Players who have purchased the disc version are strongly encouraged to download and install this latest update. Changes from Ver. 1.1.4 (Steam) New Content Added two new challenging quests: "Gulp... So These Are the Rumored Monsters" and "Lock Horns." How to unlock "Gulp... So These Are the Rumored Monsters": Unlock Extreme-difficulty quests. How to unlock "Lock Horns": Clear "The Tale of Bahamut's Rage" quest. Added two new playable characters: Seofon and Tweyen. These two characters require special crewmate cards, which can be traded for at the Knickknack Shack. Treasure required for the cards is obtained from the quests "Gulp... So These Are the Rumored Monsters" or "Lock Horns." *Character Expansion Sets are also available for purchase. Each set contains the necessary treasure for unlocking their respective character. Added sigils with new traits. They will appear in the Knickknack Shack after clearing "Gulp... So These Are the Rumored Monsters" or "Lock Horns." Added new trophies. Up to 30 sigil transmutations can now be simultaneously executed at one time. Added the option to rewatch the end credits from the Title Screen. The option will unlock after completing the Final Chapter. Battle General Environmental factors such as strong winds and ground tremors should no longer interrupt players that have an active Stout Heart effect. This also applies to non-Stout Heart effects that prevent interrupts from foe attacks. Increased the radius of stun damage dealt to foes upon a successful perfect guard. Improved the visibility of visual indicators for successful perfect guards performed by party members. Improved the visibility of damage numbers that have hit their damage cap. When Battle Camera Correction is set to Off, the camera should no longer automatically point toward the originator of a chain burst. Fixed a bug where the Tyranny trait effect wasn't properly applying to Skybound Arts. Fixed a bug where the "Boosts the amount of link level gained" effect granted by the Linked Together trait wasn't properly applying to Skybound Arts. Fixed an intermittent bug where Eugen's sticky grenade attacks failed to fill his SBA gauge. Party members with a skill that can revive will no longer automatically cast that skill on a player who enters critical condition and has the Autorevive status effect. Fixed a bug that, under certain conditions, caused the player to continuously guard despite only pressing the guard button once. The Captain (Gran/Djeeta) Fixed an intermittent bug where the damage cap of Decimate would be superseded by the damage caps of other attacks. Katalina Environmental factors such as strong winds and ground tremors should no longer cancel Ares's summoning during Ares Pactstrike. Increased the amount of gauge gain granted by the Ares Gauge Gain Up mastery node. Online Multiplayer ・Fixed an intermittent bug that prevented stats scaling even when Power Adjustment was turned on. ・Lowered the scaling degree of HP and ATK stats when matching with players who have Power Adjustment turned on. ・Fixed a bug where after matching with players who had Power Adjustment turned on, visual effects for fully awakening weapons wouldn't display. ・Fixed a bug that prevented a player from rejoining the same session if a network error had occurred during the session. Battle General ・Auto Target Switching should no longer switch to an ice pillar on Mt. Neigelith whenever the original locked-on target is destroyed or lost. ・Adjusted the camera to stay centered on a locked-on foe that's far away whenever possible. ・Adjusted camera lock-on behavior during The Tale of Bahamut's Rage quest. ・Adjusted the amount of link time extension granted by attacks, which was known to have caused link time to be extended for longer than intended. ・Added visual and audio indicators to notify a player if their buffs have been removed. ・Fixed a rare bug where a player wasn't able to aim throwable objects while playing online. The Captain (Gran/Djeeta) ・Hits that raise Arts lvl now extend the time before Arts Lvl resets from activating a skill. Trophy/Achievement Issue: ・Obtaining loot from destroying parts or rewards after clearing certain quests may cause the Reminiscence trophy/achievement to become no longer obtainable in the way it was intended. *The False Sword of the Apocalypse, which is paid content, doesn't count toward unlocking Reminiscence. However, if you do meet the trophy requirements, there have been instances of the trophy unlocking upon obtaining the False Sword of the Apocalypse. *Please note that making purchases to acquire this trophy is neither intended nor required. *We're working on an update that will award the missing trophy/achievement to players who have already fulfilled its requirements. Chapter Select Issue: ・Before completing Chapter Ø for the first time, if a player uses chapter select to clear the chapter that comes right before Chapter Ø, and then tries to continue playing through Chapter Ø, this may cause normal progression to break. *We're working on an update to restore normal gameplay to players affected by this issue. Online Multiplayer Issues: ・Some instances of games crashing during multiplayer. ・Receiving network connection errors when departing on a quest. Rewards Issues: ・When a player clears a fate episode quest by restarting from a game over, if the player then continues on to another quest and unlocks a new quest difficulty, the rewards for unlocking that new quest difficulty may not be given. ・After getting the message about rewards for unlocking a new quest difficulty, if the player closes the game without saving, those rewards may no longer be obtainable upon reloading. ・Side quest rewards may not be given when playing on Ultimate difficulty from chapter select.
