Without further ado, let’s jump into the update ⬇️ Fixed Journal texts being all in caps – It ain't much but it's honest work, ey Changed Sushi Recipes to require 3 pieces of fish instead of 5, meaning that you should no longer need to play Sushi Minigame multiple times to succeed, instead if played well you will get extra resources towards the next sushi – And that's what we call a quality-of-life update! We know that sushi minigame wasn't your favorite before, so we made it a bit better. On top of that we made some adjustments to the sushi tutorial, which is cool, right? Also, we hope you're sitting right now, because... Sushi Minigame Buttons are now rebindable – THAT'S RIGHT! That means you should be able to play it on any keyboard you want! Considering our portfolio of games for the upcoming years this was necessary and already shows great benefits for our games already. However, being a rather small development team, our folks in marketing, producing and QA have “bursts” of activity that put a lot of work on them for a limited amount of time and then they have some less stressed time on their hands. We have thus decided to use that time well and become a publisher for another company in a very specified field: premium simulator games. We have been working together with a group of people in the past years that now established their own game development company: Codebusters Studio and we will publish their upcoming premium simulators. As DRAGO entertainment we will also be involved in design and producing of these games to ensure they fit nicely to our target audience. This is going to be a very close cooperation on these games, basically everything except our own developers participating in their production since let’s face it, they have more than enough work with our own games ;-) For you as gamers nothing changes when it comes to our own games. We also made some more performance improvements while at it. Bug Fixes Fixes a crash issue with the upgraded cutting board and while at it we fixed the sushi problem, too. Fixes a potential crash during the competition. Fixes a problem with the Find Lucian’s Shop quest. Fixes an issue that caused map markers not showing after loading a game. Fixes a bug that caused custom map markers to not always save correctly. Fixes a bug that caused the UI text to shake on the screen while fueling. Fixes multiple issues with lock picking. The way lock picking works under the hood has been reworked in order to eliminate the issues reported. Fixes an issue that could cause inputs to be processed incorrectly when in the journal causing in turn the character to walk unintentionally. Fixes a bug that prevented the radio stations not to play. Fixes an issue with menu creator when aborting prematurely or switch tabs in the PC. Fixes an issue that prevented the Hurricane shop marker to be displayed correctly on the map. Fixes an issue with missing gas station thumbnail on the map. Fixes a bug that caused fast travel icons to not unlock properly on the map. Added missing sounds when putting a pizza together. Fixes a bug when fuelling the truck that allowed to fuel it despite the tank already being full. Fixes a problem of not being able to interact correctly with Hurricane when ordering from Clara. Fixes a bug that made the mouse cursor disappear when in the shop tab. Fixes a bug that blocked UI buttons during sabotage and slashing tires. Fixes a bug that caused the confirmation popup on Save and Load to not close correctly. Fixes the problem with disappearing icons while driving. Fixes a bug that caused the achievements Serious Player and Local Hero to not register correctly. Fixes an issue with Clara’s job marker to being displayed correctly. Improvements The Back to Shop button is now active during the quests with Luciano and Hurricane. Highlighting items has seen some improvement and should now be more responsive and better visible. The state of the jerrycan in the garage is now being properly saved. Saving and loading the state of jobs has been improved and should be a lot more reliable now. More tutorials in Free Roam have been added. The Journal tab has proper animations now. While at it, multiple photos in the journal have been fixed. Inventory items and now better displayed. Clara’s shop working hours in Free Roam have been adjusted. Vehicle AI has seen a series of smaller improvements. Performance Various static meshes/objects in the game world has been further optimized for better performance. Reduced the amount of graphical assets being kept in memory even when not needed at any given time resulting in a smaller memory (RAM) footprint. The team has been busy as popcorn on a skillet in order to bring you even more content to the game and fix major issues that players have encountered during their Food Truck journey🍔🚌 We’ve gathered a lot of feedback from you, and based on that, we’ve added some improvements to the game. Having said that, we’d really like to thank you for all for the support that we’ve received from you so far. Please, remember that if you run into any issues during the gameplay, feel free to drop us the message in the comment section below. As for this patch, it's larger than the previous one, so grab your favorite drink, relax, and enjoy the reading.