Life is Feudal: Arden - patch notes 0.27.0.38Jun 5, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, please see below a list of changes and fixes that got implemented during today's hotfix: Animal lore Fixed: calendar now fully displays “Harvest” for farming and animals. "Off-season breeding" We have slightly reworked the new “off-season breeding” mechanic for animals, and now the quality increase is within the old parameters. At the same time, animals can now breed during “off-season” days, but with reduced chance. Also “off-season” borned animals get slightly less chance to be better quality. This change is needed to better balance the speed of quality progression for animals within the timeframe of the upcoming Seasons. Judgement hours (JH) Fixed: the ability to “Get horse” now active only during the HJH for attackers. You would not be able to steal horses from the enemy’s stables during the JH. Combat Changed: scope for bows was improved to increase convenience. Fixed: you can climb simple siege ladders again. Shop Fixed: all instruments from the game shop have 125 durability and 50q. Previously purchased tools were swapped for the new ones. Titles We made a promise to give special titles to the LiF’s most loyal fans. However, while working on this task, we discovered an issue that prevented correct attribution for the titles. Now the problem with the title system have finally been resolved, and players will be able to showcase their achievements in the future. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience! Pre-LTG players of Life is Feudal received the title of “The Ancestor” Pre-Steam players of Life is Feudal received the title of “The Prophet” We hope that noone worthy of this title was left out, and you will wear them with pride! This fix also enables us to provide titles promised in the Early Access packs. We hope that the players will be able to use all of their titles no later than next week. More on the “Seasons”: As the new “seasonal” system was announced, we have received a lot of feedback on what concerns the players, what new elements the community would love to see in the game, and also - what elements people would prefer to keep unchanged. After internal discussion, the team set out to work on a version of a seasonal world where at least a part of the current Arden remains preserved. Although a full wipe would be easier to implement, we believe that the LiF spirit that enables a variety of gameplay styles is what makes the game so special and unique. Therefore, we are willing to make an effort and keep the space for players that prefer a little more perpetuity. We continue to collect your questions for the upcoming dev.stream. Hopefully next week we will be able to go live and share with you the complete vision for the future! "Seasons" are coming to Life is Feudal: Arden!May 30, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsWhen? Summer 2025! Why "Seasons"? With the introduction of "Season 1", we're laying the foundation for a long-term seasonal system in Life is Feudal: Arden. Why? Because we’ve listened — and we know what makes the game shine. 🔁 Seasons help refresh the game experience Seasons don’t erase your story — they highlight it. We want to extend the natural life of the game by resetting progression in a meaningful, structured way every few months. This keeps gameplay fresh, reduces stagnation, and gives every guild and player a fair shot at glory. 🧭 Sandbox worlds need fresh starts Games like Life is Feudal thrive on open-ended freedom, but that freedom can lead to long-term imbalance or world fatigue. A seasonal structure ensures that the game stays dynamic, challenging, and rewarding - no matter how many hours you’ve logged. ⚖️ Better balance over time Longer cycles allow us to fine-tune the meta, progression pace, and PvP dynamics across distinct phases. Instead of one-size-fits-all balance, we’ll now have evolving rules and modifiers per Age. This includes a recipe locking system, where certain buildings, items, and technologies are initially restricted and gradually unlocked as you progress through each Age - creating a natural sense of growth, pacing, and strategic planning. 🌱 We know the early game is peak content Whether you're a lone survivor or a guild strategist, the first weeks of settlement, struggle, and expansion are where Feudal truly comes alive. Seasons let us return to that magic — again and again. 🆕 A platform for new features and events Seasonal resets create natural opportunities for new content: events, cosmetics, meta shifts, modifiers, mechanics, blueprints, and more — all with clear entry points for new and returning players. 🗓️ The long-awaited Season 1 is almost here! Get ready for 26 weeks of war, growth, glory, and legacy!{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45342560/6efbd4c9db49e0ea2ee155c4eaeba9abbd25897a.png We begin with the Age of Awakening — the first of five sequential Ages, each lasting approximately one month, making up a full 6-month seasonal journey through the evolving world of Arden. Every Age unlocks new content, systems, and challenges to keep the experience fresh and dynamic. Here’s what’s coming: 🌱 Early Game Focus Crafting, survival, PvP warm-up, and essential building. Settle fast, or be left behind! 🛠️ Progressive Unlocks Each Age brings unlocked recipes, buildings, gear tiers, and siege equipment – from wooden huts to castle walls. ⚔️ PvP Escalation From week 5, prepare for large-scale PvP, full territory warfare, and the return of Instanced Battles. 