I am very excited to announce that the game was updated with version 0.24a! This is a huge content update, which I've been tirelessly working on for the past 3 weeks. It adds atleast two hours of content for one playthrough and brings a lot of changes and improvements to the game. Please remember that new dialogue lack voice over at the moment, because it's still being recorded. Faction war on Tranquil Strand Now you can particpate in a war between three factions: Fishermen, Lazarian and Pirates. Joining each faction will give you unique rewards and new content to complete. The Lazarian Temple is now submerged by default, and you will need to raise it from the ocean to enter it. This was always the original intention, but I've just left it open to give players some difficult content to complete, while faction wars were being finished. Fishermen: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44588472/79a6fca7e1d2b64e228f930131dbc2d6994d5ac6.jpg To join this faction, talk to the Elder Wally near the entrance to Aramoore, and you will be able to defeat Lazarian and make the coast safe for Fishermen, and allow mage academy to research the Lazarian temple, and also you will participate in Fishermen Festival quest. After you join the faction, you will be able to help Lazarian completely destroy all opposing factions and gain full control over the zone. This will allow you to gain access to new improved Lazarian buildings and get a quest to recruit a unique Lazarian companion. After joining this faction you will be able to asault other factions in the zone, and even visit new unique pirate town called Skaldebra and complete quest there. We are working hard on a new big version 0.24 and I wanted to share a little more info about it. Faction war The update will be all about faction war in the second zone between fishermen village, Lazarian and Pirates. You will be able to join any of the faction and support them in their war against other factions. I plan to finish it at the end of May- beginning of June. New abilities I also want to add new highest tier abilities for some skill trees, to finalize their playstyle for the foreseeable future. The game was just updated with version 0.22.10 New content New secondary quest. New secondary quest was added to the game, called Heart of the Stone. It's a small and simple quest that was originally meant for Earth Elemental crusher boss in the second zone, but werent able to put it in at the time. Now it can be completed, even though the voice over is still in development. You can find a portal near Volflar Temple in the first zone Balance and gameplay changes I've finally had some time to address some balance and gameplay issues and improve some of the abilities. I will continue to improve and add more abilities all through May. General: Torch reworked into lantern, which doesnt influence your animation anymore and looks better Reworked merchant prices values a little to prevent gaining some of them with crafting easily Added new difficulty setting - nightmare. Difficulty settings now also influence damage enemies receive, in addition to the damage player receive. You can now change difficulty of your worlds at any time from the worlds list Reduced overall mana regen bonus a little more. I think mana regen is in a good state at this point, which is you won't need to constantly drink after each smaller and easier encounter in the world, but some of the harder fights will drain your mana after some time Projectiles from staves now have auto-aim that should help with hitting enemies Aggro calculation reworked, now you will generate a little more aggro from longer distance Melee: Increased axe swings speed by about 10% Reduced jump landing damage by about 15%. Jump is already fantastic positioning. movement and stagger ability, so I didn't wanted it to become a primary damage ability also Improved ultimate melee abilities. Overall stamina regen increased by 150% Melee: Constant whirlwind didnt scale normally with all weapons, so now it scales from single base value. While I am focusing at the moment mostly on fixing critical bugs, I'm also trying to improve on game feel a little bit too, based on your feedback. Hopefull I'll be able to focus on it more next week. Slightly improved dodge roll speed and distance Slightly imrpoved base attack speed for low agility characters. I still don't want them to feel as fast in combat as high agility characters, but this should improve the feel of the combat Improved collision for melee weapons, now you have more chances to hit your target. Crafting changes: Based on a lot of feedback from the players, especially multiplayer, I've decided that current intellect requirements don't really work for crafting. Now every character can craft anything with any amount of intellect. I still want the intellect to give some sort of bonus for intellect inc rafting, so now higher intellect slightly improves chances of increasing crafting skill while crafting. It's not a huge difference, but it should give some advantages in the long run and works for roleplaying. I've also added a crafting window at the upper bar, that shows current masteries of different crafts of your character. What's next? As I mentioned before, stability right now is the priority. I'm aware of the issues with muiltiplayer, and we are working hard on finding and solving them. After that we will focus on improving gameplay feel, and adding some missing features like potion of oblivion for respec and other useful staff. Thank you for your support. We poured our hearts and souls into this project, and I can confidently say that this is the best and most ambitious game I've ever produced in 13 years of my game development journey!