⬇️ Improvements A Menu Creator has been added to the game allowing you to create a menu out of existing recipes to be drawn from at selling points. You can now buy pre-cutted ingredients. These cost a bit more, but that’s the price you have to pay for gaining time. Improvements to handling randomization when drawing orders to prevent the same orders to appear subsequently too often. Improvements have been made to the map allowing you to zoom in/out and add custom markers to the map. The default setting for zooming is on the mouse wheel and brackets . Balancing Requirements for devices/appliances have been rebalanced as some could be upgraded too early and other too late. Sushi container now only accepts rolls as we initially intended. The last update introduced a bug allowing placement of others things that lead to multiple bugs and issues down the road. Pizza dough freshness does not degrade that fast anymore. Performance A series of performance improvements across the board in all areas of the game. This should result in smoother performance on most system and a significant reduction in stuttering. Many LODs in the game have been improved or reworked to improve visuals and increase performance. Bug Fixes Fixes a bug that caused lock-up in the shop and thus preventing the Hurricane related quest to be completed correctly. Fixes the issue that causes some markers on the map to displayed twice. Fixes a bug that caused the distance on markers to not be shown after loading a game. Fixes various issues, bugs and sound levels for ingredients and their placement. Fixes an issue causing the UI to disappear after fast-traveling. Other Halloween content has been disabled by default. If you enjoyed it and want to retain that content in your game, please enable it in the options menu. Japanese language has been added to the game. Simplified Chinese has been improved. More like a lot of hot fixes rolled into one, but we wanted to roll them out before the weekend. The following things have fixes or altered: Bug Fixes Fixes the fuel canister wrong popup. Fixes an issue that caused the map to not reveal correctly based on prestige progress in sandbox mode. Fixes the mini-map not showing location correctly in sandbox mode. Fixes a fast-travel issue in sandbox mode. Fixes the fast-travel infos in sandbox mode. Fixes an item sorting issue with the inventory. Fixes an issue that caused food truck layouts not being available from previous saves. Fixes a save issue with fried oil. Fixes an issue causing banners not being correctly detected as owned. Fixes an issue with some assets not showing their textures in the Halloween content correctly or at all. Fixes the “flying slices” issue at selling points. Fixes an issue when you quit cutting without actually having cut anything. Balancing Cut buns are now stacking to 10. Sushi slices are now stacking up to 10. Sushi roll are now stacking up to 5. Other Changes the way items in the customization UI are being shown in order to support more customizations. Various localization updates. Some smaller tooltip changes to make their meaning clearer. It fixes and improved a lot of issues, adds new things and features some neat Halloween content. Enjoy! Halloween This update adds Halloween related content to the game. This content will not be removed after Halloween, so you can enjoy it whenever you feel like it. For that purpose you’ll have a button in the menu to enable or disable Halloween related content. The following Halloween content has been added: Exterior decorations for the food truck. Interior decorations for the food truck. New decorations for the garage. New garage wall decoration. All selling points have been decorated. Decoration throughout the city added. A special Halloween song for the gas station job added. Gameplay Free roam is now available right away. You don’t need to finish the story mode any longer in order to enjoy some sandbox action. There are 7 levels of prestige, each unlocking the following features: tools, devices, truck and garage customizations, new areas on the the map and selling points. You can now enter the back of the food truck while in the garage to manage storage or prepare ingredients that do now involve using the kitchen appliances. New selling spot mechanic. The selling points are now open 24 hours a day and have special ‘Rush Hours’ during which the amount of customers is increased. Preparation time before cooking and some control over customer traffic via an open/close sign you control in sandbox mode in addition to the rush hour mechanics. Improvements Keybidings have been redone. They now contain a lot more configuration options and are separated into categories now. A lot of the issues with key binds and mini-games have been resolved as well. Manual Saves have been added. You can now invoke saving your game manually in addition to the game’s auto-save feature. There are however a few limitations for the time being as you can’t manually save in selling points, during sabotage or when in a dialog. We plan to have those restrictions removed in the next update. Assembling recipes has seen some improvement by expanding tray and boxes logic so you can easier and faster assemble the recipe having either item in hand and putting the ingredients inside. The Tray itself has also been improved. You can grab the tray and collect slices of food while holding the tray. You can now also add multiple slices. We did the same thing for the food boxes so you can hold them now and put things directly into them. Cutting has been improved. We increased the amount of slices cutting yields and changed the camera behaviour during cutting. Balancing Inventory capacity has been increased. Each level of a device now has its capacity improved by 5. Inventory management has seen some changes. All selling points got some neat Halloween decorations. A Halloween paint job is a given, but there are also lots of decoration types for the food truck, including its inside.