🏆 Seasonal Rewards Top guilds will earn exclusive titles, custom guild banners, and in-game rewards that will carry over into future seasons! Guild rankings are determined by seasonal points, which can be earned through: 🛡️ Winning Instanced Battles (IBs), 💰 Guild wealth and overall rank, 🏰 Number of provinces controlled at the end of the season 🏰For Greenzone players, we’ll b...Life is Feudal: Arden - patch notes 0.27.0.36May 29, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, the patch contains some big changes and fixes. It also sets us up for transition to a new gameplay direction. Let's begin! Guilds Fixed: In order to maintain a guild monument on Arden, you need to have at least 5 premium characters as members - otherwise a monument will collapse in 72 hours. However, this mechanic did not work properly, so we had several reports of guilds having less than 5 premium characters without any consequences. Now this issue has been fixed, and the mechanic will work as designed. In conjunction with this, we would also like to announce that the minimal number of characters with premium in a guild is decreased from 5 to 3! Changed: upkeep for extra outposts will be increased. Due to the absence of a limit on outposts for Tier 4 monuments, players have been able to construct and maintain almost unlimited number of outposts. The current situation makes claims more protected, as guilds can maintain multiple layers of outposts without significant upkeep consequences. By introducing a scaling upkeep system, we aim to create a strategic decision-making process where guilds must weigh the cost of additional outposts against their benefits. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45342560/a6d5b5d5f6b9e603805743e9ee9ad0ae42b4e179.png How will it work? An increased upkeep multiplier will be applied to guilds with 8+ non-military outposts; Military outposts will not count towards the total number of outposts for this calculation; This change applies globally to all non-military outposts owned by a guild. Crafting Changed: now the crafting structures will have a list of available recipes. In the “Craft” ability window you will see a “Recipies” button, which will show you all the items you can create with this structure, along with the materials required. For now, this function is enabled for “Big Drying Frame/ Drying Frame” and “Big Tanning Tub/ Tanning Tub”, but it will be expanded in the future patches. N.B. You can experience an issue with indication of hides in a Drying Frame. In this window, the indication will start from 10 hides, but you will only need 1 hide. However, you need to have 10 hides in inventory to launch the process. This is a known issue which will be addressed in our upcoming patches. Changed: "Load of" ability has been adjusted. Reduced required resources: Load of Charcoal: quantity 12->10 Load of Linen hanks: quantity 55->50 Load of Glass: quantity 22->20 Increased required skill level: Load of Charcoal: skill 60->90 Load of Linen hanks: skill 60->90 Load of Glass: skill 60->90 Animal lore Introducing “off-season” breeding for animals New: we’re introducing a new off-season breeding system for animals. Even if an animal is not listed in the current in-game calendar week, it can still provide offsprings. Animals that are “in-season” (as defined by the calendar) will receive full breeding bonuses, including quality increase. “Off-season” animals can now also breed during those days, but with reduced quality bonuses. This giv...Life is feudal: Arden - Patch Notes 0.27.0.33Apr 22, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, With patch 0.27.0.33, we’ve rolled out a number of important fixes and updates that directly address community feedback and ongoing concerns. These changes are aimed at improving your overall gameplay experience and ensuring a smoother, more balanced adventure in the world of Life is Feudal. Character progression Fixed: We received many reports from players that said that their skills would stop growing/decreasing passively after they disconnect. The team has conducted a thorough research and identified the roots of the problem. It appears that one personality could influence the progress in another, for example if a player did not have the skill “Knight” unlocked for personality 1 (the icon displayed as gray, the preceding skill “Cavalry” had 29 points in it), this fact will stall the same skill on personality two (despite setting skill “Knight” to increase, the process will halt once a player disconnects). This issue has been fixed, now a skill should increase/decrease regardless of its status for different personalities. Fixed: The available experience pool will now display correctly after a character loses a portion of it upon death. Personal claims Fixed: There were instances when a player could place two personal claims on the same account on different servers. This bug was fixed. Changed: Max size of a private claim was increased by 50% from 300 to 450 tiles. Guilds Added: Now when guild A changes status with guild B to “Ally”, all players of guild B will receive a notification in the system chat. Added: If a player tries to interact with support points of an outpost of an enemy guild, they will now receive a notification that this action is not possible. Arena Fixed: “Intellect” and “Constitution” stats no longer switch upon entering Arena/IB. Knools Added: The knools can now inflict “wounds” and “broken bones” statuses upon attack. Crafting Fixed: Regionality of resources, blueprints and items has been restored. Changed: To craft a “tabard”, one now needs 1 simple cloth instead of 1 linen cloth. Hunting Fixed: The ability “Look for tracks of peaceful animals/ tracks aggressive animals” sometimes required a character to receive damage from an animal to work properly. Now this issue is resolved. Fixed: We have further improved the tracking system so that the animal’s tracks are displayed properly. Animal lore Fixed: After the stable capacity increase, there was an issue that the maximum