We'd like to thank all of you who are helping us to locate them. If you think you have found a bug, the best way to help us is to zip the folder %userprofile%\documents\MegatonRainfall and send it to [email protected], explaining what happened. These is the changelog of all the fixes since our launch: - Fixed crash when you try to start the game in a system with certain Razer Chroma peripherals connected. - Fixed incorrect gameplay speed in systems with more than 60 hz display refresh rate and vsync enabled. - Fixed the game settings window in the Steam launcher: it didn't show Language settings. - Tentatively fixed bug where the M1 mission won't start, in systems with low number of CPU cores. - Implemented option to rebind keys. - Implemented option to invert the mouse Y axis. - Now the tutorials will display instructions related to keyboard+mouse if you connected a gamepad but you are playing with keyboard+mouse. So what's next? We are receiving lots of suggestions about possible improvements in the game. The free roam / villain mode is in the top 1 list of the requested features, and also the possibility to buy the OST. Please keep those suggestions coming: although a small team like ours can't promise to implement everything, we'll still be working on improving our game at least for 6 months. But our top priority is still to fix all the bugs and make sure the game works for everyone. Thanks for your support! Alfonso.Wot I Think: Megaton RainfallNov 16, 2017 - Rock, Paper, ShotgunMegaton Rainfall‘s goal is to let you feel like a superhero. Originally created with VR in mind, the earliest build I played years back on an Oculus Rift featured what still makes up the core of the game: swooping around via the gift of flight, trying to blow up alien ships while not accidentally levelling the city around you. Released now in flat-o-vision (I’ve no idea why the PC release is non-VR only, after the PSVR release last month), I find a game containing absolutely astonishing ambition, incredible achievements, beyond comprehension scale and awe, and the weirdest sense that you’re not really being allowed to have fun. Which sounds alright, if you ask me. It’s a first-person superhero game in which you have to repel an alien invasion by firing energy missiles at them from your hands. It was first announced back in 2015 developer Pentadimensional Games has gone a bit quiet since but has popped up with a new trailer and a PS4 release date of 26 September. It sadly can’t be more specific for the PC release date than “later”. Hmph. (more…)
