Permanent 25% DiscountSep 11, 2024 - Community AnnouncementsIt happened: the game's cheaper to buy. In preparation for the upcoming Decide 4 God release, I planned to reduce the price of Head AS Code and Birth ME Code, and now it's been done. At first I was going to discount it closer to the release date of Decide 4 God, but since it's taking a while to finish that game and this is a really good time slot for it, that's where I ended up doing it. But why reduce the price? The reasons why I wanted to reduce the price are few but important: one, because I've received numerous reviews saying the price point wasn't quite correct in the past. Two, I based my pricing on what you'd spend for a real, tangible novel of the games' sizes, but perhaps that was a little high. And to clarify, I've always been somewhat uncompromising on the value of a project since I really would prefer not putting anyone in a situation where they bought the game full price only for it to end up permanently discounted shortly after. This is also why I don't plan on doing launch sales, preorder bonuses or anything of the sort for future projects. I want to keep the value of my product at its proper price from day one, I want to do as little FOMO as possible, and I also want to avoid the opposite where people would feel it's better for them to "wait until they get the best deal for my stuff". In the best of worlds, you get it when you feel like playing it and nobody feels worse for it, whether it's on launch day or six months later. Due to Decide 4 God, it was inevitable. Now, it has been years, and with the next game definitely costing more than either Head AS Code or Birth ME Code, I made plans to clean the house, adjust the pricing, and lessen the barrier of entry. Since I really want people to get to Decide 4 God and I don't want to make the pricing of the Abime franchise too steep, this is the result: a permanent 25% price decrease (in USD). Note that depending on your region it may be anywhere from 14% to 26%. I do not plan on lowering the prices for the games any more than this, except for weekly and holiday discounts, which will continue as soon as possible. And on the matter of discounts... As sales began slowing down a while back, I thought I should start doing more weekly discounts and I eventually came up with the idea to actually lower the base price, but I avoided doing it to maintain things as they were. That brings me to an important point: to avoid messing with the status quo too much, while the base price will be lowered, holiday discounts will be adjusted accordingly. If the game had been 60% off during a sale before, it may now start being 50% off instead. Weekly discounts will also be slightly smaller to compensate. Thank you for your support and I hope you'll continue enjoying my games for years to come.Decide 4 God has been announced!Sep 14, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsI'm proud to announce the eventual release of Decide 4 God, the final entry in the Abime Series. In this game, you will follow two different viewpoints: a woman who is investigating to find her missing brother from 20 years ago and a man who is attempting to escape a high security prison. You can expect even further twists and turns including the re-contextualization of a lot of what you thought you knew about the Abime Series. Please note that the screenshots and the info on the Decide 4 God Steam page are subject to change later, though the fundamentals of both are set in stone. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1728290/Decide_4_God/ Key features: (as of now) The final chapter in the Abime Series. Decide 4 God contains the entire truth behind the events of both Head AS Code and Birth ME Code. Familiar faces return and new faces emerge to complete the unfortunate cast suffering through over a dozen endings due to the misdeeds of Empathy Systems. Two sides of the story. You will be able to follow multiple characters as they live out their terrible tale. Side A and Side B have wildly different events making up opposite parts of a whole story. Interactions are your choices. The companions you choose to explore with determine what you find, and what you find determines your fate. You can examine rooms alone or with others, and their involvement will change how the story unfolds. Knowledge is a powerful curse. Everything you learn in your trip through Complex Twelve becomes a permanent part of your journey. The data transfers across playthroughs, but autosave means your information retention is permanent. Be careful of what you learn, as some of it may not be good for you... A linear yet malleable flowchart. The game's flowchart sorts your available paths and allows you to combine them in various ways to achieve new endings. Can you find your way out of this labyrinth of information and reach a Permanent Ending?Patch notes for 1.0.1Feb 26, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsIt's a very small patch all things considered but there is patch! Added social media buttons to the main menu to connect with my projects easily (Youtube pending approval) Fixed a few bugs such as not being able to progress with the spacebar when hovering over a button Fixed a few instances where the wrong name label was displayed while reading text Fixed a few typos Patch notes for Demo version 1.0.1Oct 23, 2020 - Community AnnouncementsYou can now look at a map of your current location when in a forced Active Search. Maps for all search-mode Active Searches will be added at a future point in time. The pause menu in the Visual Novel segments will now show the segment name and the BGM track name. Save files will no longer display "Current segment:" but only "Segment:" to save on space. Save files marked as "New file" should no longer make the game crash when attempting to delete them. Time will only count up when playing in the Visual Novel segments and nowhere else anymore. Segment titles have been tweaked. (Requires you to switch segments for it to update accordingly.) Loading into the same segment from the flowchart should now properly reset Active Search options. Known issues: Switching between windowed and full screen without closing the game before clicking "Start" will reset the current segment progress to the beginning of the segment. The very first text line of the game may have a strange slowdown when leaving the Visual Novel segment from it.Head AS Code Free Demo Live!Oct 7, 2020 - Community Announcements{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38755470/4cf5fc0eb4123c4602c01e1785935da148824a3a.png The demo to Head AS Code has released and will be live forever, not only during the Steam Festival! Around forty minutes of visual novel content await you in this preview to Head AS Code's story. Heavily inspired by the mystery genre, it's a tale of cooperation and treachery pitting together eight different participants seemingly brought together against their will. They are a dysfunctional bunch so they'll need YOU in order to keep their chin up and try to escape the underground train. Can you really figure out a way to save everyone? As Simon, try to survive and escape with your friends... or die trying. The demo doesn't feature the whole cast but it is only a little taste of the coming storm. I'm solo developer Miracle Moon and welcome to this sorrowful tale.