food and water storage does not scale properly with the new animal capacity. This issue has now been fixed: “Small Stables” now hold 360 stones of food, “Large Stables” hold 1200 stones of food, both with animals slots filled to maximum. Fixed: We have improved the calculation of quality for eggs in the “Coop”. Now it is possible to get 100q eggs with 100q chickens. Technical Fixed: When using the "Repair" ability, if both the item to repair and the repair kit are stored within inventory containers (e.g., storage box, backpack, sack), the repair kit...Mead Brawl is here!Apr 16, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsCheers, Feudals! One of the long-awaited features is already in place – Instanced Battles are finally launching in Arden! Players can now conquer provinces through intense 25v25 or 50v50 battles. It's time to rally your warriors, sharpen your pikes, pick the sturdiest shields, and prepare for battle – only the strongest will prevail! But there's more to come, as our focus is on optimizing performance and refining key aspects of the game to ensure a smoother experience, with even more enhancements coming in the future. Let’s go over all the details together: Features Changed: With this update, Instance Battles (IB) are now enabled. To launch them you’ll need a Battle Totem, as before. Together with that, the provinces that were previously captured by the guilds during the time when IBs were not fully enabled have been cleared of their owners and are now unclaimed. Character progression Fixed: The issue with leveling skills with a skill cap has been resolved, and it now works correctly for any personality in the Combat skills tree. Fixed: The skill point redistribution now works as intended during passive leveling and remains effective upon re-logging. Bugfixes Fixed: The account inventory has been optimized, ensuring that boosters in the pack activate correctly upon consumption. Fixed: The vulnerability that allowed players to duplicate items in trading posts was addressed. Fixed: The chance to lose maximum durability when using the repair ability now aligns with the specified values: a 3% durability decrease with Repair Kits and a 7% decrease for jewelry. This aspect was missed during the preparation of Arden, and the change has been implemented as we see a lot of items appearing in storages again. At the same time, repairing with a workbench does not lower durability. Fixed: The issue with uploading files in the game client has been addressed, with the terrains being properly installed. Fixed: Decorator's Kit packs purchased in the store now unpack correctly when consumed, with the items being added to the player's inventory. Fixed: Adjustments have been made to the localization to refine certain phrasings. Fixed: Adjustments have been implemented to enhance server stability. Farming Fixed: The maximum number of plants that can be grown in the Large Herbal Garden has been increased to 85. Players can now plant more herbs at one time. Character Abilities Fixed: To prevent abuses, a 120-minute cooldown has been implemented for the /prayfor ability per account, persisting even if a character is deleted and recreated. Fixed: Added the possibility to hide a mount in Admin Lands. UI/UX Improvements Fixed: The effects bar now automatically adjusts its size to fit all buffs and debuffs, expanding when new ones are added and shrinking when they are removed. Fixed: The "Criminal" effect remains after the character's death, but the icon indicating the duration ...The Ultimate 1v1 PvP Tournament in Life is Feudal: Arden!Mar 26, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, Sharpen your blades and ready your skills – the ultimate 1v1 PvP Tournament is here! Let the strongest warrior rise!Life is Feudal: Arden - Patch Notes 0.27.0.26Mar 19, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, This patch focuses on resolving two of the most significant ongoing issues that players have been encountering over time. We’ve worked to fix these persistent problems in hopes of improving your experience in the game. Here’s a breakdown of the changes made and a preview of what to expect in the upcoming patch: Guilds Fixed: The “Destroy” and “Repair” abilities during Holy Judgement Hour (HJH) have been disabled. UX Improvements Fixed: The issue with players being stuck on the “Waiting for Server” screen (WFS error) has been resolved. Updated: We’ve made significant optimizations to the web, including updates to maps, shops, and other key areas, with essential additions and important fixes implemented. If you come across any issues or have additional feedback, don't hesitate to share it as we will continue to refine and enhance the experience for all users. Guilds - Upcoming Changes: We’ve observed the emergence of T4 guilds on the server, which aligns with our initial goal of addressing guild formations. However, we’ve encountered a new challenge related to the cost of maintaining outposts for larger guilds being too low currently. What’s Changing: In the upcoming patch, we will be recalculating the maintenance costs for outposts, particularly when a guild owns more than a certain number. Guilds that control up to 7 outposts will not incur any additional charges, but the costs for maintaining larger holdings could increase by 20-30 times. This adjustment aims to restore balance to the current economy. We’ll closely monitor the impact of these changes and may also look at ways to adjust guild income, such as increasing the loot sale prices from Knools. Here's a little heads-up: gathering a bit more gold now could help keep things smooth when the changes arrive! We’ll be keeping an eye on the results and will make any necessary adjustments. We’re also focused on addressing additional issues in