Earning XP allows you to raise your player level and unlock powerups for Survival Cooperative use. - Powerups: Reach higher waves in SURVIVAL CO-OP by earning Powerups. Locally, you could purchase one before going into battle (this feature is currently unavailable online). Each player will also gain a single random powerup by defeating a member of the Descended (who appear in Wave 10 and every 5 waves after). There are nine in total! Collect them all and try them out. (Update)Apr 20, 2016 - Community AnnouncementsSensing the Jiblets' turmoil, The Racch, a race of alien parasites have arrived to the Jiblets' homeworld to cause further chaos. Play a brand new game type called Infection. Each round, one of four players (or AI-controlled players) will take a turn becoming The Infected. Once Infected, that player must pass on the infection to the other players before the time runs out and the round is over. Also new to the game is Trophy mode. Trophies are dropped by fallen players. Picking the trophies up awards an additional point (think, Kill Confirmed). Another classic mode has also been added, Domination. For those unfamiliar with it, all Hills are spawned on the map. Players will have to fight for these Hills to score any points. Also included are new related challenges and achievements. (The netplay updates are forthcoming.)Infection is here!
