Heliophobia

Version 1.1.2 now available!Nov 6, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsHey everyone, long time no see! While I've been mainly working my next project, Ad Infernum, I still keep an eye out for any Heliophobia feedback that comes in. Just dropping this unexpected announcement to let you know that Version 1.1.2 is now available for all platforms! This version includes two major changes: - 64-bit builds for all platforms (32-bit builds were updated too) - An updated Unity backend (which may offer a minor performance gain) Since Heliophobia was released a few years ago, Apple decided to discontinue 32-bit support on new versions of macOS. The new build will allow modern Mac users to play the game again. As a bonus, 64-bit builds may run slightly faster across all platforms. Feel free to let me know if you have any issues! -DaveVersion 1.1.1 now live!Oct 28, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsHi folks! As usual, I'm still keeping a close eye on everyone's experience with Heliophobia so far. After noticing some minor issues, I put together this update with a bunch of small fixes/improvements to clean up a bit. As opposed to the last update, this isn't a major content change, but just a bunch of things that needed a little tweaking. Read on for the full patch notes below (very minor spoiler warning). ~ Version 1.1.1 Patch Notes ~ - Slightly reduced some puzzle backup timers (some puzzles provide help if not solved for long periods of time) - Added backup timers to two more puzzles that previously didn't have them (near the end of the game) - Tweaked BGM at the very end - Tweaked textures and brightness in Hotel2 - Fixed incorrect Hotel2 photo in Theater after completion - Fixed window missing collider in Chinatown Hope everyone is enjoying it otherwise! If you're interested, feel free to write a review. It helps us out and we get to improve the game for you. Win-win! -DaveVersion 1.1 now available!Oct 21, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsSurprise! After launch I've been watching countless youtube videos and twitch streams of the game. From that, I've noticed a few spots that could use improvements. The biggest being a small number of people not understanding that they can continue on after finishing the Hotel (one person played the level 4 times in a row)! So, here's a patch with a handful of changes that will smooth out various parts of the game. Read on for the full patch notes (very minor spoiler warning). ~ Version 1.1 Patch Notes ~ - Added a check/question mark on every theater photo (showing if you've completed the level or not) - Hotel room door in the Theater now only opens after completing the level - Extra checkpoint in the Subway (near the end) - Loading/gemini symbol now appears on any level transitions that fade to white - Apartment encounter won't start until the Player actually starts searching - Better lighting in the Theater - Plane lighting tweaked a bit, door trigger goes off slightly sooner - Slightly tweaked toilet colliders (makes reaching around them easier in a specific situation) - Fixed a mis-rotated fan in Abyss2 If you notice anything else or want to share some opinions, feel free to drop a line in the forums! -DaveHeliophobia has been released!Oct 18, 2018 - Community AnnouncementsThe time has finally come for us to hit that big green "Release" button.
