New Release AnnoucementApr 17, 2022 - Community AnnouncementsHello Adventurers, It's been a while, sorry for the long wait, we'll have a major release this week! After the update, players that already bought the game will receive the new character Stray Cat. In the meantime, the new character Ronin will be released as DLC. We'll also be add new features such as Seasonal Tasks and Ladder Rank rewards (which will be reset and calculated on release, so you will be rewarded once if you are in the ladder board). The Journey now functions like a free Battle Pass with Weekly Rewards removed. Lastly, we'll be adjusting the price of the base game to $12.99 after the update (other currencies will be adjusted accordingly), which won't be affecting the players that has already bought the game. Casual Mode is now "Normal" Mode, when new players play in this mode, they no longer need to predict islands. i.After reaching Expert I (1050 Ladder Points), you'll no longer be able to gain Ladder Points in this mode ii.You can turn on "Adventure Mode" in the match settings after reaching Expert I. iii.After reaching Expert II (1330 Ladder Points), "Adventure Mode" will be turned on by default. b. Ladder Mode is now "Adventure" Mode, it will be unlocked when you reach Expert I. c. Adding "Arena" Mode, unlocked after reaching Adventurer II (2500 Ladder Points) 2. Arena Mode: a. You can enter for free once everyday, afterwards you need 200 Coins to enter. b. You can pick two unlockable characters to mix and forge your deck. c. You deck consists of 5 sets of card packs from the two characters. Each card pack consists 3 Skill Cards and 1 Island Card, which is picked from 4 packs randomly generated from the system. d. You gain 1 point for winning each match, and 1 extra point for getting Big Winner. You can get rewards based on the points you get. e. After losing twice or winning 8 points, the arena run is completed. f. When you completed your run and claimed all the rewards, you can start another Arena run by either paying 200 Coins or wait till the next day. 3. You can open ten barrels at a time now in the Pack Screen. 4. A lot of changes has been made since the last update, including a new in-game mechanics, a few UI reworks, better tutorials (hopefully), lots of card changes, along with some quality of life updates. Here are the details: 1. New mechanic "Last One Standing" -- Players will be guaranteed at least 100 Coins if they become the only active player at each stage. 2. Added 6 new skill cards 3. Added a few fast-search keywords in the card browser 4. Added a islands deduction assistant for new players 5. New players now have time (15s) to read the cards played by other players by tapping on it 6. You can now copy and share your deck 7. The deck editor can now auto-fill your deck if it's incomplete when saving. 8. You won't get duplicate Legendary cards from barrels until you get all of them 9. You can now get more deck slots 10. You can now join a friend's room through the Friends panel. 11. Some of the long lasting buff effects will now be stackable and merged into one buff. 12. Open Barrel, Store and Training Camp UI are now improved. 13. You can now set your user portrait in the Trove, and it will be visible in the Friends and Room Panel 14. We've since made a few changes about those issues and thanks in advance for your passion! There is now one major change in our core gameplay: Your coins will now be split between other active players after you're dead.We believe this change will enhance the overall gameplay experience, making each turn more nerve-racking and balance out some of the core strategies for each character. Hopefully, this change will negate the necessity of the Purify mechanic - a negative experience to anyone who is affected by this effect. Therefore, we made a few changes to those Purify cards across the board. In addition to that, we also tweaked the Skill Card "Funeral", which has made the ladder environment pretty toxic recently. All in all, this is a pretty big change, and we do hope you will enjoy this as much as we do. However, we do understand that this change could potentially bring a lot of new issues and challenges, that's why we welcome any feedback and suggestions. After all, we all share the same goal of making this a better game! Here is the change-log: 1. When your character's Health reaches 0, your coins will be split between other active players, the remaining coins will be set to 0; 2. You can now only unlock Dancer and Taoist after you reach the Master rank 3. Tweaked the ladder protection value of certain ranks 4. Added a new keyword -- Wound: Whenever you restore Health, your Wound and the Health you would restore would cancel each other out. 3. You start drawing additional cards at turn 2 instead of 3. We now display how many cards are left in your deck. 4. The longest wait time in the Casual Mode is now 180s instead of 40s. 5. There's a red dot on the UI when there are rewards to collect in the Training Camp. 6. Revised some of the arts and changed some card names accordingly. 7. In this update we bring you Taoist - a young prodigy who is a master of Yin-Yang travels oversea to uncover the mystery of life. This is a character for seasoned players since most of its cards utilize Yin and Yang points which requires a lot of setups and think ahead. And this is the only character that can Attack other players so far (even though delayed, it's still a lot of damage). As general guideline, Yin is mostly for hurting other players and Yang is for building up yourself, how strong this character is depends largely on how you balance Yin and Yang. Also, here is the list of other changes for this update: 1.
