1.32 Small bug fix patchMay 18, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsWHAT'S NEW - Fixed the bard summon button description to properly reflect the current debuff from other bards. Also fixed the bard skill description to correctly display the debuff as 1% for each other bard. Updated the bardsong modifier description and jester summon button description to show the correct bard buffs at any given time. - Fixed some bugs around reset prestige and legendary items. Legendary items will now de-equip from all slots when prestige is reset. Removed an exploit that allowed players to equip in slot 3 and 4 after resetting prestige. - Fixed a bug where hell gates would incorrectly apply a stack of hell's blessing on activation. The change was made to try and allow for more experimentation, but I didn't fully consider how it would affect the pacing and game balance, in addition to allowing players to get stuck on certain walls. I've tested on 1920x1080 and 1366x768 resolutions and it's looking a lot better. Also increased the character spacing on text descriptions slightly. - Added a fix for a bug that would prevent walls from loading properly after a wall was defeated. - Fixed a few typos in the quest and spell descriptions. PERFORMANCE - Better performance with a high number of volcanoes active. - Better performance when summoning at high levels/volumes with skeleton nobles, mimics and recruiters. This also helps with rapid sacrificing like chain lightning. - Better performance with laser boots and rapid invocations. QUALITY OF LIFE - Added a toggle for corrupted orb minions so that they can be deactivated separately. - Added indicator text to show when new game+ modes are unlocked after completing the game. BUG FIX - Removed hugger damage buff from archdevil description. Hugger damage has not reduced, this buff description was an error. - Forbidden contract now properly buffs huggers (based on angels). - Fixed a bug that affected Lesser and Greater Mastery skills in combination with prestige skill cap buffing. - Fixed item 'equipped' icons getting stuck after prestige reset. - False flag will no longer fire during the ending sequence. BUG - Auto-summon now enabled by default, UI appears with unlock of goblin crown also. - Added a fix to help with memory leaks when starting a new game. - Some redundant wall abilities removed from NG+. - Small performance enhancements. BALANCE - NG+3 walls 26-28 have new abilties, 'Skeleton Key' has been removed from these. - NG+FINAL wall 70 nerfed to allow more strategies (Security removed). Cheers, Adam1.2 New game+ and Prestige Update!Jan 23, 2025 - Community AnnouncementsNEW GAME+ AND PRESTIGE POINTS - New game+ unlocks after beating the game for the first time. - New game + walls have more HP and powerful new resistances and abilities. - Four NG+ modes to unlock. - Unlock prestige points in NG+ to spend on powerful super upgrades. - Use prestige points to take skills higher, buff the multipliers and unlock 10x new legendary items. - Reset your prestige points at any time, no restart required! - Prestige points persist between games, and will purify your soul? SKILL AND ITEMS - New Auto-gauntlet item unlocks early and will click on your behalf! - Better support for orb-clicking: Orb Feedback now deals damage based on click mana. Soul Resonance becomes Orb Studies, Wizard glass and Gathering now buff click mana. Wiz glass can now also fully prevent cracking. - Replaced 'Seepage' with 'Strength in Numbers' a new skill that buffs damage for every 100 minions. - Bone Royalty and Mimicry skills now buff the summoned minions. - Magnify now buffs poison dagger. - Spider damage buffed. Insect plague now buffs spider also. - Mystics buffed, they now boost damage of bone spear for every Mystic on the field. - Mana Rock, Rudis and Holy Vial now scale up as walls are defeated. - Some smaller balance changes aimed at making more strategies viable. QUALITY-OF-LIFE - New summon limit control! Set the maximum number of skeletons, goblins or cultists to auto-summon. Thank you! -Adam1.13 Small bug fix patchNov 21, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsBUG - Fixed a bug that affected soul populations when re-summoning angels and archdevil on startup. - Fixed a visual bug where fractures would appear to stay active. - Fixed a bug that allowed volcanoes to exceed the cap of 300. - Made a fix to prevent Bard's mana multiplier going negative, resulting in mana debt. - Stopped the gathering skill from making a useless spell appear. - Archdevil mana cost now scales correctly with population. BALANCE - Fractures now last 5 minutes instead of forever. A Backup save file is now kept locally in the PlayerPrefs, which will be used in case the main file is corrupted. This should be quite robust, but won't help anyone already affected. - Fixed a memory leak caused by a Unity allocation texture bug. This should help performance and reduce crashes when running the game long-term. - Fixed a bug with boozookas getting stuck on endless mode. - Fixed Mana Fang readout to display correctly. - Fixed minion sprites getting rotated. If your achievement was missed and it's still not coming through, to get the achievement quickly you can edit your save file (Change key for "GameCompletions" to 1). BUG FIX - Fixed achievements not being achieved on finishing the game. - Missed achievements should retro-actively apply after updating + running the game. - Fixed finish quest UI being in the wrong place. BALANCE - Nerfed Bane Dragons slightly (Dragons still OP). OTHER / QOL - The tutorial wont replay when you start a new game. - The final bonesley dialog is now skippable. - Ending endless shows a final screen like finishing the game. This fix may help players who reported their save files being wiped. GENERAL / QOL - Fixed some UI problems where controls weren't visible on some resolutions. Steam deck resolution (1280x800) is also now supported. I don't have access to a steam deck yet, but I've seen that some people are playing on there. Please let me know what needs improvement on steam deck! - Improved chain lightning performance. - Variety of fixes to improve general performance + make use of the GPU. - Added totals for souls and skill points. BALANCE - Halved damage that Blight Ghosts get from skill points. - Imbue reduced to 3% bonus poison from 5% per level. - Hydras now give 2% bonus poison per level down from 3%. - Knight base and skill point damage increased by 50%. - Orb feedback damage buffed x10. You no longer need to sacrifice your units to stop them summoning. Appears once skeleton noble is unlocked. - Updated the knighted duck's name to 'Sir Wade, The Uncooked'. - Walls that attack your minions now only attack once they are below 95% health. This should allow a more stress-free setup on offensive walls. BUG - Made a fix to hopefully fix a bug that was preventing progress on wall 25. This one was to reproduce, so if you're still affected please let me know. -Fixed a bug that caused dragon damage to go below zero, which would heal the wall and prevent all damage.
