Patch 1.0.8Oct 19, 2021 - Community Announcements- Fixed issue that was making leaderboards unable to communicate properly with Steam. Recently, the leaderboards just suddenly stopped working. Fixing them ended up being rather involved, and resulted in old save files no longer being compatible. Luckily, I was able to make a converter for the save files, but it has to be a separate, stand-alone program you'll need to download and run. I would have liked to just do this automatically in the game itself, but it wasn't possible for technical reasons. Please see this post for the download link and instructions: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1121270/discussions/0/5358712989075080734/ The whole process should only take a couple minutes and basically just amounts to downloading the converter and clicking a button in it.Path 1.0.7Sep 22, 2020 - Community Announcements1.0.7 - There is a new merchant in town with lots of scarves for sale! This should make for some fun additional character customization. - Fixed minor camera issue so that it can handle world geometry clipping situations more smoothly. - Lowered base sensitivity of ground camera rotation. If you previously adjusted the horizontal camera rotation sensitivity in the settings menu, you may need to readjust it now if it doesn't feel sensitive enough anymore.Patch 1.0.6Jul 12, 2020 - Community Announcements- A new shop selling a variety of goggles has opened for business! This brings some new character customization, as well as being another place to spend the gold earned from successful flights. - Added player inventory for items. Things purchased from the new goggle shop are stored (and equipped from) here. Note: If you already have existing save files, you might notice the game taking a little longer to start up than normal the first time it's run with this new update. This is because the file format of the save files has changed, and the game needs to convert the old files to the new format before loading.Patch 1.0.5Jul 2, 2020 - Community Announcements- There is a new leaderboard displayed on the wall of the Flight Guild which shows the current top players' overall, combined high scores (meaning the sum of each player's high scores across all levels). - It's now possible to adjust controller analog stick dead-zones with the "Calibrate" button in the Controls panel of the Settings Menu. This should be useful for players who are using a controller that has loose or worn-out analog sticks.Patch 1.0.4Feb 13, 2020 - Community Announcements- The Glovesmith is now open for business! Here you can change the glow color of your gloves if you wish. - In Balloon mode, when you've collected all but one balloon, that final balloon will now be visibly marked, to make it easier to find. - An extra fish swarm has been added to Mountains level in Fishing mode, in order to better balance it. - Fixed issue that could cause player character to get stuck in charging animation under certain conditions (getting pushed by a moving object which charging, such as an airship propeller). {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/36379147/35ddb52f59ee969a5a246370b0445ede241a819b.gifPatch 1.0.3Feb 6, 2020 - Community Announcements- Added "Limit Maximum Roll" option. Enabling this will attempt to prevent you from rolling upside-down, instead limiting you to only rolling over on to your side. It will also attempt to bring you to a leveled-off, upright position when you stop rolling. This option is intended only for players who might be experiencing disorientation or motion sickness while rolling, since losing the ability to fully roll over will of course limit the types of maneuvers you can pull off while in flight.patch 1.0.2Feb 5, 2020 - Community Announcements- Fishing mode no longer resets upon player's death. Instead, you simply respawn, keeping the number of fish you've caught, and with the timer still running (basically like how it works in Balloon Collection mode). - Fish catch radius has been increased, making them easier to grab. This will make it easier to catch more fish at once. Previously, it wasn't uncommon to catch only one or two even when flying straight through the middle of a school of fish. This should rarely happen now, making scooping up a handful of fish at once more satisfying. - The thresholds for achieving certain ranks on various levels in Fishing mode have been adjusted. Due to the two above changes, it's now significantly easier to accumulate fish, so this has been increased in order to prevent S-ranking everything from being too easy. A couple levels (in particular City of Towers) have had the thresholds for their lower ranks decreased however, as they seemed too difficult previously. - Fish should no longer be able to clip inside level geometry. - Player's name/score in leaderboard results is now in bold text. This will make it easier to see at a glance where you are in the results. - Fixed bug that prevented Restart button from working properly in Balloon Collection mode (thanks to Brachragon for finding this bug!). - Fixed bug that could prevent results from being uploaded to leaderboard in Balloon Collection mode (thanks to Ozzi for discovering this!). - Fixed level goal text banner partially obscuring Settings menu.Patch 1.0.1Jan 31, 2020 - Community Announcements- Minimum score goal for Mountains level has been lowered from 15k to 8k in order to better balance it's difficulty. Judging by the number of people on each leaderboard, this level seamed to be a pretty significant difficulty spike. Due to this level's design, it's one of the tricker ones to maintain a large combo multiplier on, and so it's minimum score goal has been adjusted to compensate. This should hopefully prevent people from getting stuck on this level for an unreasonably long time. - The Flight Sensitivity setting has been split into two separate settings, one for Controllers, and one for Mouse & Keyboard. If you previously changed the old setting, you may need to readjust it now. This should make it easier for people to experiment with the controls, and find their preferred setup. - All sensitivity sliders can now be lowered to a minimum of 10% if desired (the previous minimum value was 50%). This change is to better accommodate people who might be playing with really high sensitivity mice or other input devices. - The Invert Y Axis option has also been split into two separate settings for Mouse & Keyboard and Controllers. If you previously changed the old setting, you may need to readjust it now. - The Flight Rating requirements to unlock levels after Sunken City have been lowered. Previously, many of these were set so that beating each of the previous levels with only a grade of 'D' was not enough to unlock subsequent levels, This is now only the case for the final few levels. I think this change will allow more people to experience more of the game, without compromising it's actual challenge (since the focus is really on achieving higher grades and climbing the leaderboards, rather than just beating the levels at the minimum goal). - Leaderboards now display the grade achieved next to each score. This makes it easier to compare scores at a glance, and to quickly get a feel for each leaderboard's scores as a whole. - The artist of each music track is now displayed on the music player under the track name, instead of just in the Credits. I'm guessing that most people probably don't actually look at the Credits screen, so this way the artists who made each track will get better recognition. - Fixed issue that prevented Speed Demon achievement from triggering (thanks to Volticizer for pointing this one out to me!).Impossible Soaring has Launched!Jan 29, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsImpossible Soaring has officially launched!
