Updating some things..May 22, 2017 - Community AnnouncementsOur game has sat with updates to be done, and models to be made for a little while now. With the loss of most of the team, it is possible that we may have to discontinue services. We will be trying to get the game to a fully playable state with improved gameplay and grafix; but will be dropping the multiplayer and second story. We may approach the multiplayer again at some point; but for now, we will be removing the multiplayer to focus fully on the main story and gameplay. We will be posting a few new updated screen shots and video once able. We also are going to be pushing another update as soon as we can. We would like to say farewell to one of our team as they have pulled out of the work to focus on other projects. With this loss, updates will continue but may not be as big as the last 2 have been (more level and sound updates coming for the next update). We have resovled the spawning concerns on our systems, and are waiting to hear back from testers on if the concerns continue for them. Some other issues have been fixed in regards to some sounds and spawning. Known issues -4th level doors do not all function (Should be resolved within the next day) -Some texturing is not placing properly -Some sounds are not firing correct que (working on fix) -Player sounds no longer functioning (being fixed as we post) -AI may be looped in a pattern (may revert to primitve AI until fixed) -Cutscenes not triggering (Will re-render cutscenes to fix concern) -Pause menu not working (May revert to old Pause until fixed) -Save and Load not working (still working on this) If you continue to have crashing or launching concerns, please contact us at [email protected] to advise us what point the crash happens and the error code provided. If the concern presists we will go back to find another patch fix for this. Next update should be a fix of more concerns as well as ensuring that the maps have all the items and sound ques in them. For those who want to play micro versions before the release, simply ask about joining the patch testing. With everything on this update, we are going to cram as much into it as possible, though we cannot garantee all bugs will be worked out or levels being fully completed (filled with objects). We have remade EVERY LAST ONE and even added a few new ones in. We will make a sample video showing the progression of a couple of the known creatures, as well as showing off some changes that have further been made to the maps! We are pushing as hard as we can to get this service out to you, as more is done we see the gleam of the end in sight! We hope to have a full revamp of the game out in a matter of weeks (a remade version of the original story and more of the secondary story finished). At the moment we have been forced to retract the last patch as it was to unstable and people were unable to play the game at all. We have fixed that portion of the patch on our end, and will be releasing that patch with extra content added into the game as soon as we can. We would also like to welcome our new programmer into the project who will be adjusting the ai coding as well as some other coding to improve gameplay. We will attempt to keep everyone posted with news on a weekly basis from here on out until the game is in a fully playable state once more and the patch is released.
