'm severely limited by overuse / repetitive strain injury. Anyways, thank you for following the development of Monster Girl Dungeon! ♥♥♥Updates Notes April 1st 2021Apr 1, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsFixed / removed some of the problems / bugs mentioned in the screenshots – camera shouldn't clip through the ground anymore, trees have collision (except I forgot those two trees in the beginning of the game, need to do those next build), walls now meet the ground, holding spacebar no longer makes you fly, etc Beginning work on implementing a rudimentary pause menu system + journal + inventory – note that at some point early on in this current build, it will stay disabled for the rest of the game because I still need to do further work on controlling when the menu system should be on or not depending on if there's a gameplay event in progress, as that can screw with the game Added scalability settings that can be accessed from the main menu, and also from in-game by pressing the F key – keep in mind that using the mouse to hit the back button on the scalability menu in-game will not cause the mouse cursor to go away; you have to just hit the F key again – this is because the scalability widget is shared by the Main Menu (which requires the back button) and the in-game version of itself The caterpillar girl's minigame should auto-end itself after some delay after her dialogue has finished cycling through completely Changed the sheep girl's idle animation so that her breasts don't clip through her sweater I forgot to add this as a prompt (it's been there since the last build) – but you can hit the F key during the lewd scenes to switch between first and third-person, use the mouse scroll to change the field of view, and use mouse scroll + shift to move the camera forwards and backwards.
