Here is the change log: • New Reassessment rules and interface. • Several updates to the Token Help popup. • Added an "end-of-turn" phase for the Jihadist player so that cadres can be removed before passing play to their opponent. • Disrupt overlay now shows the status of selected cells/cadres after resolving. • Fixed an issue where information on the Disrupt overlay would disappear when selecting a second target. • Fixed some display issues regarding the Tony Blair overlay. • Fixed an issue with Radicalization not sending the correct plot event. • Fixed an issue where "Adam Gadahn" was not displaying the Recruit overlay. • Fixed an issue where the Posture tokens on the GWOT/Prestige popup could be dragged. • Fixed various missing button sounds. • Fixed OPs Tray issues for various resolutions. • Fixed some Rulebook art and text issues. Fixed a bug where...Hands on with the digital adaptation of Labyrinth: The War on Terror (Early Access)Dec 2, 2020 - Wargamer.comIt has been more than two years since developer Playdek announced a digital adaptation of Labyrinth: The War on Terror as part of a multi-title deal with GMT Games. Serious fans of the board game may have jumped in when Labyrinth hit Early Access this past March on Steam but the recent focus on the game through Steam's Table-Top Event likely has piqued more interest. Are you wondering whether the game is ready for prime time? Read on. It hardly seems possible to consider Labyrinth: The War on Terror without returning first to Twilight Struggle (2005). The similarities are no accident. Designer Volko Runke explains that the idea came out of a discussion on how to make a serious game about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the overall War on Terror. Runke saw a parallel with the bipolar, ideological struggle of the Cold War and imagined that his game could capture the essence of our current clash of civilizations using Twilight Struggle's mechanics. While fans had to wait until 2020 for a true follow-on, the board version of Labyrinth started down that path ten years ago. Computer players, on the other hand, were kept waiting until 2016 for the much-anticipated computer version of Twilight Struggle. Shortly thereafter, an extended collaboration was announced for more conversions. Not surprisingly, Labyrinth topped that list, a promise now on its way to fruition. Read the rest of the story... We really appreciate the tremendous support that has been shown for Labyrinth. We are truly thankful to be able to work with such a great community of gamers. Your feedback has been very helpful and we encourage you to continue to provide your issues, thoughts and ideas here in the Steam community hub. We are making continued progress on fixing and polishing Labyrinth while also working to bring more features online. The latest update is out and with it comes a significant rework to the structure of the Jihadist tutorial. From here each section will be modified further with additional art cues and improved flow but this gets it headed down that path. The U.S. tutorial will also get the same treatment. This update also has quite a few interface clean up improvements as well numerous rules and bug fixes. The patch note details can be found here: For the Mac build, we are making progress with Unity and the Mac certification issue. There have been a few more hurdles than we anticipated but estimate that the full Mac release will be ready by the end of next week. As for the near term roadmap, we are working with the Labyrinth design team on advanced tutorials that go into further depth on key game aspects as well as general game strategies. We will bring these online in steps and get community feedback at each stage. These will be next in the major update queue with A.I. coming after that. We appreciate the patience shown while we worked through the submission process and are very glad to have the game out for everyone to play and enjoy.
