We're now shipping an update so that all users, including linked accounts, can replay Amateur Divison as many times as they like! This includes all current as well as all future such subscribers. GeoGuessr Steam Edition is in Early Access. That is, we're still developing and learning as we go. The original intent of this edition was to reach a new audience, who may or may not have heard of GeoGuessr before but primarily has Steam as their platform of choice for gaming. As such, we didn't think too much about adapting this edition to the existing user base on browser version, but wanted to give a lower priced, condensed version of our most popular game mode Duels to all the potential new GeoGuessr pros out there. Hence, we're humbly overwhelmed to see the huge interest and engagement from the existing user base to also be able to play on Steam! To accommodate, we've therefore decided to not limit GeoGuessr Steam Edition to Elite Yearly subscribers, but also Unlimited Yearly. General notes: Having a GeoGuessr browser subscription does not grant you full access to the GeoGuessr Steam Edition, unless you have an Elite Yearly subscription. Nor does a GeoGuessr Steam Pass grant you access to the GeoGuessr browser version. GeoGuessr Steam Pass holders will be able to cross-play against GeoGuessr browser subscribers and vice versa. To accommodate, the release date had to be pushed slightly, which is why we're writing this to let you know that instead of April, the game will be released in May.
