GREYHAT turns 1 year old today!Aug 30, 2021 - Community AnnouncementsA year ago I launched this little game called GREYHAT - A Digital Detective Adventure. I had held on to a sliver of hope that this game would do well, but I daren't dream of the catalyst it turned out to be in my career and my life. Working on and releasing GREYHAT has turned out to be the best decision I've ever made in my life. It has opened so many doors for me. Because of this silly little game, I've been in contact with so many great people, had my voice heard in so many conversations, and am now pursuing a full-time career as a game developer. GREYHAT will always be reminder to myself that hard work eventually gets rewarded. As such, I am pleased to announce that GREYHAT will be on sale at 50% OFF all week starting today! If you've played my game, I'm eternally grateful that you took the chance on it and I hope you've enjoyed it. I do not take it for granted. As you probably already know, Steam is currently looking for nominees for the Steam Awards. I'm happy to say that GREYHAT qualifies to be nominated, and it is with great humility and gratitude that I urge you to nominate GREYHAT for whatever Award you deem it fit to receive. I'm not very good at asking for things. Thanks to the feedback of a subset of players, I've added an accessibility feature that helps players who have difficulty solving certain puzzles that require them to differentiate between certain musical tones. This feature can be activated from the Settings screen. New players will also be asked to solve a quick challenge at the Hek-Con registration screen to determine if they will find this option useful. I've been putting the finishing touches on GREYHAT as I ramp up through the final week before launch. I'm exhilarated and excited to share this game with everyone, and I hope you're excited to play it too. GREYHAT draws a lot from my own experiences and frustrations with this crazy world we live in today. It's easy to feel powerless when faced against the larger powers in the world that seek to oppress us, or view us as nothing but sources of revenue ripe for squeezing. I made GREYHAT as a way to deal with these frustrations in a productive manner, and it is my hope that playing this game can offer some sort of catharsis for you as well. For those of you who've tried the demo, I hope you're looking forward to finally getting the chance to make right the injustice that had befallen you.
