It's been a while since we last uploaded a notice. This notice is for the ones who have uploaded or are planning to upload a video about our game. Our team had purchased the license of the music used in the game before the release. However, the copyright of the music used in the game should be removed by us one by one every time a video is uploaded on Youtube in order for the streamers to make a profit. We have personally searched our game on Youtube and have removed the copyright until now, but we figured that it would be better for the streamers to know how this works so that they can start making a profit immediately after they upload a video. If you are planning to make a video about House of Rules containing the in-game music, or if you already uploaded a video but couldn't make any profit because of copyright issues, send us an email and we will remove the copyright as soon as possible. There have been some changes to the parody and streaming guide. We decided to allow uploading any endings of the full version including endings 19 and 20. New Parody and Streaming Guide: 1. House of Rules strictly bans game unpacking and game modification. 2. Fan art, cartoons, and parodies are allowed as long as the source is indicated, non-commercial, and does not damage the original. 3. Full version(v2.x.x): No limits for making and uploading videos or streaming, even containing the endings 19 and 20. 4. Early Access version(v1.x.x): No limits to live streaming, but please mention that it is the early access version and the full version has more features added when making and uploading videos containing endings 19 and 20. *Features added in the full version -40 achievements -the post-credits scene after the ending 20 -the item that gets unlocked when all endings are collected 5. It seems to be a bug caused by some newly introduced plugins conflicting with existing plugins. The plugin has been removed in this update, but save files previously corrupted are unlikely to be recoverable. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. The currently released Early Access version will only be available for download until the end of September. We've found the reason and discovered several ways to solve this matter: 1. Please backup your saves in Programfiles/Steam/steamapps/common/House of Rules/www/save. After updating the game, paste the files you backed up into the same folder. 2. DO NOT change languages while playing. The language change can cause errors and the game may not start or load saves. 3. If Steam keeps showing error messages when starting the game, 3-(1) Restart Steam client and your computer. 3-(2) Try starting the game by starting the exe file named HouseOfRules in Programfiles/Steam/steamapps/common/House of Rules. 3-(3) Press Ctrl, Alt, and Delete at the same time to open the task manager. Close all the running programs named nw.js. Then try starting the game. 4. If the download keeps pausing, go to the left corner of the Steam client and Press Steam-Settings-Downloads. Change Download Region to Russia-Moscow or US-New York and try again. You can also press 'CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE' at the bottom to clear the cache. This requires you to restart the Steam client.
