Starting from 10:00 AM (JST) on June 13th, we will be updating the supply and ROM. Card Rulings Update We received multiple inquiries regarding whether the second optional effect of "Baptism" can be selected before establishing a princess. After discussing the matter with FLIPFLOPs, it has been officially ruled that the second effect of "Baptism" cannot be selected before a princess is established. The card text will be updated accordingly. As for similar cards with optional effects, such as "Confederation" and "Dwarven Jeweler", the official ruling allows the effects to be chosen before establishing a princess. However, in HEART of CROWN Online, the current specification—where these effects cannot be selected prior to establishing a princess—will remain in place for the following reasons: ・In practice, players almost never choose these effects before establishing a princess. ・The current specification was implemented in response to user feedback, specifically to prevent misclicks. While its cost remains unchanged, Baptism now offers a choice of effect upon banishing a card—you can now choose to draw 1 card. In addition, the banishable card can now be selected from either your hand or discard pile, making it seem like a major buff at first glance. However, the updated Baptism no longer has a link icon, meaning you'll need to combine it with a 2-link card to take full advantage of the draw effect—making smart pairing and strategic use more important than ever. As brand-new additions to the Northern Enchantress Second Edition, "Stone Circle" and "Divination Card" will also debut in this wave. ・Stone Circle These cards introduce a brand-new type of effect never seen before in HEART of CROWN. While they may require a bit of setup, they can be quite powerful if you meet their conditions early in the game. Additionally, they provide new ways for various cards to gain succession points through their effects, greatly expanding strategic options and making for a fun and rewarding gameplay experience. Q.If I exile a copy of "Tally" from my hand using its own effect, but place it in the discard pile instead of the exile zone, or if I set an inheritance card that was exiled by "Ethereal Deal: Senco," will the effect of "Stone Circle" be triggered? A.In both cases, the effect of "Stone Circle" will be triggered. ・Divination Card A new 2-cost card with 2 links is making its debut. Its effect is straightforward and easy to use, making it a versatile addition to many decks. However, unlike most existing 2-link cards, it does not have a "draw 1 card" effect. As a result, players used to the traditional feel of 2-link cards may find it slightly disorienting at first—so keep that in mind! As you take on more obligations, the difficulty of winning increases—challenging you to see how far you can go while bearing ever greater burdens. There are over 30 types of noblesse oblige, and the ones presented to you will be chosen at random. Because of this, you'll need to adapt your strategy based on your existing obligations—testing both your decision-making and adaptability with every match. Beta Implementation Schedule and First Wave of Cards for the New Expansion: Northern Enchantress Second Edition As announced in the recent news, here is the beta implementation schedule for Northern Enchantress Second Edition. Cards will be added in sets of four at a time, with a new set replacing the previous one approximately once per month, over several phases. Please note that this beta phase also serves as a testing period—card effects may be adjusted before the official release.
