There is still a long way to go, so don’t expect a release before next year. In the meantime, we’ve redone our website, were you can subscribe to a newsletter if you want news on the project. We also put together a devblog, we’ll talk about isometric wizardry, old school gameplay, and Noodle’s work on the visual department. There’s also a discord server now. We have no idea how this will work (we were still on IRC two years ago) but this will probably be a way better place to discuss the game than the actual Steam forums. So let’s celebrate this announcement with 50% off the first game for the week. Have fun! Changes for version 1.2.2 - 5 new sandbox maps - New special Halloween decorations - Some corrections in the English version If you want to continue playing the classic version nonetheless during these 3 weeks, you can follow the instructions we put on the forums. Obviously, the new content provided by the 1.2.2 is available anyway. Note: The Halloween event is exclusive on Steam. The DRM Free versions will be updated with the 1.2.2 in the coming days. In order to celebrate all that, Lethis – Path of Progress is 15% off for 3 days! So spread the word and help grow the community! Now, some news. As you know, we’re a small indie studio, with limited resources. A few weeks ago, we said goodbye to our animator and our engine programmer, who went to look for new opportunities. This means the 4 of us left won’t be able to heavily support the game. To be perfectly honest with you, this means that: - We won’t port the game on Mac & Linux - We can’t work on the Intel integrated chipset support Lethis – Path of Progress hasn’t reached its ROI (Return on Investment) yet, but we hope that with the help of the sales it will soon be the case, meaning we will have earned as much money as we spent to make the game. The sad reality is that 9 out of 10 games never reach that point. The studio’s financial situation stays fragile, and we have some choices to make. Lastly, we want to share, that we’re working on another game, which will take place in the Lethis universe too! In the near future, we will be releasing our translation files in English, French and German to the community, so that all interested people may translate the game into their language! If some of you are interested in helping out, we'd be very happy! The document will be published on Google Drive. We will give access to this document to people dedicated to translate the game. You can ask for the administration rights of the file by contacting us via: [email protected]. You’ll need to explain in which language you want to translate (or correct) the document, as well as how well you can speak the said language. The document's main administrator for a language will be chosen by our team, and he/she will be free to translate everything and will be responsible if multiple people want to translate the game into a new language. We then can effectively structure the translations and translators into groups, who and which are under the responsibility of the administrator.
