Additionally, due to unavoidable circumstances, we will temporarily roll the game back to the 2022 version. In a previous announcement, we mentioned that a rollback would not be necessary. They told me to keep the game as normal for the time being. In other words, it looks like we won’t need to re-roll the game. The announcement we posted earlier has been rolled back. If their reply had come just 3 or 4 hours earlier, this whole mix-up could’ve been avoided… (I really didn’t have a choice — there were just seven hours left before the deadline they gave us.) Still, I feel a bit relieved now. It really hurt to feel like we were taking the game away from our players. That said, the sales suspension of our game is likely to continue for a while. At the request of Steam, our game has been rolled back to the 2022 alpha version. Upon launching the game, you may see a crude UI and unfinished content. We are truly sorry for this inconvenience. Estimated Recovery Time It will take approximately 3 weeks to 1 month to restore the game to its intended state. We sincerely apologize to all existing players for the disruption. Below is a detailed explanation regarding this matter. A four-line summary is also provided at the bottom. Reason for Rollback Steam has informed us that the current version of the game "includes explicit content that was not present during the 2022 review." They stated that such characters (or elements) must be distributed as a separate DLC. Accordingly, Steam presented us with two options: Roll the game back to the 2022 version. If not, face the potential termination of business relations. As a result, our game has been temporarily delisted, and in the worst-case scenario, we could be permanently removed from Steam. To prevent such an outcome, we had no choice but to proceed with the rollback. Future Measures We plan to re-release the current content in the form of a DLC. According to Steam’s policies, DLCs require a minimum of two weeks of review time. We estimate that the full recovery process will take 3 weeks to 1 month. During this period, existing purchasers may experience the game in an incomplete state. We once again sincerely apologize for this. For users You won't notice any major gameplay changes, we've made a lot of systemic changes. In addition Rewards for Explorer Stages 2 and 3 have been temporarily removed. Those two stages were rewarded with AI images. We've been thinking about what to do with that for a while. We decided to take the plunge and remove them and replace them with new illustrations. Steam hasn't pointed out any AI-related issues, but it's been a bit of an annoyance. This will take a month or two. And around the time of the update, we'll be releasing a new costume DLC.
