Weapon boxes are now picked up instantly in an empty slot You can empty a slot by throwing away your secondary (the bottom one) weapon by pressing and holding Q on a keyboard or Y on a gamepad If the slot is empty, an attempt to shoot will work as a punch Removed the need to protect teammates. Now, if some important to the scenario NPC dies, they will just lie down and rest, then get up and continue to run around like nothing happened. Weโ€™ve gathered here to have some fun after all. You donโ€™t have to lose and get annoyed just because panama NPC died again ๐Ÿ˜„ Added a keybind for dismounting a vehicle. Q for keyboards, Y for gamepads Disabled tutorial tooltips. Now tutorial occurs only on the first scenario levels. No annoying tips after that Now players spawn with a pistol and an empty slot All scenario levels were updated and became more playable Fixes: The game wonโ€™t skip โ€œPauseForโ€ scenario commands if fast forward was used earlier Small fixes for texts and parameters in the settings files For modders: You can set a weapon and its parameters for NPCs, same as for enemies. After I tried a lot of different platforms to store manuals, like Google Documents, Wordpress, Steam Guides, we have decided that the best way to do that is creating our own Wiki-project. It will make it easier to work with manuals for whole community. To translate, update and supplement articles, but also to communicate. In the process of learning about Wiki system, Iโ€™ve found out that Wikipedia started a #StayHomeWithWikipedia contest. Iโ€™m happy to write a post about new version ๐Ÿ˜„ Thereโ€™s a lot of changes in this update. Something new, something not forgotten old. Anyways, fun and balance came back to the game. Now some specific information: Game yet again becomes well balanced. Removed an overpowered jeep and slowmo. Thereโ€™s an idea how to bring them back - as a unique loot from special zombies, same as Looter zombies drop weapons. Some weapons, perks and enemies were also received balance changes. Campaign mode has returned. 7 levels. Levels and tutorial were updated. After all, the game is not the same without those. Online play was disabled. Steam helped me a lot by releasing Remote Play Together, which lets you play online in the same fashion as if you played together on one PC. We have tried to play it and it came out better than our own multiplayer. Except for the part that players have to plug in their controllers as if it was the real hotseat play. Two players can not play with two keyboards, someone has to play with a controller. Critical hit zones were brought back. You can pop heads again ๐Ÿค  Updated tooltips of auto tutorial. Added credits menu. For mod makers: The main game was added to the local mods folder as a mod. Now you can dissect any level, weapon, perk, enemy or even a vehicle. Want to make a PvP helicopter map? - Easy! Updated and finished manuals will come to help. Only in russian language for now. www.graverun.ru/mods/create An update in the .opt file system: Parameter number check for box spawn command. Box pick up timer can no longer be lower than zero. Fixes: Launch option โ€œDisableSoundLoadingโ€ was renamed to โ€DisableSoundsโ€ and will now prevent sounds from playing. Previously it prevented only their loading. It was made for players who have problems with sound. I hope I could bring it back to them in future. I have a plan ๐Ÿ˜‰ Some critical errors (which I managed to catch) will now be logged and displayed in a debug screen instead of crashing or freezing. For example, a bug which was caused by loading a level with a nonexistent image was fixed. Fixed an error that caused level task completion to set level language to english. Hello everyone. I'm one of those players who likes to change games for themselves, to add something of their own. In 2011, I looked through a list of indie games with the "shoot'em up" tag and came across GraveRun. After a quick content check, I found out that everything in this game is stored in simple text files with few code lines, which I can change or add something new. I didn't find the AK-47 so decided to make it myself - I copied files of M-16 and changed damage, rate of fire, other gun values, also sound files and few other things. I found a suitable image for the HUD in the Internet, then I drew a pixel sprite of the weapon in character's hands. Done! I was very proud of my work because it was my first experience of creating mods in games. And I was only 15 years old. I decided to contact the developer and found his blog in LiveJournal. After a while, my mod was finalized and added to the game, to which I was very pleased. Later, I added another weapon - a Gauss rifle. I even remember as we argued, whether it should have recoil and what laws of physics apply to it. After a while, I decided to help the developer with English translation of game content and update posts, which I still do. I hope this helps the project to become more popular and gain a large enough player base to appear in the list of Steam recommendations.
