FIX PATCH v0.4.1May 23, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsHello Chefs 👨🍳👩🍳, We're back with another update! Over the past week, we've carefully listened to your feedback and decided to release this mid-cycle patch completely focusing on fixes and adjustments between the huge updates we're still working on. Rest assured, we hear you loud and clear and we’re always keeping a close eye on your feedbacks on Kebab Chefs! 🔧 Co-op Room Disconnection Issue We’ve resolved a bug that caused players to be kicked from co-op sessions especially while managing the second restaurant. You can now cook with friends without interruptions! 🚶 Customer Stuck in Front of Second Restaurant Fixed an issue where customers would get stuck outside the second restaurant in some cases. 🚶 Customers Getting Stuck Near Service Counters Fixed an issue where in some rare cases, customers would stand still even when there is food on the service counters. 🎮 Players Moving Forward on Its Own Some players reported that their character would move forward automatically without any input. Interestingly, we noticed that disabling Steam Input via the Steam interface helped resolve the issue for several users. While we haven’t yet been able to reproduce this bug consistently, we believe we’ve addressed the root cause behind it in this update. Please give it another try and let us know if the issue persists. We greatly appreciate your continued feedback. In addition, we’ve made improvements to the descriptions of several recipes including Pumpkin Soup, Egg Salad, and Veggie Pizza to make them more clearer and more informative for all our aspiring chefs. 🔎 Objects Disappearing from Drawers Fixed a bug where items placed in certain drawers would disappear after reloading your save file. Other Fixes - Fixed waiters rushing out of the restaurant to clean up broken plates and glasses. - Fixed an issue where ingredients on cookpot get flickering while transferring into a bowl, Pumpkin or Zurek bread. - Fixed counter with sliding doors doesn't work. It's cool to have a daily menu every day. But the problem with the current menu system was that it was being quite dull. There were no parameters or conditions that can influence the way we prepare our daily menu. That's why we felt the need to give a purpose for creating a menu every day. Also each of these tags have their unique menu bonuses which you can combine and benefit from! You can find the current bonus table on the left side of your menu. You can unlock new recipes by leveling up each category on it's own! What About Already Existing Saves? As you know, Kebab Chefs is still in early access and can still may get save resetting features until the full release. But it's not the case now. We also made a merging between the old and new system that can predict the levels on each category according to your game progress. And just like a real restaurant, trends will shift over time, meaning the best combinations won't stay the same forever! As you may know we've released a brand new game mode "Chef's Arena" and we've been making other content updates recently. We're very happy for the interest after our latest update. You can try it out by creating a new game if you haven't yet. In this update, we wanted to make some fixes and improvements for the most known issues in the game. We also wan't to give you some update about what we are currently working on. Here's our freshly whipped up a batch of fixes and improvements to make your cooking adventures much smoother and more flavorful than ever! 🍳 Sync Improvements {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38829978/f25202fd0684e3555fec539cff6d65b8c12d54d3.png One of the most known issues was the desync problem across the players, affecting certain mechanics like food rating. This was causing players to get different dish ratings on some cases. We've made improvements for the issues where the baking progress of foods would desynchronize when playing co-op. Now your dishes are even more safer for perfectly timings. 💾 Saving Problem {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38829978/f25202fd0684e3555fec539cff6d65b8c12d54d3.png We were working on a very rare occuring issue where some players are having problems with saving their game progress. This was an issue that our team was investigating for a while. Finally, we've adressed the issue with the help of our community! After some long time testings, most of the players who contributed have reported that they no longer have any trouble with saving the game progress. ✨ Bug Fixes {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38829978/f25202fd0684e3555fec539cff6d65b8c12d54d3.png Food Rating Adjustments: Fine-tuned and fixed issues with the food rating scores for a more accurate evaluation of your dishes. Day Skipping Issue Fixed: Addressed a bug where a few days would skip after starting the game. Now, time flows just as it should. Mouse Invert Toggle Fixed: The invert mouse option now works properly during gameplay! Drunk Effect Restored: Fixed the missing drunk effect. You can keep enjoying your drinks! Autoslicer: Fixed issue with autoslicer machine where vegetables may get stuck in the machine. Before talking about what is next, we want to share an upcoming game from our friends with you!