upcoming patches, so keep an eye out for further improvements!Life is Feudal: Arden - Patch Notes 0.27.0.23Mar 11, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, This week’s patch brings a set of fixes aimed at resolving recent issues that have been impacting your experience in the game. Let’s dive into the update and explore the latest changes: Outposts Changed: The Mill outpost now divides resources based on half of its quality, with this mechanic not applying to other outposts. Other outposts will generate resources based on their quality levels. Farming Fixed: The "Flavour" ability has been disabled for several crop items (Onion, Green Onion, Small Onion, Carrot, Sugar Carrot, Cabbage, White Cabbage) to prevent abuse and maintain the intended planting and harvesting process. Arena Fixed: The issue with the DB error during transferring to the arena has been addressed, and transfers are now functioning properly. Fixed: Players will retain all items they entered the arena with. UI/UX Improvements Fixed: The incorrect message about the cell being leveled when skinning has been resolved, and players will now see the correct message. Fixed: A distance check has been implemented in the "Ability planning" mode to ensure that players can only interact with objects within a reasonable range. This prevents players from placing objects too far from them. Fixed: Notifications regarding player actions within the guild will now appear in the guild chat. We hope these updates make your journey smoother, and we’ll continue working on more improvements in future patches, which will include: Improving overall stability, including the unstable behavior of individual servers (which encompasses the issue with WFS after disconnecting from servers); Introducing Instanced Battles (IBs). Please note that IBs were not fully enabled during the previous two days. Provinces that were already claimed will not be reset after this maintenance, and the lands will remain under the control of the guilds that captured them for a brief period. We will provide further details on this matter shortly. Additionally, crafted totems have been removed from inventories, with resources fully refunded to those who crafted them. Thank you for being part of the adventure - stay tuned for what's coming next! Life is Feudal: Arden - 0.27.0.21 patch notesMar 5, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsCharacter progression Added: Players can now change personality builds at Military Outposts. Personal claim management Fixed: Many “green zone” players have suffered unfair losses as other players had the ability to move the carts beyond the claim and then loot them. Now players other than the owner are no longer able to use any interactions with objects inside a personal claim. Guilds Fixed: Military Outposts can be now built on the server border. Changed: The “Trespassers!” ability now applies a constant 180-second criminal debuff to a player. The radius of the “Trespass” ability has also been increased from 20 to 25 tiles. Now guild members should be able to effectively protect their claim against guilds with neutral standing and non-guilded players without losing alignment. Fixed: Certain fiefs still did not permit outpost construction (the whole territory was “red”). That happened due to several terrains overlapping. When terrains overlap on a single fief, the outpost construction will take place based on the terrain of the area to which the fief is attached. Outposts Changed: The production at Mill Outposts has been rebalanced. The following items have been added to production: Big potato Grape vine Rich flax seeds White cabbage seeds Sugar carrot seeds Small onion Green peas Barley Oat Rye Wheat The following items have been removed from production: Flour Crushed oat Rye Flour White Flour Fixed: The quality of resources produced at the mill outpost now depends on its quality, with the product quality being halved from the mill's quality (for ex. Q100 outpost production caps at q50 crops). Forestry Changed: We have received multiple signals from the community about the tree growth being too fast. We have made the necessary adjustments to rebalance this aspect and to decrease the speed of this process. Farming Changed: The production of herbs in the Large Herbal Garden has been increased by 40 per cycle. Additionally, the production cycle time has been extended to 450 minutes, equivalent to 1.56 in-game days. Hunting Fixed: We have finetuned the “Look for tracks of peaceful/aggressive animals” ability. Now, upon using this ability, a player will either be shown tracks of nearby animals, or they will receive a notification that no animals can be found nearby. Crafting Fixed: The "Mass Produce" option has been added to the Storage Box recipe in the workbench. Arena abuse Fixed: Players can no longer register for the arena if they are within the territory of another player's claim (a system message will appear: "You did not accept the invitation to the arena. Your request has been canceled”). UI/UX Improvements Fixed: The Tailors Workshop sign texture has been updated and will appear as intended. Fixed: The Stonemason's workplace UI no longer closes when shaping rock, allowing you to move out shaped rock while continuing the process. Fixed: The "Rules" button has been enabled in the world selection menu.FAQ for beginners and AMA announcementMar 1, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsFeudals, If you're just starting your adventure in Life is Feudal: Arden, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions, based on the latest updates from our FAQs, AMAs, and other community insights, to guide you through initial steps of your journey: How many character slots are available on a single account in Life is Feudal: Arden?
