NEW GEAR SYSTEM, DUAL STRONGHOLD BOSSES, COSMETICS & MORE!!! Greetings Maiden Nation! This is your Maiden Commander speaking! We couldn't be happier to show our progress on the upcoming expansion League of Maidens "The Realm of Shadows"! To date we are 80% complete on the expansion making consistent progress on the build daily and we cannot wait for you all to play! Until then, we would like to share some information on just a few of the huge content and system additions coming in the next expansion. Let's jump right in! NEW GEAR PROGRESSION SYSTEM We are extremely happy to announce the completion of the work on a new Enchantment System that will allow players to take any piece of existing gear (T1-T3) and enchant the gear with certain buffs which will apply to certain enemies. The first of the available enchantments is called "The Corruption". Players will be able to place their gear within a Shadow Forge located in the new TROS zone to Corrupt their gear from +1 to +15 across (3) different tiers (T1-T3) with gear dropping within the Realm of Shadows having a possibility of being corrupt from Tier 1 +1 up to +10 which makes for anywhere from 35 to 45 levels of progression for each gear piece. Gear corruption levels are separated into 3 tiers requiring players to need T3 gear with Corruption Tier 3 and Corruption Level +15 on all (6) gear pieces to get a maximum of 90% damage buff on all Shadow enemies within the Realm of Shadows. This along with a 10% damage boost from a newly added Dark Essence (more info to come) will provide a combined 100% damage bonus for all Shadow enemies and Stronghold Bosses located within the new expansion. Be sure to check out a preview image of the updated UI which features the corruption tier and level of gear below. CORRUPTION VISUAL EFFECTS We are adding a cool new feature which visualizes the corruption level on your character in four stages. As players increase their corruption levels across all gear pieces their character will begin to take on a more sinister look which will help make it immediately clear how corrupt a player has become. This visual effect is free for all players and it can be combined with existing aura effects. Lastly this visual effect can be toggled on and off should a player not wish to alter their characters appearance based on corruption levels within the character customization interface. Please keep in mind that any architectural or server related (backend) changes will come with a risk of problems that may occur. We will be monitoring the connections once the patch goes live. We want to thank you for your patience in providing feedback. We hear your concerns and have done our best to address them with the hotfix. Our primary focus has been to reduce the grind and increase the rewards. We have significantly increased rewards for OSOT specific repeatable quests and reduced cost for those quests as well. We've also reduced the cost to prestige and increased the base INT for crafting by 30 points. The T2 Cube cost for T2 to T3 Cube trading has been reduced by 50%, Creeper and Swarm movement speed have been reverted and a host of other fixes coming in the 1.6.0a hotfix. (edited) 8 - Fixed a bug that caused the Diamond and Shard options for Prestiging to not be visible after Prestige level 100. 9 - Updated the dialog from the quest NPC that references Wind Skating being purchasable by the ability trainer instead of attainable via Watcher quest. 10 - Fixed a bug that caused players to get locked out of flying when traveling from the Underground Sewer to the Santonia Islands. 11 - Updated the description of Atonement Requests to clearly convey their use. 12 - Fixed a bug that caused dynamic tails to not work correctly when in Size Matters. 13 - Fixed a bug that required players to be Guardian Level 15 before excepting some quests. Was caused by a flag for the rewards like Incarnate Stones having a Guardian Level Requirement. 14 - Fixed a bug that caused Watchers to be visible outside of Strongholds. 15 - Fixed a bug that caused Combo quests to not register Combos if the player disabled the Combo UI graphic. 16 - Fixed a bug that caused the Shard calculation for Prestiging level to not be correct.
