Check Out The Brand New Club Creation ToolSep 11, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsDear headmasters, It's been a while since our last major update in Let's School, and we truly hope you had a great time in the campus! In the update today, we've decided to address player feedback and introduce a brand new 'Club' mod feature that would allow players to create customized clubs with ease! Along with this customized club support, the team have also prepared 4 additional clubs (Film Club, Archaeologists Club, Robotics Club, Divination Club) for all headmasters to subscribe in the Steam Workshop and try out in-game! Reminder: once subscribed, you'll need to turn on the mod under the mod panel in the main menu {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43281844/e9dbad77877bf0696a1ff8b1f511604150336d97.png Check it out to see what's it like and let us know your feedback in the comments! Create Custom Clubs and Claim Rewards Moreover, we would like to kindly invite all Let's School mod creators to create customized clubs using the mod creation tool! From now on all the way until September 25th, all creators who have made customized clubs for Let's School and have uploaded to Steam Workshop are welcome to join our custom club event for guaranteed Steam gift card prizes. You can fill out the FORM here after uploading to the workshop and we'll grant rewards afterward based on the mod quality & quantity. The team learned a lot over the past year and received all the feedback, encouragement, and support by our dear headmasters. As an indie team, we're so happy to have witnessed the game coming along. I remember back in 2016, Let's School was merely an immature idea in my head. Fast forward to 2024, we now have a growing community and countless headmasters who have enjoyed our game. Upcoming Magical Castles DLC If you've been following up on our social media, especially Reddit lately, you'll probably find some screenshots & tease of our upcoming content pack. And yes you're right, the Magical Castles DLC is coming very soon! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43281844/5fdfb2f9f32ef840e3d533d06e481d04cbc9fbdb.jpg The idea for this DLC dates all the way back to our initial launch, when the team received a whole lot of feedback from players after release. One of which was to add more constructible items in-game. Among all the item suggestions, the magical school-themed idea was extremely popular, which led us to consider it as an option. Although Let's School is a game that primarily focuses on immersive, real-life experiences, we thought it would be cool to add a little magical twist one year later. At the beginning of our creations, the team took a lot of inspiration from the Harry Potter series and other related magical artworks. During the internal discussions, the director realized that he is probably the only muggle in the team and the rest of the team are all hidden Harry Potter/magic fans to some extent. Our only artist, who have been suffering from severe neck pain lately, managed to help produce all the visual assets for the new DLC.
